I bought one of the wired ones with the speakers for my wife. Liked it so much I bought another wired unit to work with my vintage 1980s Pioneer floor stereo system. The music I listen to sounds great.
That is excellent to hear! I am a long-time vinyl fan and actually used to tour as a DJ back in the day. Though I have a pro rig, I recently purchased one of the Marley decks for my office and I was blown away by the sound quality and ease of setup/use. Keep up the good work!🤘

Hi I have this turntable, and it sounds like you may have the anti-skate set too high. The anti-skate is the silver knob near the tonearm. I would set this to 1 and below as it seems to be quite strong on this turntable. So if you have it at 1 now and it still is stopping to soon, try move it to 0.8 or 0.5. And see if that fixes it.
There is a volume control for the headphone output. The other output does not have a volume controller and needs to be used with device that has a volume control
It is possible to use powered speakers either via Bluetooth or the RCA output. Keep in mind though, when Bluetooth is activated, the turntable's stereo RCA outputs and headphone output are muted so you could listen to one pair or the other, not both at the same time.
Hi Maria, sorry to hear that. Which turntable do you have? Keep in mind, if you got it here, you can call our Tech Support for help setting it up. Their direct number is on your invoice.
The House Of Marley Stir it Up turntable is no longer available for purchase through Crutchfield at this time. It does feature a rotary volume knob to control the output for the wired headphones.
The speakers in the video definitely have good bass for their size. However, they have a 3.5" woofer and are not expected to produce bass at the levels you mentioned. That requires bigger drivers and more power. We offer other options and some that delivery very powerful bass. Are there any other abilities that you want in the speakers or preferences that we should keep in mind when we make a recommendation for you?
We're certainly sorry to hear that. If it was purchased from Crutchfield, please give our Tech Support staff a call at the phone number listed on your invoice for assistance.

But what does it sound like? I wanted a speaker from HOM in the past, compared it to a Marshall Stanmore and Acton. The sound was awful. I truly believe Bob would have wanted a much more deeper bass as is common when listening to reggae… So, before investing, you could go with the genre than spawned a thousand sub genres over time!
The Bob Marley quote etched on these tonearms says it all: "One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain". From there though, the speaker you use certainly make all the difference. What type of setup would you be looking to connect one of these turntables to?
@@crutchfield What do you recommend. I already have had two SL 1200 technics to in my life and a Linn Sondek belt driven to as well but I was interested in getting one for my son. I feel this is a marketed product and doe not appear to be aimed at anything else other than the mainstream market. Of course, paired with what I mentioned, it would sound good provided the cartridge and stylus is decent. That is the ideal set up for me to present to my son. So, what’s your take on it..?
It's an excellent choice for a starter system. The Semi-automatic operation makes things easier too. Have you landed on a speaker to use or did you need help choosing?
@@crutchfield I have a pair of floor standing Focal speakers now. And also the Marshall Stanmore iii speaker which has Bluetooth capability. The Focal speakers are to be used with a Cambridge amp when I can decide on the turntable.
its not the proper way ,automatics are just as good even better a good well made TT will place tonearm on record with out the chance of a shaky hand or if you stumble and drop the tone arm by accident which i have done ,nobody is perfect we are humans !!!!! and very stupid ones !!! I will add ,I grew up with the automatic TT yes some were made poorly with cheapy cart but there were also fine TT.s automatic and are fantastic I have a Dual 1009sk fully auto this works perfectly it always places stylus on record perfectly and sometimes we will dose off if record finishes it will not stay at end of record but go back tp its rest and not wear out stylus JRo
Hopeless quality and customer service, I would avoid. I had two and both were awful. Now have a Sony and it is so much better! As for environmentally friendly I had mine delivered and then had to return it and that happened twice!

Hi. I just bought the wireless stir up turntable. It seems to auto-stop playing some records before they end. Any way to fix this issue please?

Is there a volume control option? to play music louder or softer? thank you
There is a volume control for the headphone output. The other output does not have a volume controller and needs to be used with device that has a volume control
Crutchfield is incorrect here: there is no headphone volume control option. It is a dumb design error.
So I can use the duo speakers (one wired in and the other bluetooth) with the wired turntable?

How do I remove the plate ?

Great of course! 🤣
@@crutchfield so powerful, god fearing bass ?
😀 Well that would really depend on the specific speakers being used, but the potential is certainly there. 🙂

Excellent sound quality either way there. The built-in phono pre-amp will give you the option to connect via RCA to either option as well.
