Exo is the most or one of the most vocal talented group in the industry. All of them can sing, even the rappers! That is undeniable!

They are just so freaking talented and skilled singers!
i can def see that! they are all pretty well honed. To have this much individual talent in one group is kinda crazy. I don't think it happens that often.

Chen is called a DINOSAUR because HE HAS A LOUD AND RESONANT VOCAL🥰 LITERALLY VOCAL KING and yes EXO have been in the industry for 12 years now in 2024.
I heard a lot of dinosaurs were more like birds than reptiles. So sometimes I imagine a t-rex making loud chicken noises rather than roaring hehe.
Chen is a beast. And I missed a lot in kpop. I think in the early days I just couldn't jive w the beats they were working w. But I started fing w the beats when I heard Blackpink a few years ago. I noticed the beats evolved w the times and got to a place that I can get jiggy w hehe.

Yeah I grew up listening to western pop artists so I just started listening to kpop (Exo) in 2018 when TEMPO mv was released and I legit fell into the EXO rabbit hole that album (Don't Mess up My Tempo) was fire! So since then I've been listening to their older to present songs and I like most of them and I realize I like vocalist groups and because of them I appreciate ballads now. So yeah I'm thankful for Exo and red velvet for opening my ears to greater music genre and top-tier vocals❤️🔥💯

Yes Killing Voice is a must!
KAI, the guy in black jacket, is EXO's center and one of its main dancers. He is the first Korean global ambassador for GUCCI. The guy who came after him and whose vocal tone you liked is D.O. (Doh Kyung-Soo). He is one of EXO's 3 main vocalists.
Fun Fact: ALL EXO members are accomplished vocalists. They've been in the business for 12 years.
Recommendation: Give a listen to their pre-debut and debut tracks, HISTORY, WHAT IS LOVE and MAMA to get an idea how they started out.

The guy at 12:52 is Sehun and he is one of the two main rappers. His position is subvocalist so he doesn't get many vocals parts, but often harmonizes with other members. But still you can see that he's really good 😅👍🏼🥹🥹 as you said

I just have an engineering background so im able to notice certain ish. But it's how You like, respond, dislike, react to their songs that give the artist's life and feedback and purpose. That's the real lifeblood of the idnustry. Not me.
idk if u follow sports but I follow the NFL. I played into college. It's not as if NFL players only play for former players. They play for the fans. The owners and execs all cater the game and its presentation for the fans (some may have played in the past), not the analysts.

this group is EXO. My own opinion their vocal skills, dancing skills, visuals and lovely personalities are a once in a lifetime group. One can never find a group as talented as them.
throughout the past decade, ppl have tried to update me on what's new in kpop. But for some reason, nobody told me about EXO. They are incredible.

It's unfortunate that some recording videos like these get edited/processed post-prod by some companies... SM ones aren't though so i think it'll be fine ! Red Velvet and NCT ones are really fun to watch. aespa recordings are really comfortable. With RIIZE, you'll get to feel the taste of rookies lol but it's nice to see their growth as they're slowly sharing their ideas to the producer.

EXO fans are called EXO-L for some reason. Back then the group was divided into 2 sub-groups. EXO-K to do promotions in Korea and EXO-M to promote in China (M=Mandarin), they took the word L because it's in between K and M in alphabet (K,L,M) also the L stands for Love which also related to exo's slogan 사랑하자 or "Let's love"

the oldest member is born in 1990 and youngest is born 1994. Thanks for the react. Yes they are being chill on this song. The three main vocalists are Chen first guy wearing black beannie, then Baekhyun with the yellow cap and D.O. who did "1,2,3..". Lead vocalists are the Suho last guy wearing hoodie with a rose and Xiumin wearing black shirt who said "get me out get me out" after his session. Vocalist/main dancer is Kai wearing buttoned up shirt and black blazer. Chanyeol the tallest and Sehun wearing black cap backwards are the main rappers.

I recommend Cream Soda if you want to see/hear them flex in the MV and in the bts recording. (it also has a dance practice vid if you like dancing 😊) Kai isn't there though, his voice is included in the track but cause he had to enlist already, he isn't in the MV of Cream Soda. These 2 songs Hear Me Out and Cream Soda are part of their latest Album called EXIST. Unfortunately, only these 2 songs have a bts recording vid. ☹Highly recommend you listen to the songs. EXO is that RnB group you said you like. Along with other genres, their discography is a breath of fresh air in Kpop.
Kyungsoo/D.O. is my bias 🤩the 123 guy hehe. All of them are already in their 30s. 2 members are still in the military but they will be complete again next year.

And dam I be forgetting about the military service. I had never lived in Corea, but I had an opportunity to work there. But before I can finalize the paperwork they said I had to do military service first because my dad didn't do his before leaving Corea. I told them I'm not even a citizen and I don't speak Corean, so how am I supposed to function in yal military? they said they have a platoon for ppl like me lmaoooo. Unfortunately I had to throw away my dream of modeling in Corea.

When I was active in music engineering n production, a lot of heads wanted me to rap bc they thought my voice was dope. But I was pretty committed to just being behind the scenes. And I was also performance shy. I be thinking about it nowadays tho bc Im out the music game and i sometimes wish I had a rapper on my beats and wonder if i should just do it. Korea has a lot of tall guys but I only know like a couple of idols that tall.. Kyungsoo is just 5'8" as well as 3 of the other members but he also has a really deep speaking voice.. Shy too 😊

Hey, I also only sing in church. Thats why I fell for EXO bec sometimes I learn something watching them sing live. Seeing Chanyeol play the acoustic or electric guitar is really cool. The guys is really good at it. 👌🏼

worddd. that's awesome. have they always both sang and rapped? If I'm understanding correctly, they have been active for a while. and I remember not too long ago, to be able to both sing n rap was special. if they have been doing that since the beginning that's really admirable.

Sehun is also a lead dancer and has helped choreographing
EXO debuted in 2012 and they were 12 members,in 2014/2015 3 Chinese members left and since then are 9 members
@@by9thplanet Chanyeol ( the tell guy) actually wanted to sing and audition as singer, But you know Kpop, they make the lower voice as rapper, He did feel bad for sometime, but he is a very competitive man, he get annoyed if he thinks he can't do something well, He is a true musical genius, can play all the instruments most people can name, can do dj, is an actor ( all EXO members are actually), Produce, write songs, he is good at every sports too 😂, so he is a damn good rapper as well.
While Sehun, in his early era hardly had few words in the songs( as they were 12, and he mostly used to get least amount of lines) but over the time he started getting more lines, and he is also another main rapper, however singing was never his thing, he rap and dance but EXO is famous for ballads, so he also get to sing, over the time he became good ( especially as a non vocalist member), he goes for vocal lesson as well,as his group mates are too good, and he thinks it’s his responsibility to improve for the sake of the group( he now has more singing lines in their songs).He does all the low harmonies in their song.

Sehun reminds me of Trey Songz. Wasn't the strongest singer in the beginning but kept honing his craft and got better over time. I'm happy that he's getting bigger roles lately.

Got into Kpop with Big Bang, then fell into Exo just after they debuted(and followed relgiously), Current favs tho are Monsta X.. I think you would love their studio time.. especially on the member produced songs. I think you will be impressed

Oh I miss KAI (guy in black beanie and jacket). He's currently enlisted in the military. He's not able to promote with them during this comeback because of that. He's actually really fashionable as he's a Gucci global ambassador. Kai's also the center and main dancer of the group.
EXO will have their grand comeback and tour once the youngest duo (Kai and Sehun) comes back from military.
oh sheeeesh. I heard he did a Gucci gig. That's so good for him. I hope they're treating him well in the service. I hear it can be brutal :/
But I heard they shortened the service a few years ago so that's good! hehe
@@by9thplanet Kai is not on active duty due to the injuries (e.g. 4 herniated discs and ankle injury) he acquired as a dancer for years; he's not medically fit. He's serving as a Public Servant instead after receiving a basic military training at a boot camp. Though this kind of enlistment is a little bit longer than the duration of active military duty. Kai is expected to discharge from military by February 2025.

@@by9thplanet Kai has been dancing since he was 8 years old and throughout the time (especially as an idol + main dancer) he had injured different parts of his body. He did say he will always perform unless he hurts his legs. For example 2 days before their concert, he suddenly had cervical disc problem and he still managed to perform on stage and to counter the pain, he shared that he was also given painkillers. Kai views this as an inevitable part of his career, as idols generally have to dance a lot.
There are others like Kai (half of EXO) that enlists as public servants since they are not medically fit to be on active duty.

Ha ha ha 20s😂 they are in their 30s😅,They are definitely the Royalty of Kpop.They are pretty much a perfect group, but two things they are absolutely unbeatable is their vocal and Visual😅 They have 3 strongest main vocalists of kpop( who casually rank in top 5 as whole kpop), then they have some of strongest lead vocalists of kpop, their rappers also sings crazy as you have seen, so they are the best vocalist male group of kpop. Then their Visual, like Looks is kinda subjective, even if you aren’t not attracted to some of them, you still can't deny how premium they look.
ah makes sense! it's not easy to have to hone two different crafts and excel as well as they do.
My cousins put me onto kpop a bit in the late 90s and early 00s. I haven't kept up since until mad recent. So they must have been killin the game in that time period where I wasn't tapped into kpop. they are very very good !
