I thought that when Jack picked up the cup at first it could just be Dean lying on floor, and the cup was used with imagination to call each other, similar to the finger guns and last chocolate in tin sketch. Loved how it changed into a different direction, with Jack and Dean not knowing one another, and how Dean works at a CupPhone Warehouse. Love how it went into a different direction to how a Jack and Dean sketch usually goes. :D

Ok.... so I would like to direct your attention to a smaller group of youtubers called Door Monster, about 2 months ago they put out a video called "Cup and string" obviously very simillar layout, content of the videos completely different, but I can't help but think they may have been the initial idea for this video.

I mean, fair, but there is also this th-cam.com/video/7IMjlBvzyWY/w-d-xo.html which was released about 4-5 years ago, so who can say what inspired what?
videos like these take almost no time to make, if you watch TomSka's 2nd vlog channel DarkSquidge you see this kinda stuff takes a couple days to write, one day to film and any real length takes part in the edit, and this was fairly bare bones, i cant immagine this taking much longer than a week from start to finish
Ok but, correct me if I'm wrong (like genuinly correct me), you have never edited before I am assuming. Edits likes this seem "bare bones" but even bare bone edits take a while. Something like this could take up to two week at a minimum depending on the quality they filmed in, if they had to convert anything, syncing visual and audio, making sure the cuts are just right and where they need to be. And thats just bare bone editing, not including things like color grading and such things.
