The way you emphasis words really helps with understanding the text, like just one random example, the line about how the smoke was so thick that "even their eyes could not see through it" confused me, i thought it was just a weird way to say the smoke was too thick to see. But the way you emphasize even "their" eyes made it instantly click, ohh tolkien means specifically that even the goblins keen eyesight, who are well adapted at seeing in darkness, could not see through it. Its subtle but just that slight emphasis changes the context so much, so thanks for the excellent reading!

I just wanted to thank you for doing these, I've been a huge fan of all things Tolkien since I was ~12 and my mom introduced me to The Hobbit. It was my jumping off point into a myriad of books that changed my life, so it will always be extra special.
You do such an amazing job, I love the different voices and cadences. You genuinely bring middle earth to life in a way that the movies could not.
