Sometimes TH-cam recommends something to you and you take a chance...I'm glad I did. You gave me a few ideas and I especially like the 1/2 of your cornhole boards...Go Gators! ha!
I'm also glad and I'm glad you got some ideas you liked. Haha yes, I love those boards as well. I am the Gators half. Thank you for watching and the kind comments.
Nice set-up Also using large rubbish bins to store shorter lengths of timber & maybe some garden tools, but avoid black so you can see if there are spiders etc
I love your ideas for your shed, especially the idea for latching in a stack of lumber in which I’m going to incorporate into my shed. Thank you for your video.
In Victorian times they had a saying, "a place for everything, & everything in it's place", makes absolute sense. Also hopefully puts a lid on hoarding!
I've never heard that but I like it. I will say, that I do find myself not keeping and getting rid of a lot more as I try to stay organized. I'm sick of having a mess lol
Thank you and congratulations. It's always fun starting a new shed build in my opinion. The organization is never ending. Glad you found this video helpful.
Legitimately some pretty decent tips. I've owned my house for 6 years, and have a 2 car attached garage and a 1 car detached. Neither is finished (shhh. Let's not talk about "code." There's fireboard on the shared wall with the living space. Anyway...) and I've really struggled to come up with sensible, simple, easy to execute ideas to help organize this stuff. I come up with ideas from time to time and they rarely work out as well as I'd like. One day I'll splurge and get a really fancy system, maybe. Meanwhile I'm gonna do a lot of these ideas you just shared, since I have about every thing you do (plus some things) and desperately need good ways to store them. I especially love the screws in the packout labeled and with bits. I have been looking for an excuse to buy that type of packout box, and I have the labelmaker already. Rock on man!
Thanks for watching and I'm really excited that you found this video helpful. I actually was going to buy the Ryobi link system to help organize the shed here but then when I realized how much it was going to cost I started thinking outside the box so to speak which helped me come up with this idea. Good luck on your organizing. I hope it goes well for you. Those packout type organizers with the removable bins in my opinion are one of the best organizational things you can use. I've got one set up for plumbing, even all my picture hanging hardware. They're just so useful but I only get the ones that have the removable bins.
@@allmycarsisbroke 100%. I had initially thought the Ryobi Link would be cost effective until I started looking at what I needed and how much it was. Plus those systems are made for like a huge wall that is open. My shed for example it just wouldn't be very efficient for space or money.
Great video gave me some tips too, organize my garage. Liked the organize tray for screws. Always walking past them in the store thinking I don't need it yes I do I will pick up one just for that reason . Thank you
You're welcome! I'm glad you liked the video. Yes, I'm always looking for new organizational ideas and love it when I'm able to help other people with the same thing. Thank you for watching.
Excellent work, Tex. I like how you just used lumber and parts you had laying around. So often you get the Handy Dan routine where he has a huge shop full of every woodworking tool known to man. Then he slickly puts everything together. Not Tex, he hacked solutions from nothing and ended up with something really practical. Nice!
Thank you. I'm really excited you liked the idea. I'm always trying to save money along with everyone else and shed organizing is one no one wants to put a lot of money into lol I like to try and repurpose a lot. I actually built a small wood shed out of mostly old deck boards from a deck that had to be taken apart but my recording of it was so bad that after 10 hours of trying to fix it with editing I think I'm calling that video a loss.
If you can ,insulate a small metal shed on the outside using treated pine fence palings, relatively cheap and looks rustic, but with the practicality of the galvanised metal still on the inside
Thank you! It definitely took me awhile to figure out exactly how I wanted to do it. It's always fun getting your shed organized. I hope yours goes well and good luck. Thanks for watching.
Thank you. I didn't do any thing special just 16 on center. I had some 2x8s I had gotten for free a little labor involved as they were used, so instead of ripping them I just built the trusses out of 2x8s. I tend to like to overbuild stuff so the shed is built pretty stout.
Thank you and I'm so glad you liked it. Your the first to say so lol I'm also excited, this was my first big video like this I published. It's defiantly a learning curve trying to figure out the best way to go about it.
@@tgltoday2717 It definitely is! But you did an amazing job on this video. All your sound levels were perfect, while maintaining the casual feel of a smaller channel. It was wonderful to watch and very engaging!
@@keinushi Thank you for that feedback. I just got a new wireless mic. This was the first video I did with it so I wasn't sure how it would work out. I did a few shorts with it but nothing of any length. What really got me worried was after I filmed the entire video, I watched one section and the mic cut out for some reason. You better believe I was worried lol but luckily that was the only spot.
and then a tree falls on it after you get it fixed up lol. Thats what happened to ours and now i gotta redo the roof and rebuild half the stuff insiude it.
Thank you. This was one of my more exciting videos to make that I was hoping people would like. I currently don't have anything special in my loft. It basically stores the winter stuff in the summer and summer stuff in the winter. It's like a jig saw puzzle putting all the summer stuff up there. I need a bigger shed lol If I end up doing anything up there, I will defiantly do a video. Thanks for the idea and for watching.
Man, tell me about material of your shed. Is it sheet metal made of? Becouse mine looks like the same. So, I wanna know does it hold all theese screews? 👍
It's just regular steel you'd put on the roof of a barn. I don't have anything screwed into it. It's just screwed into the framing of the shed. Everything that's built in the shed is screwed into the framing or the floor which would be how it's attached.
I'll see if I can get one done this spring. Right now there is snow so I don't think it would be the best review right now lol I will say I'm very impressed with what this weed eater can do and I'm very glad I ditched gas and went with Makita.
by the way, the picture is my wifes, by the way im not to savy with computer but because you are just like one of my boys, idare to send you the comment, you are great
I am going to report you for being AMAZING! Thank you so much for the world’s record for tips in one enjoyable video.
Haha! Thank you! I'm glad you found it helpful and enjoyed it. It was definitely a fun project for me to do.

The best tip [my fav] (and most unique) was the lumber storage hack. Very good idea.
Thank you. I think that's probably my favorite as well.
Awesome! I'm a girl with a new shed looking for ways to make shelves between the studs. Thanks!
You're welcome! I'm glad it helped.
Love your shelving ideas as I'm just setting up my new 2x4m shed .
Thank you and congratulations. It's always fun starting a new shed build in my opinion. The organization is never ending. Glad you found this video helpful.
The snow shovel hack was brilliant.
I’m going right out to my shed and doing this.
Thank you👍
You're welcome! I'm glad you liked it. I thought it was pretty neat too when I realized it would work so great.
Great idea 💡 about your most used tools and bits and pieces, we've all got our favourite ones
Thank you and yes we do.
Fanatic tip for the wood pile. Thanks for sharing.
You're welcome. I'm glad you found it helpful.
The tip for putting in the rake was the best
Thank you. I'm glad you found the video helpful. Happy Thanksgiving.

@@tgltoday2717 Isn't it absolutely wild how much all the cool "systems" cost? It can run up in the thousands for a very normal sized garage

Awesome, I have a small garage and how it is set up is not great, going to use some of your ideas and try to sort my garage out.
That's awesome to hear! I'm so glad you found my video helpful. Hope your garage organization turns out exactly how you want it to.

The Leaf rake holding device and the snow shovel 2/4 handle.👌
Thank you. I'm glad you liked it.
I love how organized you are. Best video I've seen yet...
Thank you. I love organizing. I wish I could keep it that way 😃
Love how you did all of this simply and without buying expensive hanging systems! You're funny too 😂
Thank you. I really enjoyed making this video and figuring out ways to organize the shed.
boy, you and i think the same way, and yes they also calll me crazy!you are great
Thanks. I'm glad to hear you like this. Yes, I figured there were other's out there that like to organize like I do.

Serveral idea to organize, control, but I like the tall 2x4 that secures your wood pile, if I had to choose 1. New subber.
Thank you. When I came up with that 2x4 idea, I was pretty proud of myself. Not going to lie LOL
