@Sunshine X You're tripping. The animation wasn't that good, especially by JoJo's standards. This is also the first JoJo part that was not animated by the A team, and on top of that, it didn't get any polished/fixed scenes in the Blu-Ray release.
I have to admit the ost in stone ocean is really mixed. Some of the character themes are baller and yet they only play a few times although I think stone ocean gets a bit more hate then it deserves. It was a pretty good adaptation for the most part it just sucks it came in batches.
@@emperornefarious5273 yeah the important ones but I think the main point was there’s was a lot more variation, and the reason it matters in jojo is because Jojo is known for its amazing music and osts. For example if you look at the other parts there is tons and tons of osts.

I bet they are saving all the budget for SBR. The rest of the parts in the anime seem to follow a pattern when it comes to production. Parts 1 and 2 weren't too crazy with their quality while Part 3 was super expensive. Part 4 toned it down so they could put more focus on Part 5 (Japan's fan favorite part). They might be doing the same thing here with Part 6 and 7. I bet part 7 will be amazing. Part 6's low budget is probably more noticeable here because of the unexpected arrival of Covid. (Edit: just realized that this video is mostly referring to music and not the whole production. Nonetheless, my point can still apply here.)

@@vanbanderholme3170 well bru ray hasn't been as profitable nowadays as it used to be, so there isn't really an excuse to make those changes since not as many people see them.

Cope huh? You've got to understand that with every part comes characterization of the way the main protagonist fights and how they frame the world. Jonathan was a gentleman, Joseph was a trickster. Jotaro was a rebel and so on. Jolyne's character is a blank slate which they fill with all kinds of wild nonsense to suit the moment I don't see how it's wrong to point such things out. After all people desire to attribute value to things so they can frame their understanding of it. If part 6 is confusing, there's really not much left to the argument For me, it's a turn your brain off kind of experience. Mind you, it's the part I find the most amusing, but I really have to suspend disbelief just to go with it. Which, when held up to the other parts, doesn't follow the same standard of quality in storytelling. This weakens it's ability to stand out in its own I guess you could call it cope, but I was made to be this way. If part six had a solid theme that I could latch onto, it would be a different story
@@bas.m the soundtrack is a little overused but it's really engaging so it's ok imo. The music director did a pretty good job. i think the animation is the problem
Some of the scenes you just showed have some of the best animation on the show, except for maybe the first two. And as for the soundtrack please actually watch the show, thank you.
I haven't realized how terrible the animation of this arc is, I hope they put more love into the animation of Steel Ball Run, being the best arc of the entire franchise. It has nothing to do with the damn horses. I mean everything, the action scenes, expressiveness, flashbacks, the final climax. I want to see something more than just a color tracing of the manga.
"yeah its used a lot but its one the best soundtracks" ok, name 1 track that got reused this many times in parts 3-5. I don't understand why people are so hell bent on trying to negate any criticism towards how Stone Oceans anime was handled and trying to pretend so hard that it didn't get the short end of the stick. Yeah, focusing on the positive aspects is good, but also stay in reality. that being said i think budgeting has nothing to do with the music editing. i think they just did a lazy job of picking the music. especially now that the full ost is out proper and we see just how much yugo kanno had composed for it
Yes, but considering that each series of 2 and 3 packs supposedly took DP 1-2.5 weeks to produce, that might be an excuse since that's an incredibly short time frame
I think this comment was aimed towards me. At no point did i say that the anime has no flaws, i'm in fact very disappointed that we didn't get the same quality that Part 3 and Part 5 had, but that won't stop me from praising the stuff that was actually done well. And to answer your question about overused tracks in each season: Abyss (Season 1), Decisive Battle (Season 2), Cornered (Season 3) and Incursione (Season 4).
You dont need a new soundtrack for every tense scene
Your right but variation would be nice especially since we got a lot in past parts and they were really good.
They could've used underrated soundtracks from previous parts and I wouldn't have even known and would've still like it.
