One great place you missed is the Boatyard beach club. Look it up. Best place to spend the day. We spent everyday there and it made our vacation. It's got a fun party vibe and your entry includes a drink, meal and snorkeling tour with 3 stops a different wrecks. Snorkeling is great right on the beach and they have a pier with a rope swing and dive platform, floating trampoline, floating slide, floating iceberg for climbing. This place has the best beach on the island, just walking distance from the Radisson.

There's nothing better than seeing happy beautiful people in Barbados. Please tell me: What year was that that there were poisonous snake in Barbados and those mongoose seen in your video? I live there for 25 years and had never seen a poisonous snake nor any of the mongoose seen in your video
@@TheMattJames There have never been poisonous snakes in Barbados. The mongooses were brought to control the rat population which were harming the crops (sugar cane, cotton and tobacco), as a result they killed off one of our only snakes, which is the Thread Snake and only seen very rarely as a result.
Hi Matt, really great travel video of Barbados. I’m on the island 1st Feb 2022 for 14 days with my Mum and her husband (treat from me for a shit year and to celebrate her birthday!) We are all slightly nervous about travelling around the island due to COVID and was wondering how you found things once you were out of quarantine and able to get out and about?
Ahh you’re gonna absolutely love it! I think the restrictions have changed since I went, so you should be alright. I can highly recommend the trips and tours that I went on, so if you want a smooth ride out there, join one of those!
I was thinking about the Soco hotel. Was there any music playing at the pool? I have done all inclusive in the DR before n the soco seems a little older crowd and quiet.

It’s more like playing African music and showing nigeria…yes all of Africa has different individual sub cultures, with slightly different sounds, but as a whole the music is representative of the region. There aren’t any poisonous snakes in Barbados. That was simply B-roll to help illustrate to the viewer what mongoose are.
