Larry! Wonderful picks here. Great selection on the Grand Funk Railroad. I love that question because so many artists are popping up that I didn't consider. I had a feeling Sparks would make an appearance... but that is a perfect choice for Art Rock. The Beatles is a great choice for genre bending.. they really did do everything first. Glad we showed the same Marillion album.. Clutching is so great. and Wow! I knew you loved Tales but favorite? I love that. There is also few things more proggy than a vocal kitty, so extra points there! Great response Larry and thanks so much for doing this! I'm adding it to the playlist on my channel with the others. You're the best!

Thank you. I only have one cat, by the way. Jinx sadly passed away a year ago.

Great video Larry. You brought up plenty of greats. Days of Future Past, Squires Fish, etc. I've read more than once that several people think Yes picked up where the Beatles left off. I can see their point and don't disagree. Jon's first solo record, "Olias of Sunhillow" is very good. Another great is "1000 Hands" and his Christmas record "Three Ships" is wonderful! When you showed Yes' debt cd, I noticed Mittens perked up. You have a very cool cat there. I noticed one thing in your video and, I think in the comments below also. I saw no mention of Emerson, Lake and Palmer? ☮

Love ELO’s Eldorado, The Moody Blues Days Of Future Passed & Sparks Propaganda. Abbey Road is a MASTERPIECE, Nuff Said!

On The Silent Wings 🪽 Of Freedom is in my Yes Top 10 songs list. From the unjustly maligned Tormato album.

Larry, when I first heard Yes I thought these guy's are phenomenal musicians and I still feel that way but I don't listen to them,I bought the album Fragile because I loved the song Roundabout and I thought these guy's are on another level, just incredible but aside from Long Distance Runaround I didn't care for it,I'm a pop guy, progressive rock as good as it is bores me and yes the Beatles started everything,Sgt,Pepper was the first concept album and in my opinion the beginning of progressive rock and because of their pop sensibilities what they made was more commercially listenable then what later came to be known as progressive rock. Tag means „day“ in german so I thought its something like a beatles/prog „fest“ (another german word haha)

Sparks At Home At Work At Play sounds very prog to me.
The song Song Of Seven by Jon Anderson is very beautiful and is like a journey with all its changes.
Premiata Forneria Marconi River Of Life is Italian prog in the style of King Crimson.
Le Orme Figure Di Cartone is a good Italian prog song for old farts.
Tony Kosinec All Things Come from God is prog for Christians.
Bee Gees Every Christian Lion Hearted Man Will Show You sounds a bit prog.
Korni Group Generacija 42 is the only time prog manifested itself in Eurovision Song Contest.
Modrý efekt Čajovna is instrumental prog.
Jordsjø Solens Sirkulære Sang is dreamy prog with a hint of Genesis and Yes.
Lobo Come With Me is an element of prog from a pop artist.
Grateful Dead Estimated Prophet has a time signature that smells of prog.
Nancy Sinatra & Lee Hazlewood Some Velvet Morning is what happens when country goes prog.
Gary Lewis Jill has a touch of prog before prog.
Saft People In Motion is a rock song with clear elements of prog.
Sandy Coast Just A Friend is also from the time when rock sounded like prog.
Electric Light Orchestra Hello My Old Friend is a long prog song from the 80's.
Yoko Ono Walking On Thin Ice has a sense of prog.
XTC Complicated Game has a prog feel to it.
Roxy Music Sea Breezes is a bit of art prog.
Sage Malone Masquerade is true 80's prog.
Mike Oldfield Ommadawn is folk prog.
Socrates Drank The Conium Queen Of The Universe is a bit mysterious prog produced by Vangelis.
Renaissance Rajah Khan is atmospheric prog with Annie Haslam testing her voice.
M Official Secrets is new wave prog.
Kitaro & Jon Anderson Agreement is new age prog.
Queen Tenement Funster is hard hitting prog.
    Änglagård Jordrök is 90's prog.
Camel Missing is nice 80's instrumental prog.
On The Silent Wings Of Freedom is my favorite on Tormato by Yes.
Tales From Topographic Oceans by Yes is one of my favorites too.
