I'm new to this too, but just got really excited by an article I read by John Orlando, Phd. called Save Time and Teach Better with Screencasting. I am going to explore this as a way to do what Skip does. Maybe it can help you too. Good luck!

Great that you are interested in screencasting. Screencast-o-Matic (.com) is a nice place to start--free and easy to use. If you want to do more, check out the superb ScreenFlow (Mac only) or the somewhat less superb but still very good Camtasia Studio (Mac and Windows). Good luck!

Does one have to be a connectivist to buy into this PLN stuff? After viewing this video, I feel overwhelmed!!! Why do there have to be so many apps in a PLN? Can't we have just one tool that does it all? Some of these apps are not available anymore. What happens when my PLN is gone, and along with it, my support network? It just seems to me that there is too much time spent learning the technology and not enough time learning content.
