I just want to THANK YOU Lee!!!! Wow, I've been a teacher for many years and try to explain things simply. YOU, my friend, did an OUTSTANDING job explaining this!!! KUDOS to you!!!!
Truly fantastic job man. Even though I'm already familiar with wiki's I was curious to hear your explanation to the uninitiated. I'm very impressed with the way you were able to provide a simple, real-world example without having to dumbing it down. There are brilliant people who are totally inept as instructors despite being experts in that field. IMHO you clearly have a gift.
wow! this is amazing! I'm watching this in 2021 and find it soooo creative and engaging to have been done 14 years earlier! Hats off to the one who created and developed this video :D
I would not describe myself as computer illiterate but definitely not computer savvy. This video answered any questions I could have. I'm glad to learn whenever I can. I personally think that more people should watch instructional or simply informative videos to make their lives, as well as others around them, easier. Thanks. Very nice and simple.
This is one of the best tutorial presentations I have come upon. I think I have learned more from this one video than trying to figure out some of the common denominators one finds in all the so-called-guru ads on how to make money and the steps needed to get yourself started. Thank you! Let all those "bird-brains making ridiculous comments crawl back from whichever vegie-patch they came from"
That was a great basic tutorial. Love the quickness of the presentation. It was to the point and certainly not boring. Very good for beginners to understand the concept. I hope to find more in depth Wiki tutorials from the same Guy using the same quick style. We're learning Convergence Wiki that is a lot more complex at work so I'm excited about all that's available to learn from. Thanks very much for providing this.
Thank you for this excellent explanation of wiki and how it works. Love the clear, simple way you demonstrated wiki, Fun, fabulous, fast learning tool!
Wiki is a very nice way to organize information amongst a group of people. With the use of wiki, information can be saved in a clear manner & wouldn't take as much time as emailing would. Wiki is a very interesting program and seems essential for sharing data within a business or just a group of individuals wanting to share information.
One of the most frequent questions about wikis is whether or not older versions are preserved, a version that one party in the collaboration may have preserved. With that one additional question answered, this would be a perfect explanation.
Of great help to this somewhat older guy. I am required to make a wiki page for a class I am in. Thanks to you, the process seems to be simplified. Now I am off to do it. Thank you!
This tutorial was well planned and presented in a sequential manner. I am grateful to you for making what I thought was difficult to understand, was really quite easy. I am so happy that I was successful at this task. Now I am ready to open my account.
Most excellent! I had no idea what a wiki was or that there were such place on the web that you could do such things. This explained it well in an entertaining way. Thank you!
AH-mazing! Thank you!!!! I am a teacher wondering "what is a wiki" and "how can I use this thing??" You have answered both questions SIMPLY and concisely. Now... off to try it out!
This is a great explination. I remember 8 years ago several of my mates put up a notepad document in an editable section of our school network in a similar manner. Of course the more people who found out the more people used it and eventually several people were editing the same document at once and comments were lost. Good concept, but flawed somewhat flawed the more it gets used.
ZEEMKE... also this kind of videos from PLAIN ENGLISH are also very useful for people like me who don't speak english as a main language.. thay are very easy to understand and to learn
That was a great video that was easy to understand! I really like the presentation style which I may borrow for Power Point presentations that I often do fore school and work. Again, a fantastic video.
