God can save you however he sees fit. If you were saved under one circumstance, that does not by any stretch mean that everyone else is saved the same way you were. What it does mean is that it is the same God who saved both. Everyone is different and what pricks one person's heart might not prick another's. So God does what only God can do.

You're absolutely right-the Christian life is challenging, and that's why we can't live it in our own strength. It's only by God’s grace that we can walk this path. When we rely on ourselves, we fall short every time. As Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 12:9, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ In our weakness, He gives us the strength we need. It’s a daily reminder to depend on Him fully!
@@angloaust1575 amen. Yet Paul writes to be sorrowful and always rejoicing - therefore enjoy suffering knowing that your best life is COMING in God’s promise
No one seeks after God. It is God that has chosen His sheep. John 1:13 tells us that it is not of the will of man nor of flesh, but of the will of God. John 6:37 tells us that ALL that the Father sends to His Son shall come to Him. We are born in sin, dead spiritually. God has to awaken our minds in order to understand and believe in Jesus as the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world for our sins. We continue in a dead state until God makes us alive in Christ. Then God does a wonderful work in us that He chooses. Romans 8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
I hear the term "gospel" misused repeatedly. Here is another example. What it the good new? It is Christ in you the hope of glory by the spirit, the water and the blood. 1 John 5:8. Without the indwelling, you are not saved. Romans 8:9. Check your oil. 2 Corinthians 13:5.

I love Jesus with all my heart but everyday I battle with sin, no matter how much I try to stop, my sin is impatience, angry and frustration because I am weary at looking after my mother who has dementia and feel emotionally drained and I just explode, I feel so guilty and terrible and repent everyday about this and ask the Lord to set me free from these reactions I feel but they won’t go away, I hate acting this way as I am a Christian and Christians aren’t supposed to be that way. So feel spiritual failure and weakness. Jesus have mercy on me.😢
If you believe Jesus blood paid for all your sins past and future and that His resurrection gave you eternal life, then you are permanently saved, and you have overcome the world. Don't let the devil rub your failings in your face. Jesus paid it all and He will never cast you out.
Seems the walk is not easy for any of us but God helps us and keeps us. You might get through one thing and find another thing to work on. Take heart in this because God makes us aware of things and tackles them with us. He wants us to go to him when we lack strength. He wants us to lean on him when we need to and grow to trust him in all things. Trust in who he is. His love; his mercy; his teaching; his ways. In our weakness his strength is made perfect and in knowledge of our current shortcomings; it is easier to be humble before him. Take it to him in prayer. Again and again. Keep obedient. Walking ever forward. Learning to trust him. I believe you will break through :)

I disagree it’s the hardest, because it’s the most fulfilling! Hard yes, but life without Jesus and His righteousness given to us can be much more difficult.
The only thing you need to do to be saved is to trust in the finished work of Christ (his death, burial and resurrection for your sins). Nothing else is required for salvation. Period. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."

Amen! I was definitely blessed. Thanks for that message! Question: Can a person be regenerated more than once? I heard Paul Washer state that you can in one of his sermons. I can say from experience that you can but I'd love to hear from you personally that that is true. I can't seem to find that video where Paul Washer states that about regeneration.
Amen! I'm glad you were blessed by the message! Regarding your question, regeneration, or the new birth, happens once. It's a one-time act where God gives us a new heart and spirit (Ezekiel 36:26). Once God regenerates us, we are spiritually alive and permanently transformed. Paul Washer speaks of the evidence of regeneration in our lives, showing through continual repentance and sanctification, but this process (sanctification) is different from regeneration itself. Sometimes, preachers refer to ongoing transformation in our lives which is evidence of regeneration, but biblically, regeneration is a unique, once-for-all work of God. Hope this helps!
Christ has forgiven (Saved permanently) those who have believed in His name all sin past present and future. Our endeavor to learn and grow in Christ (only possible via The Holy Spirit) opens the door to his blessings here on earth. If we fall into a sinful lifestyle again God is there waiting for us to return so He can restore our (Relationship) with Him not our (Salvation) that is already sealed forever. We can do nothing apart from God !
Could it be if we fall into or walk into ongoing deliberate sin that we were not saved to start with? Especially if it goes on for a few years...that happened to me and it has caused me to wonder if I was saved even though I really seemed to be.

These words were spoken by the apostle Paul who referred to himself as the chief of sinners, and said I know that in me, that is in my flesh, dwells no good thing (Romans 7:18) We are all in this fight together, but accepted in the beloved (Ephesians 1:6)

The "washing of regeneration" of Titus 3:5 occurs during water baptism. Because of the shed blood of Christ during water baptism, the Holy Spirit curcumcises our conscience, removing the guilt brought about by wilful sin and restores' it to its' original childlike innocence. The word " regeneration" in the new testaments' original Greek means "to return something to its' original state." The original state of our conscience is that of an innocent child. This makes what occurs as the result of our obedience to repent and be water baptized being " born of the water" in John 3:5. The writer of Hebrews states that under the old covenant that the blood of bulls and goats was ineffective in dealing with " consciousness of sin"( Hebrews 10:1,2) which is guilt. Thus, their sins were only covered, resulting in the Spirit of God only occupying the Holy Of Holies temporarily. This resulted in the rights having to be repeated each year. The blood of animals couldn't deal with the guilt resulting from wilful sin, but the blood of Christ did and does. Now, the Holy Spirit can dwell in the " temple" of the believers' body on a permanent basis.
" make disciples of all nations " ( Matthew 28:18-20 ) This is the recording of Christ's own physical words given as a command to the very men He Himself made into disciples! The command comes to us through the downline of their obedience to the command. John 14:15. I am a follower of Christ Jesus, Luke 9:23, I witness of Christ alone in this world Acts 1:8 Yet I, deserve not even one, accolade for that fact! Christ alone has gifted me the grace and faith to be those things in this world that God still so loves! ( Ephesians 2:8-9, John 3:16-18 ) I have been made a disciple of Christ Jesus by that same gifted grace and faith! Both in my discipler and me. Our full obedience, ( John 14:15 ) to " make disciples of all nations " answers the prayer to the Lord of the harvest to raise up workers for the fields ripe unto harvest. Putting feet into ministry not just butts in pews. Equipping others for the work of service. Ephesians 4:11-13, 2:10, 2 Timothy 2:1-2, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, John 15:1-8.
I think this man is causing such confusion. The Lord Jesus Suffered And Bled And Died at Calvary. HE CRIED IT IS FINISHED! The work of salvation was complete. We cannot add or take away from it. Thank You Lord Jesus all we have to do is accept your gift of salvation. It is nit of works lest any man should boast
You won't get many likes in a comment section like this one. In here, it's very heavily works based. If you "don't have the works, you probably were never saved." THAT'S why they're false. Works vs. Faith. The just shall live by faith, not live by fruit.
Hazel, I am going to be very careful with my answer. Please trust me, someone you do not and will not know, when I tell you that I mean you no harm. Everything that you know about Jesus, you learned from the Bible, or, indirectly, because of it. You need to read it again, carefully. Sproul and Washer are not confusing, or confused themselves, and they are not wrong. “…all we have to do is accept your gift of salvation.” You wrote that. And other people will read it-human history is already changed because of what you wrote. And what you wrote is absolutely unbiblical. When our Lord said those three words he was speaking about what He had just accomplished, not at all about you or me, what we would do in our time, or refuse to do. R.C. Sproul is a masterful teacher. He recorded a series of lectures on Reformed Theology. Be patient with your self. Watch them all.
The problem with bible doctrines believed and taught by the churches is this Calvinistic doctrine of regeneration. Do Christian churches know they are all believing in extreme teachings? Well, they don't agree they indeed believe in extremism because each church believes standing on the truth. But the Lord Jesus Himself prophesied His churches are affected with leaven. Matt. 13:33. Extreme teachings are countered with another extreme teachings. But at least Christian churches are believing in the same Jesus Christ and the same Holy Spirit under grace system of mercy and truth.
The gospel comes to the MIND..you must understand the FRACTURE in your relationship with God. The FACTS of the gospel are a SERIES of Truth Propositions to Natural Born liars. Liars about God and TO God. The gospel is Corrective, it Speaks a DIFFERENT Truth. And it offers ONE Solution : The blood of Jesus Christ. The gospel is LIGHT to the 'darkened understanding'. If God, in His Mercy - an absolutely Free prerogative of God - DECIDES to give the gift of Faith...then 100% of the time : God's gift of Faith results in Salvation. The darkened mind now has OPENED CURTAINS with Light of God's Person and Work, Truthfully cascading into the recesses of previous misunderstanding... And the Heart is changed, the seat of desires : the heart. Desires begin changing. Directly and in relation to God's Propositional and expositional Truth in the Bible.
I've never heard a pastor say, come to Jesus and your problems will be over. If they do they don't know the Bible BUT YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A "REFORMED CALVINIST" TO KNOW THAT!! Come on R.C. you should know better. 😖
Your sin is definitely no lighter then mine. But the way you justify it and rationalize it are totally different. We see a thought and reap an action. We sew an action and reap a habit. We sew a habit and Reap character. We sew a character and Reap DESTINY…

"Truly" saved, as opposed to what? Reformed preachers sounding just like Catholic theologians. Who could have imagined? What next? Why not teach purgatory as well?
@@amandawhite4590 Those are the ones who try to justify themselves by the "good" works they have performed. Not the ones who trust in Christ for their salvation.
@@thinkerj no. The parable of the sower. Only one outright rejects the gospel. 3 claim to be saved, only one has the root of Christ in them. Many claim to be Christian- and are not. It’s the Lords business to separate the goats from the sheep. The bad fish from the good. The wheat and the chaff. You cannot claim to be a Christian and live like the world, there is no such thing as a “carnal Christian”. What is salt that has no flavor? Worthless. You will know them by their fruit. Work out your salvation with fear and trembling.
@@amandawhite4590 That was a strange reading of the parable of the sower and what you are writing has nothing to do with the Protestant principle of sola fide. You do not even know what "carnal" means from a biblical point of view. That parable clearly says that two had no faith at all ("the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart", "the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful") and one had a short-lived faith but quickly fell away. So your statement that "3 claim to be saved" has no basis whatsoever in the parable. Christ said that all who believe in Him will not perish, but have eternal life (Joh. 3:16). I trust those words.
The predicate term for this video “truly saved” is not biblical. It is nowhere found but in the minds of turgid Calvinists. Just ask Steve Lawson. Romans 8:9 and 2 Corinthians 13:5.
At the time of the crucifixion, when Peter denied the Lord; he was not infilled, was not a new creation, was not a regenerate man. However, Peter did have the truth written on his heart. Every person born of flesh, that is in Adam, that is a natural man/person, has within them a standard of right and wrong. You do not have to be a new creation to know you need to be a new creation. Ok Paul Washer @11:30ish God spoke through the gospel….this is a LIE. Please don’t be stupid, don’t be taken in by a liar. What does scripture say concerning the natural man? Before you’re saved, if you are saved, each of us is a natural man/person. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. The word of God in scripture is not meant or able to save anyone. Here is what it is intended to do. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that (the man of God) may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. (NOT the natural person…… the one that is already a child of the adoption) These men at the least don’t know anything about salvation, and at worst are deliberately misleading for financial gain. Then how are you saved? I am going to tell you and ask nothing at all in return except that you dig deep into what I am saying here to know if its true. Here is Romans 10:17 as translated by The New International Version 17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ. Romans 10:17 - New Century Version (NCV) 17 So faith comes from hearing the Good News, and people hear the Good News when someone tells them about Christ. Romans 10:17 - American Standard Version (ASV) 17 So belief cometh of hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. Romans 10:17 - 1890 Darby Bible (DARBY) 17 So faith then is by a report, but the report by God’s word. 15:00 Washer is unaware of the contradictory nature of reformed doctrine here. Evangelicals are in a fish bowl filled with introspection, sin and judgement. They spend lots of energy getting their audiences to believe how sinful they are, falling short of God's glory etc, in order that they seek God's grace alone for salvation. Think Luther's simul peccator et justus for example. "I'm a sinner saved by grace". "My works are dirty rags", "No distinction, all have sinned", "Evil". etc. Its basically a dead faith - cheap grace position. Then some occasionally read passages in the bible, like those quoted here and argue transformation from a prior sinner-spiritually dead state, life long repentance, necessary evidence of good fruit etc - contradicting the primary message above, by implying there ought to be a distinction between those with a living faith and those who are dead in their transgressions. Not being aware of the following which Luther could not solve. ‘It is difficult and dangerous to teach that 1) we are justified by faith without works (your a sinner needing God's grace) and yet 2) require works (your transformed so we expect a changed lifestyle) at the same time.’ (LW 27.62)
@@LetterNumber6 Yes, and you can tell who the righteous are by their works. Jas 2.21 - Abraham was justified *by God* by his works in offering up Isaac his son.
That’s not what he’s teaching. A truly regenerate heart shows through how you become a new creation-once someone is born again. Your fruit is evidence of salvation. That’s what shows in a believers fruit. A believer has a different relationship with sin. The fruit is evidenced by their “works.”
Your not saved until you reach the end because as it is actually written on the pages of the Bible for all to see, "those who persevere until the end will be saved". This means the protestant non biblical and anti biblical doctrine of once saved always saved is heretsy.
It's better to be a sinner than a Pharisee of works of you want to be perfect go and sell all and follow me Jesus said false preachers a believer is saved by grace alone and leads to works of love liars
Sproul has really messed this up. When you are regenerated by the Holy Spirit, you receive power to live a holy life. Sproul's understanding of Romans 7 is wrong. In Roman's 7, Paul is speaking about his struggles in the flesh, under the law, not as a Spirit filled Christian.
"When you are regenerated by the Holy Spirit," I'm curious as to how you can be sure there actually is a Holy Spirit? is there any credible evidence you can provide? Thank you.
@@shab7271 "you understand when you do wrong," I disagree. I know when I do something wrong yet I don't believe in the holy spirit. How do you explain the disparity? Is there any credible evidence you can provide to prove there is such a thing as a holy spirit? Thank you.
@@TboneWTFThe credible evidence is both Biblical and experiencial. Read the Bible and it will tell you about the Holy Spirit and then pray to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Its a narrow path and few find it.

Jesus have mercy on me.😢
Fight the good fight. This world is really cruel but by faith and trust in God you will get through. God bless you 🙏
If you believe Jesus blood paid for all your sins past and future and that His resurrection gave you eternal life, then you are permanently saved, and you have overcome the world.

Calvanism is a lie, The Grace if God through Jesus Christ is truth.
The "washing of regeneration" of Titus 3:5 occurs during water baptism.
Because of the shed blood of Christ during water baptism, the Holy Spirit curcumcises our conscience, removing the guilt brought about by wilful sin and restores' it to its' original childlike innocence.
The word " regeneration" in the new testaments' original Greek means "to return something to its' original state."
The original state of our conscience is that of an innocent child.

If we are all sinners, as many have said, and Jesus paid for it, then why should any bother with fighting. Is your sin any lighter than mine?

(NOT the natural person…… the one that is already a child of the adoption)
These men at the least don’t know anything about salvation, and at worst are deliberately misleading for financial gain.
Then how are you saved?
I am going to tell you and ask nothing at all in return except that you dig deep into what I am saying here to know if its true.

‘It is difficult and dangerous to teach that
1) we are justified by faith without works (your a sinner needing God's grace) and yet
2) require works (your transformed so we expect a changed lifestyle) at the same time.’ (LW 27.62)
