@@springoflifeeternal Yes, that's how I have sometimes felt, hearing preaching from someone who seemingly has everything together - and I know I struggle daily. But like I said, I was actually comforted.
I am grateful to say that I am a born again Christian and have been since I was 19.......yes indeed i enjoy listening to this dear man of God Pastor Paul Washer and I much pray God's peace and comfort on him and his family each and everyday and that God uses him and his ministry mightily to much glorify and lift high the king of kings and the lord of lords!!!!!! to God Be All The Glory!!!!! Great Things He Hath Done!!!!!! and all hail king Jesus!!!!! the king of kings and the lord of lords!!!!!! however folks these days are getting darker and Christ is coming soon and if you don’t know Christ as your savior then it burdens my soul to think that you are headed for a terrible place called Hell where the Bible says the fire is never quenched and the worm dies not! Folks you are not promised tomorrow! If you want to know how to be saved from this horrible reality then please by all means don’t hesitate to comment right back so I can lead you to the savior! 2 Corinthians 6:2 clearly states “now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation!” And Hebrews 3:15 clearly states, “Today if you hear his voice don’t harden your hearts! it is not me but the Holy Spirit that I pray reveals to you the truth of his precious gospel......John 3:16 says for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes on him will not perish but have everlasting life! V 17 says then V 18 says whoever believes on the son is not condemned but whoever does not believe on the son is condemned already because he has not believed on the son whom God has sent! Also Acts 16:30-31 what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house I am not threatening anyone but just warning them what will happen if they reject this precious gift of eternal life! Christ died a horrible criminals death! He was beaten brutally mocked spit upon and endured countless hours of torture pain for all of our sins! Ppl go to hell because they reject that pardon for their sins! And Jesus is saying to them in Matthew 25:41 depart from me you cursed into everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels! Hell was only prepared for Satan and his angels! It is not God who threatens anyone it is the craziness of rejecting the free pardon of salvation! It’s like if you’re in court you’ve committed a crime say you murdered someone! Now if you say to that Judge hey I know I’ve done a terrible thing of murdering that person but I hear you’re a good judge and so I know you’ll be fair to me...... the judge is going to reply well yes you’re right about one thing I am a good judge and because I’m a good judge I’m going to see to it that you’re punished and that justice is served! Well then all of a sudden someone you don’t even know comes forward and says you know what I know he’s committed the crime he’s committed and he deserves to go to jail but I really don’t want to see him go to prison so I’ll just go to prison for him so he can go free! So if you accepted that offer you’d be free to leave the courtroom but if you didn’t well you’d be crazy and go to prison yourself! Well that’s exactly how it was 2,000 years ago! He is God in human flesh and he came to this earth lived a perfect sinless life and even though he knew that we had sinned and because of our sins deserved to die miserably but he said no I don’t want to see them suffer so I will go and take their punishment for them! Even though he did absolutely nothing wrong still he chose to take the punishment for our sins so we can be set free from the power bondages and consequences of our disobedience to God! Romans 5:8 says For God commends his love toward us that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us! 1 John 2:2 says he was made to be the propitiation for our sins! And not just for our sins but the sins of the whole world! 2 Corinthians 5:21 He who knew no sin became Sin for us that we would be made his righteousness! The truth is if you had to get to Heaven by your own effort then you cannot do it! Because Romans 3:10 says there is not one that does good! No Not One! Romans 3:23 says For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God! Romans 6:23 says For the wages of sin is death! But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our lord! But the good news is Romans 10:9 If we confess with our mouth and believes in our hearts that Christ died for our sins then was raised from the dead we will be saved! V 10 For it’s with the heart we believe and it’s with the mouth confession is made unto salvation! God gave us 10 commandments to follow and we’ve broken every one of them! And because God is a good God he cannot allow our disobedience to him to go unpunished! Well then like I just mentioned above his son Jesus stepped forward and said no I don’t want to see them punished so I will take their punishment for them! And also like I said he died a terrible substitute criminal’s death for us on a cross so now all we have to do is accept that payment for our sins and we can escape the terrible wrath of God that is to fall on them who do not accept this atonement that was sacrificed for our sins! Praise the lord Romans 10:13 says Whoever calls on the name of the lord shall be saved! And 1 Peter 1:4 you’re an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you! Christ clearly said in John 14:6 I am the way the truth and the life and no one comes to the father but through me! Acts 4:12 clearly states that there is no other name given unto Heaven or earth by which we must be saved as there is salvation in no other! Jesus clearly states that there is clearly only one way to Salvation and it’s him that’s it! There is no other way! God Bless everyone who reads!

I'm going through a really hard time in my faith and sanctification, sometimes it seems that this battle will never end, but I can relate with what Paul said, that even our weaknesses show us the love of Christ, and that was very helpful, God's grace is everything
Read the word hours and hours a day it will recuse you. I found the hardest points in my life regarding faith was when I was neglecting his word and prayer.

Couldn't agree more. As the years go by I realise more and more how much of a wretch I am and how much I need a saviour and how grateful I am and in live with Jesus as a result of that... thank you Jesus.
I feel so convicted :( I often am not motivated to obey and follow because of Christ's love for me, but rather because I want things to go well for me in eternity.
It’s all about Christ. There is no ‘going well’ for you in eternity. If you go to heaven it will be glorious beyond anything we can imagine. It’s all about Him, loving Him, obeying His word and giving up all of your earthly desires for Him. You must take up your cross daily for Him. There’s nothing you can do to earn anything. Read the word, study the word and focus on Him not your life.
Conviction is good, for repentance is required but remember the purpose for those who “Believe “ is to glorify God through our lives…..Be watchful, to make sure you are not tares for they will be separated. Amen.
@@laveanniaburton3480 I think you guys misunderstand. Maybe I'm expressing myself in the wrong way. I believe with all my heart that I was born again, that Christ called me out of darkness into His marvelous light, and that I am walking in newness of life. I was merely expressing how I aware I am of how much I fall short; in this case, often having a desire for escaping hell more than a desire to actually be with Christ. In this sense, I want to be able to say that even if there were no hell, I would still want to be with Christ as opposed to not existing so to speak. We must also remember 1John that if we say that we have no sin then we are liars and the truth is not in us. I struggle, like all of us should, just like Paul did. We must encourage one another.

I so understand what you are going through. I’m a Christian and I’m so scared of going to hell. I love God but I’m not really good at love and I fall short in so many areas of my life. I’m scared of hell and I can’t believe it’s either heaven or hell. Hell is torture and why would God who is so loving inflict torture on his children. Mum is so good to me and helps me so much but it appears because she is a non believer she will be tortured. I’m not understanding how this could happen to mum. I’m so worried about everyone’s destiny and it’s easy to get motivated about that because of the fear of hell. I don’t want my family or me to be tortured and sometimes I think God is so strict that I worry I’m not going to be good enough for heaven ☹️

I think about Jesus each and every day since the day I was saved in September of 2012. I my soul mourns for him each and every day. I love his word and I have repented from each and ever sin that was in my life. Thank you God for your son Jesus and the Holy Spirit!

There is a great motivation to learn of Jesus Christ visiting Ancient America reading and studying 3 Nephi Chapter 11 in the Book of Mormon. Ezekiel 37: 15-17 in the Old Testament teaches that there are two sticks or records one for Judah and the other for Joseph!

Thank God for how He uses Paul Washer. I would LOVE to read his 4000-plus pages of notes on the cross and hope he publishes them someday.
What Paster Paul said was very true. We should always look upto and fix our heart, mind, eyes to our Lord and Saviour, not to even the most godly men. Cause there is at least a slightest chance for men to fall, but not Jesus Christ our King, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I have utmost respect to preachers like Paul and wish that every Christian and non believers have such pastors/leaders.
If you are holy in the church but no one would be able to tell how faithful you are outside of church, then be at risk of professing an account not pleasing to the Lord. Love, and be bold, be confident in Christ, be in prayer for everything, be a good example, a helping hand, a merciful neighbor.

I dont get it? Paul keeps saying jesus died fo you, but i keep being told that jesus is alive, he is in heaven doing his god things... So jesus is not dead... It seems more like he took a nap (maybe a painful nap) for our sins.
When Paul says Jesus died for you he is emphasizing the fact that He bore our sins on the cross, this is what He means in saying “It is finished”. “When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, “It is finished,” and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.”John 19:30. Jesus was in the tomb 3 days and rose from the dead to fulfill what He said beforehand of what He would do, to show that death cannot conquer Him, and show us that we too through Him can be risen from death to life. “Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” The Jews then said, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will you raise it up in three days?” But he was speaking about the temple of his body. A *calvinist* approaching a person to preach *his* “gospel”:

As a non-calvinist, I can clearly see that you have no idea what the Gospel is. You clearly believe that people are deserving of forgiveness, they aren't deserving of anything, not even in the slightest. Read Psalm 14 and Romans 3.
Even *_if_* Christ didn't die for everyone, He was never obligated to die for anyone at all to begin with. God's love is shown through the fact that God allows the guilty sinners to continue in this life instead of removing them from the face of the earth.
Calvinism doesn't even touch the Gospel. None of Calvinism’s doctrine are connected to the essentials of the Gospel. Calvinism exclusively has to with how the Gospel is applied, but it does not change the Gospel itself.

Every time I hear a reformer preach, I just keep thinking that he actually doesn't believe Jesus died for the whole world, as John 3:16-17 clearly states. Reformed theology is false and anyone who preaches reformed theology is a false teacher. God's love should not be diminished by man-made doctrines like Calvinism.
