(He sent me it for free) The set costs $290 which in the world of custom LEGO sets is pretty fair considering it has 1,368 pieces. Actually, they're not. If you look at the parts list and put them in brick link, you'll see the price is well above what Timmy is charging

For that price and for it being display, I’m really really disappointed with the designer just place a mini figurer rifle to serve as a turret. That just looks janky really. The turret for the back is okay, I don’t agree with the use of the mini figure binoculars buts its okay just that rifle looks cheap compared to the good design overall of the tank.

for the back roof that wont close when the figure is seated in the chair, the hinge pieces used for the top rear turret can be raised by one stud and than allowing the trooper to sit in the chair

I love how he gives so much leeway to Timmy’s model for not having it tested for the back panels to close but I’m sure that if this happened when LEGO designed it he would go ballistic. I can just imagine him using rants like “unacceptable that LEGO doesn’t give us what we want and now this” or “this just goes to show that LEGO really does hate us”
To be fair, LEGO is a gigantic company, and Republic Bricks is one guy. I generally get the feeling though that Ryan isn’t that satisfied with any of these customs, but is being nicer because he knows the guy.
@@TheGW923 I can't even blame Ryan for feeling dissatisfied, though. These custom models suffer from Timmy's unwillingness to build test what comes out to be a very expensive set.

I prefer the 2016 lego turbo tank. I have one myself and its really fun to play with. However, the hinges to opening the main part to get the walker have gotten REALLY squeaky (I think I have to oil them).

I saw the photo on republic bricks instagram and saw the shelves and knew this was coming. Looks awesome!
Honestly I feel like with a lot of Republic Bricks designs he just took the official lego sets and modded them. Especially with this set and the gunship.
And then charges a lot more...

The color schemes he makes aren’t very good in my opinion, I respect him for building the sets, but your not going to have an all blue colored republic gunship . You may have blue accents, but that’s about it.

The color scheme is nice and I agree with the sudden shift in color but it kinda makes sense to fit the 322nd helmets, good build

Hello there Ryan, just want to mention that we all probably prefer this type of Ahsoka custom turbo tank but I personally would like to see a full custom 332nd turbo tank with mini figures that are fully orange and absolutely no trace of blue/501st markings, so I can use it in 332nd made up mission Mocs in clone wars.

The wheel issue can be fixed with a large conveyor belt piece going around the axles on the tires and half rob pieces connected to the wheels connecting to the conveyor in the middle hole allowing the wheels to move but stay aligned the only problem being that the wheels would have less range of motion
They also wouldn’t turn, as wheels move at different speeds than others when turning

I wouldn't mind seeing some clone wars models in WWII themes. Like an ARC-170 with the colors of a Japanese zero bomber. Or an olive green and tan walker

Pretty nice colors; would say whoever thought of putting the crows nest feature in front of the machine gun was an idiot. Just saying, with the playability portion the gun between the crows nest tower is bad; other than that, just see it to be way expensive for that set price for piece
it looks way to similar to the 2016 turbo tank. the main difference is the interior and wheels, which are both easily modded.
