The fact that: A: Its an affordable Custom Set B: includes 10 minifigures C: Battle packs makes an effort to get mostly new pieces This puts battle packs way ahead of Republic Bricks
I've never seen a MOC selling for under what LEGO would charge. I guess the only thing you're missing are the new pieces but the 10 clones make up for it
The top looks pretty dang good, and I like that they managed to get in some more mechanical looking parts between the wheels, but holy cow the moment that popped up on screen the narrowness just blew my mind and I can not get past how goofy it looks.
I can tell its heavily inspired by the 2016 turbo tank but thats not a bad thing imo since they did improve on some of the details. They really should have made the wheel area wider but its pretty solid besides that. The 2016 turbo tank goes for around 200€ without the box and compared to that price its probably the better option. I wont be getting it since i already have 2 of the 3 official lego models but its definetily not bad
I personally own the newest turbo tank Lego has made and this set just improves on it also giving you a lots of clone. But the Lego version has exclusive min figures that give lots of value to the set in my option it is better to own the battle packs turbo tank but I can understand it could be hard to later on sell this set.
should have compared it to this last years atte for size also mod the tires if it’s just a technical pin should be easy enough, love the review and the model though!
i feel like an extra 2 studs in width would have done the wheels justice but yeah my only real complaint for the this custom set is that it just looks like a caterpillar cause of how narrow it is.
Well in the sense that you get custom builds not from Lego with the parts and not just instructions yes! But here you actually get custom service instead of “I didn’t mess up F you” from RB
My gripes with the set are that 1: it's WAY too small. The set is based off of the 2017(?) Turbo Tank, which was definitely not big enough. 2: due to being based on that set, it has the same flaws. When opening up the sides, EVERYTHING comes off. The 2005 and 2010 versions were better at this due the cockpits and main doors opening separately. 3: as you said, the wheels don't stick out far enough That's really it.
Tbh the top part looks really good but the bottom half looks too skinny, the wheels don’t stick out as far as they should This was commented before he talked about it in the video
Good as this looks for the most part unfortunately the narrowness of the wheelbase is a deal breaker for me as it rly hurts the look imo. Also personally I'm not a fan of including figs in custom sets I think it's better to just leave it up to customer discretion.
Pretty cool bit I like Legos touch more and different kinds of figures instead of a lot of 1fig and I like the Lego one more then this but this really good audio and video great job
The builds on their website look pretty good, but they are way over priced. They are charging 30 dollars for what would be a 15-20 dollar battle pack, sometimes with only 3 figures instead of 4.
I honestly don't understand the business model- how can they make anything selling it at such a low price? 1000 new Lego pieces + 10 minifigs for 170... Knowing they have to pay for taxes, packaging etc etc they cant be getting more than a few $ per set
It looks decent but it definitely does not compare to the 2016 Turbo tank. It honestly feels like a major downgrade. It lacks what made the original so great: playability. The scout tower is just a stick you put on the top, which is just super lame. On the original it could retract and go back up. The lack of suspension is the biggest issue: that was honestly the best part of the turbo tanks released before it. I also think the old ones looked better. This just feels cheap.
Those are all valid points and mostly true but this is a custom set the main focus is accuracy in terms of appearance and detail not necessarily playability

Yes! Just got ripped off by republic bricks for a mid set and this looks so much better!
where is instruction for turbo tank
he increased the price and now has no figures lmao
Finally a custom set that I can actually afford
Frrrrrr, and they’re high quality
This is actually awesome. Feels like a big middle finger to republic bricks
A rightfully earned one, too :)
@@ewanwickward8587 I’ve personally never ordered from him, but from what I’ve heard you are correct
What happened with Republic bricks?
@@chrisramirez4249 They scam and also are anti-semetic
@@chrisramirez4249they are just grossly overpriced
180 feels like what lego would probably charge for this set minus the 10 clone troopers. They would probably only include 5 at most.
I've never seen a MOC selling for under what LEGO would charge. I guess the only thing you're missing are the new pieces but the 10 clones make up for it
It reminds me of the 2016 Turbo tank but a lot more refined, it looks pretty cool
Im pretty sure that the structure and the base of the panel are the same
@@artyg1654 that’d make sense, it was a good set. I liked it a lot.
I love how this set actually includes enough clones to fit the turbo tank

Try replacing the currency wheel axles with longer technic rods, that’ll make the wheels stick out more.

Just purchased looked too good to pass up, and Legit clones Sounds like an amazing deal
Battlepacks and GCC are carrying clone wars fans rn
That’s what I was about to say lol
omg im gonna save my all money for this
Dang this is actually a insane custom set. 180$ is crazy. I def think I would be this

FOR THE REPUBLIC!
This is insanely good for the price, especially with those minifigures.
so this is nothing like republic bricks???
Nah
It’s way better

I like the thin wheel look
I'm always super you don't have around 50-250k subs. You make amazing content!
I love these custom set reviews
Can't wait to get the Imperial version I just ordered.
Excited to get my gunship 💪💯🔥
Yeah bruh I ordered mine on the 12th of February and it hasn’t even shipped, the shipping label was created but that’s it

Very
This is how lego should do minifigures

I may be getting this
The description of the set is “in the show this was there”
I love your videos, but I already have the 2005 one and I no longer collect lego.
But still an awesome set
Do they ship to Europe though?
Yes we do 🙏
Super rad custom set
Great review man!

Cuold you please compare it to a Lego one
Its pretty rad!
Love the build it just NEEDS to be even 1 stud wider on each side would go a long way.
It looks like the turbo tank microfighter but bigger haha

It's a cool model, but why is it so skinny? Did someone leave it in the trash compactor for too long?
Pretty cool bit I like Legos touch more and different kinds of figures instead of a lot of 1fig and I like the Lego one more then this but this really good audio and video great job
Dang I gotta build a turbo tank
I like this build, but the middle section looks too clean while the back section looks more rugged because it has studs showing
Just got the last one😂🎉
How long does it typically take for one of these to arrive I just bought one and was wondering if it’s like republic bricks wait time.
Skip to 6:57 I forgot to mention it in the beginning
@@fivelonelyclones thank you great vid can’t wait to see the review of the gunship
Sorry if I missed it but they use actual lego pieces in their sets? Mixed of new and used parts?

The tank's head must turn, but it turns out that the body and head are one continuous part, as a result the tank is deprived of maneuverability
180 sounds like a good price, but it's 250 in Canada
Well if you put $180 into a money converter it comes out to 243 Canadian so that makes sense
@@fivelonelyclones I'm more complaining about the conversion rate than the price, Canada's economy isn't doing that well
Has anyone gotten any custom sets from these guys? I ordered in April and they have yet to ship anything…

Do they ship to the uk? 🇬🇧

the instructions is on bricklink

Are these official Lego pieces?
Yes
Well the only Thing is the shipping cost of 25€😂
