Well for my two cents, I have always held it in firm belief that trading stability for appearance is not a good sacrifice. When I make mocs, (and I do so quite a lot) I tend to follow Lego's own style, by implementing as much detail as I can, while still maintaining fundamental stability and functionality. When you don't do that, you more often than not get models like this, where they're great until you want to actually hold them, then they crumble in your hands.

The fact that they don't build it with actual pieces before selling it is a massive problem and I think most of the issues would be resolved if they tested the build properly before selling it. I mean hell, before they start selling it they should just send a prototype to you and then you can just do a review for the prototype and then it's kind of like advertising for the next new model they're releasing.
I do think it’s bad of them to not put more care into the instructions, and not to build the model to test it. I design MOCs, and spend hours making the instructions so they’re clear to follow. And whilst I don’t have the parts to build an entire MOC, I do build each section individually to make sure it actually functions. he wont, most sets he sends out are missing pieces and the price point is 3-4x the value of the parts cost. 75% of the price is profit for him, MOC's do not cost this much to make.
There is so much issues with this set, they didn't built it once and they sell it for 500$ without checking if there is issues, just like that? Oh my god, they really need to improve on that...
In my experience, most new lego brick will look scratched right out of the bag if you look closely. They’ve been dropped into bins, moved around, taken out, put in bags, stuffed in boxes which have then been stacked and shipped by trucks before being put on shelves and finally brought home by you. Pretty much any time they are moved they will grind against each other and form micro abrasions. Of course with a real set you have the option of requesting a replacement part if you think the piece is damaged beyond what’s reasonable.
Ive seen some scratched but its very very rare, especially to a level like shown in this video, its clearly been used for years. Also, theres like 4 different shades of blue ans 3 shades of grey it looks really bad and disappointing
@@Fives179 i think it honestly depends, if you get bulk pieces or pick a brick per say generally a fair few will be pretty scuffed because they usually sit in a container or bucket until they run out, whereas set pieces are all new, idk how the lego team does it but they somehow keep set bricks in perfect condition but not seperate pieces

Are you from Quebec? Your name sure looks like one from there to me. Also, your profile picture is from Montréal's hockey team.
@@darthrevan6130 No i'm not from Quebec.
@@privatecheems9808 I fixed it, I meant vacation in the first place.
Why wouldn't they build it before sending it out first
Hi mandrproductions, you a greeting from Mexico !!!! I love your channel!!! 😁
Oh my god that’s the most epic looking mtt I’ve seen holy crap I’m very jelly I need to build this
ABOUT BLOODY TIME MATE
Republic bricks > lego
To help make pieces look new separate them from others and use a small butane torch on a low setting and do a quick pass or 2 with it and it will make them look close to knew and get rid of any discoloration.
Yo I have never been this early btw love you’re videos Ryan
If you shove the bars on the guns in a bit more so the top bar connects with the technic pin, you should eleviate the issues with them falling off. Pew pew pew!
Great video 😊👍. I think I want one🥰
A dream that Lego may never do
I feel like that Bank Truck is accurate to how much money this feels like to some people.
The door might not have caught as easy if you didn't have to add that row so the teeth could catch. They do a great job with these designs for the most part but you'd think they'd build them at least once to see what all works and doesn't work and to make sure the instructions work out and aren't confusing.
wow this MTT is amazing!!!!
Hey idk if you remember me asking the question, "Whats a set that you want to come out but don't think will ever come out or something like that. And you answered the clone wars style MTT. I thought that this set actually came out from the thumbnail lol
Ask Mandr: out of the summer2021 wave of lego sets which one would u recommend to buy the most?

Ryan destroyed this thing in the review
Actually those round pieces do exist 😏
When are we getting the Clone Wars SuperTank?
Bruh Lego is just giving us nothing for like a year and then they Release very good sets so we buy more of them cuz we think for Lego standards they r good…and then they gonna do more crap waves and so on thats their marketing strategy…so you probabky have to Wait a few more years
@@samparker3515 nah man, Lego was never gonna do the Super Tank build themselves, it's "too obscure" for them. I meant when are we going to get a Custom build, that model from Lego Star Wars 3 is looking pretty fantastic.
@@matthewmatthew981 ok sorry xd
@@samparker3515 Have you seen those awesome builds from the Lego Star Wars 3 game? If you could have one which one would you have?
