I just got my MIJ12s yesterday and I was surprised how light they felt for being a 16oz denim. They had some nice features that aren't on their regular jeans but I paid $294. I totally I agree that the strong suit of N&F are their unique collaborations and "out of the box" ideas. To me that is perfectly fine and they fill a unique niche in this small world of selvedge denim. They make great content on YT for the "raw denim" community as well. Great video!

Weird guy fit is the best fit for me! I don’t agree with the gimmicks they do but the fit is perfect for me. If iron heart made this fit I would buy more iron heart
I agree with you about the weird guy fit; if IH made this fit, it would be almost perfect jeans
I have 4 pairs of n&f Jeans . Imo they are pretty decent. I still prefer SD and strike gold but N&D offers some diversity and also offer some with some stretch which is nice to have in some instances.
SD and Strike Gold are different leagues. You are right that diversity is the strong point of N&F
I would love visiting the factory or their store and check all the models. It would be so hard to choose a pair 😂

Sometimes I soak the denim, but usually, I wear it as it comes and yes they bleed a lot but its ok for me
N&F are my favourite denim company. Their 'Weird Guy' fit is perfect for me. Unlike you, I am not a fan of their themed cartoon pants, although I do concede that the denim material they choose for those runs are very unique. I actually believe that is the main strength of the company; they are unique in the world of denim for the wide variety of experimental denim; Hemp, Kashmir, waxed denim, scratch and sniff, super-slub...etc. They have by far the widest variety of unique/experimental denims of any denim brand.

I have their left hand twill in the weird guy fit and I like it a lot but I think I could have gotten one size smaller. So, I dunno how I’d feel about the weird guy fit if it were more my waist size. I’d like to try their true guy fit.
The problem is that these jeans stretch, and the second problem is that they are vanity size. Check the measurement charts before picking a size 👍👍👍. In terms of fit, if you choose the right measurement, you will be ok. I always try different fits and then decide which one makes me feel more comfortable.
@@UrbanLadUK Yes, I had gotten them in the same size as my unbranded jeans assuming that they would be the same size because they are essentially the same company. By the time I realized every N&F jeans might be sized a little differently the fades had already set in. Anyways, I just got another pair in the weird guy that are my size and while they fit the waist I'd say the top block just fits. I am wondering if I would want more room and might try a different fit in the future.
