Como lavas ? La chaqueta? 😅
No la lavo. Con un trapo humedo la limpio, si la lacas pierde toda la cera y se arruina la chaqueta 👍
Have a Bronson. Pretty accurate jacket. Not alpaca lining, but looks about the same. Wool blend. Cord shell.
I don't know how the products hold in the long run, but they look perfect for the price tag
Eh eh ehh ehhhhh
🤣🤣🤣🤣 good point
You remind me of the Taylor from John Wick.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 Thank you!
Is this 13oz denim?
Yes!!
i have purchased several tshirts and a few chambray and denim shirts. the only garments i have that are of superior quality ARE ALL MADE IN USA OR JAPAN AND ALL COST 3 TO 4 TIMES THE AMOUNT. anyone who hates on bronson is a posturing moron. there are much better alternatives but nobody is offering what they are within the price range and the brand itself serves as a litmus test as to who may or may not be a cunt within the denim community
This looks great on you one day I hope to own an iron heart. I recently picked up a gap 1969 selvedge denim jacket for a bargain. I have to say it is better than I thought, really nice.
Thank you! The GAP 1969 was an excellent line, Japanese selvedge; I own myself a couple of jeans that I found as a dead stock
I love wrangler I have a pair of bootcut as well as my selvedge collection.
Wrangler is a Brand that needs to be kept an eye on; it is affordable and has a good piece of clothing 👍👍👍
Entonces whitesville es mejor que merz b?
Las dos son de excelente calidad, pero Whitesville gana en precio calidad
Man, these are gorgeous. I'm curious how they compare to the non-Hikaku in dark brown version that's out there. I think I prefer the darker heel finishing on this version.
I choose these boots precisely because the heel looks to me smarter compared to the other models
I've got the oni denim loopwheeled shirt and I think it'll last a lifetime. Commenting because I love your submariner haha
Thank you!!!!
Not a fan of the Schott branding on the left chest which did they put that there?
That was my first negative point for Schott, but when you wear it is barely noticeable
Hola, Diego.
the problem with wrangler is that these 100% cotton cowboy raw version is only available in USA, in the UK they are stretch and pre faded
Hi! I bought these jeans from USA through Amazon.com (us website).
That is regular straight?
Yes!!
@@UrbanLadUK samurai or iron heart with regular straight sir?
Samurai regular straight
Hilarious, I was just holding a pair of those yesterday at a local boot outlet! Didn’t try them on, but maybe someday.
😉
Entertaining review - as always, especially because of the reminding of your youth! 👍
Thank you!! These jeans are part of youth and have an special place in my heart
They say theyr better quality than regular Levi’s plus theyr the real thing in the bull riding industry PBRs Wrangler is related to tradition and bull riding and Levi’s is related to hipsters and city boys. Different worlds.
Since I recorded the video I have been wearing these jeans, and I´m very happy.
@@UrbanLadUKthey seem very comfortable, Very far from breaking in some IHs 😂
🤣🤣🤣 they are, you know I find more difficult to break in the 25oz from Samurai
@@UrbanLadUKeven harder that the 25oz IH?
Yep, I find the IH more easy to break in, the Samurai against the skin was tough
I have over 15 pairs of the Wrangler Cowboy cut jeans, most of them the 936 (slim fit), but they are absolutely perfect and amazing jeans!! A little tight at first, but after a few wears, they break in and stretch out nicely
100% I will try 936, are on my list
Thanks for the informative video. I'm planning to buy one as a late autumn/early winter jacket I can do a little Christmas travel in. Maybe layer with a light packable down jacket inside if I have to when the temps are around 0-5C. The relaxed fit should make the Beaufort work, yes?
Yes, my combo is a down vest and it works well 👍👍
@@UrbanLadUK would a down sweater be too tight in the sleeves?
@@alvinpatrick I think so
@@UrbanLadUK would you say a third party down vest makes more sense than getting the Barbour liner?
I have both, and I believe that a 3rd party vest down is a better option and you can choose one that you like in my case, Uniqlo and Under Armour down vest are great warm and stylish, with a turtle neck jumper is a winner
I recently got a pair of the 17oz ultra slubs They're great and I can't wait to have them faded so I been wearing them extra The only thing I would change is making the coin pocket a little bigger silmar to the flatheads and momotaros
I agree with you; the coin pocket looks like it is decorative
Did you pay any customs charges or duties to get them to the UK? Or any currency conversion charges from euros to gbp? Thanks!
I bought these jeans in Spain, but there are import duties if you order from the UK and cost more than 135 pounds.
Great video, I did not expect such a comprehensive review!
Thank you!!!
I don't know why your channel has not been well-known, yet! I truly find your videos are informative and useful before I purchase any of your recommend garments. Keep the good work, sir!
I've just purchased their Logger boots for work, and I agree with you that after wearing Nikes and Adidas most if my life, I'm definitely not used to the high arch and it's a little harsh on my feet. I'm told this will get better soon... Hopefully 😅 If they become more comfortable I will surely buy the contractors next.
Be patient, when you break in your boots there is no way back 😉!!
what's the name of the store you purchased them from?
I bought it from Bears Japan, but is sold out most of the sizes, other option is Red Cast Heritage that they have most of the sizes and difference in price tag minimal
Great Video Diego, I have the Buzz Rickson “William Gibson” Black Chambray Version . The sizing seems to be on point with your measurements . In my experience, It’s seems all their measurements are on point with what is referenced in their sizing charts .
Thank you!! It is good to know that there is consistency in the measurements; it gives reassurance to others who want to buy BR
@@UrbanLadUK yes I like consistency too. I think the most inconsistent sizing is Ironheart though they have specific measurements for all their shirts and jackets , if you simply are buying a jacket or shirt in a different color it’s a different measurement .. it’s crazy 😆 but I love their products and will always prefer them over any other brand. Keep up the great videos and good reviews. Have you ever reviewed Triple Aught Design products?
Thank you. It is true about IH; that’s why they always advise checking the size chart. I never check the AD brand 🤔
China is improving its quality no doubt at all
I believe the same, but I will wear this and let's see how it holds the test of time; I already washed both twice and held well 👍
@@UrbanLadUKI believe no matter the quality heritage consumers and denimheads will continue buying Japanese made products. I’ve no data, just a belief. I know quite a few that gave it a shot to Chinese items but stick to Japanese “traditional” brands
Very in-depth video. Thanks a lot.
Thank you for watching!!
I appreciate that Bronson strives to maintain quality in their manufacture but the two A1 jackets I tried (about a year apart) both stunk to high heaven. The first I immediately returned but the second I gave it every chance. Had it out in the front porch off gassing for a few weeks, no change. Just for the hell of it I washed it cold, no change. Then I washed it hot, no change. Not sure how the leather is processed but I wouldn’t wear something that is so resistant to aggressive cleaning attempts.
The main question is how the tanning process and the leather that they use. Thank you for sharing your experience; this is the only way to share knowledge, and therefore, we can have more information before buying from this brand or any brand. This is one of the purposes of this channel.
Great video, thank you. Where do you get the chambray shirt without the USN initials please?
It is on the website of Bronson, available now and cheaper than the USN version
@@UrbanLadUKah thank you. I have been purchasing from Olderbest because they ship from the UK. I'm not sure it's the same shirt as it doesn't have the chain stitch run off?
Buy from Bronson directly. I have done it, and it is safe and free of taxes. The version without a stamp have no chain stitch runoff and cost $36
@@UrbanLadUKI've just seen on an Iron Snail video on t-shirts that Olderbest is the same company as Bronson. Worth taking a look
I’ll take a look!!
I am interested to see how the pieces hold up after several wears and washes. I've read reviews saying that buttons fall off, collars lose shape, etc.
I will post an update after a few wearing and washing; I already washed both 👍
I think this is a very good topic and I appreciate your honesty. Overall I agree with your conclusion, if someone wants to get a good quality heritage style piece of clothing but can’t afford the Japanese repro prices then BMFG is a good alternative. For some people spending $100 on a tshirt is just not realistic. I think the only concern is the labor practices since it is coming out of China.
Not everyone can afford to spend a lot on heritage clothing, and this brand gives you the chance to buy what you like. Ethical manufacturing is something that each of us weighs in our decision to purchase a product. I agree with you
It’s not, team bedale here. For slim cut I prefer SL bedale
I tried SL, but the sleeves were too short for me
Thanks for the vid. I've almost purchased from them a few times but was hesitant.
I must reckon that the experience of shopping from them was smooth
I have many of their t-shirts. I really like the fit of the athletic t-shirt. That said, I am concerned about how little information is available about their labour practices. Like yourself I have no way of knowing what their labour practices are bit I'd just rather find companies that are more transparent about it. So I'd like to move away from Bronson with future purchases but it's kind of hard to take a gamble on an expensive Japanese shirt not really knowing how it will fit on me.
The quality is good, and the price tags are excellent for what they offer. Japanese repro is top-notch, but the price tag is painful. It all depends on the budget and the sizing because the size of the Japanese brands tends to target Japanese body measurements. In general, if you are a big lad, it could be a problem. The key is to take measurements and compare them with the size charts before buying anything
I have the usn nª1 navy jacket from Bronson and its very good
It's good to hear about your experience with these brands!!
very nice.. I just bought the iron heart chambray shirt in the same color.. I wonder how they compare. The fit looks the same as the Iron Heart XL
The IH is more like Large in Bronson in the western cut, the work style is a tad smaller than the Bronson
Hello Is matchless London still in Buisness?
Is out of business since the death of the Managing Director in March 2024 is the only information that I have
@@UrbanLadUK thank you for that information
Thank you. It was very interesting. I bought Bronson few times and very impressed of quility/price. Also i can recommend Sauce Zhan - chinese heritage brand
I'll check on that brand!!
Nice review mate... Just one question, if it was to choose between a Logger from Drew's and the Builder Pro from Nicks, which one would you pick...?! I'm a boots guy since my adolescence, so very used with the toughness of the leather sole and overall leather feeling. ;-)
Nick’s Builder Pro all the way. The construction is flawless!!!
@@UrbanLadUK So Nicks would be...! 🤟Thanks a lot mate for your answer and time.
Just subscribed. May I ask a question. I hear they are wind proof is that true??? Will they block the wind??
Thank you!!. The shirt is not technically windproof, but as a shirt, it is compared with similar shirts. Aspero cotton has been used in Peru in the mountains precisely for its characteristics for centuries
i want this
It is worth it!!
If I'm 22" armpit to armpit. What's my ideal size?
If you have 44 inches in the chest, the XL is the best option because it gives you room for layering. The XL has 24 inches armpit to armpit.
@@UrbanLadUK but in my case I think the sleeves will be too long.
They have a classic fit, can you make a review f those, I don’t like slim fit to me the classic fit or cut is the only way to go, thanks
Sure!!
Great video! Very useful for me! It was important for me to understand their size guide
Thank you!!!! I’m happy that it was helpful 👍👍👍👍
Куртка хорошая, но не совсем понятно, для кого их шьют? В плечах и низ нормально, рукав и куртка большая длина, по груди мало ¡
First I'd like to say your videos are very well detailed and well made and what's the most informative for me personally is the measurements of the garment which you do on every piece. It definitely helps a lot. Rarely do other reviewers do this. So I live in Las Vegas and our "harsh" winters are basically NYC's April spring weather, lol. So for us a 12 oz spring jacket is the best!! But yeah, for an XXL jacket it's pretty slim. I'm 6'1 185lbs and I honestly prefer a boxy fit with 25" pit to pit width jacket and fitted jeans. Looks good on me. Anyway, keep up the good work my good man.
Thank you for watching and for your kind words; they mean a lot to me! The problem with most Japanese brands is the sizing, and sometimes are not the correct dimensions for Western consumers
