since the weather is getting hot, let us make sure not to point out someone's:
    -scars
    -body hair
    -cellulite
    -extra skin
    -loose skin
    -tummy rolls
    -stretch marks
    -self harm scars
    -dark underarms/inner thighs
-hijabs (asking, "Isn't it hot wearing that?")
    -acne
    -eczema
-vitiligo/other skin conditions (people may just not understand them)
    -how much weight someone's gained
    -how much wight someone's lost
If it's not something they can fix in five minutes (smudged makeup, food in teeth, messy hair), then don't point it out. It's rude and none of your business...

Thanx for including self harm scars, it’s really rude to ask about something that is obviously connected to a very painful time in someone’s life and if u are forced that often to think of that time, that is really annoying and hard 😒 and like u said it’s none of anyones business

Notable to also mention the Perricone MD CCC Ferulic is a 2oz bottle as opposed to the 1oz bottle most brands use. It’s a really good value for a quality product and one of my favorite Vitamin C products to use. Very effective and it gives me a nice dewy glow. Beware though this one doesn’t mix well with everything. It usually pills depending how I use it. So either apply it and give some time to sink in or use it mainly on its own meaning excluding other serums and oily sunscreens.

My mum uses La Prairie moisturizing cream and I can't believe how this woman can waste almost $600 for a f*ckin' cream. On the other hand, I use The Ordinary, Cosrx, By Wishtrend, Axis- y, Cerave and LRP. My mother has a beautiful italian skin but I think she's genetically blessed because she's not a big fan of sunscreens (only in summer and spring). I really don't understand how my relatives freaking out for wasting money on luxury skincare brands when, in fact, you can get a flawless skin for less money 🤷🏻‍♀️

Back in my home country I most used Cetaphil, Vaseline, Etude House, Missha, but as I do not have those brands readily available to me, I have been using a lot of french pharmacy brands like La Roche Posay, Avene, and Bioderma. But after they've been importing CeraVe, Paula's Choice, Garnier have been using CeraVe Moisturizing Cream, Paula's Choice sunscreens, and Garnier micellar water and sunscreens more, and they definitely have been saving me some money, especially Garnier. Also adapalene. Even if I cannot find The Ordinary's retinols, I can buy adapalene at any pharmacies here so for my acne actives I am good.

      @cv3083 ปีที่แล้ว +3

Elevated expenses are associated with a company's R&D process, not simply the raw materials to make the serum. Skinceuticals is the leader in this regards and they are the reasons vitamin C serums are wildly popular and nearly every skincare brand has their own version. Whether you want to buy Skinceutical's vitamin C serum is for the individual to determine but you have to give credit where credit is due. It's cheap to make a serum but to develop a solid formula takes a solid team with brilliant minds, huge funding and a state of the art lab. It's the equivalent of saying why buy a designer dress when Fashionova or Shein is making the same thing... the raw materials are cheap. The design process is what you are paying for.

    • @20thcenturyrelic
      @20thcenturyrelic ปีที่แล้ว

@@cv3083 Too much to read… gotta run so I skimmed it. I agree w/the process of some. I worked in a ‘high-end’ co. It was expensive but the almighty dollar owner sent the same product to ‘affordable’ aka low end co.s as well. They just slapped their own label on the product and changed the sequence of ingredients on it bc, , tho most think it’s simply the order of ingredients… scrambling the order differently is allowed aft a certain percentage. True, some co’s take ‘process time’… still, sadly, just like a used car salesman… aft the women walked out w/their lavish purchase, the owner would slighly grin + say, I saw her comin.

For those wondering about the Maelove glow getter…maybe Cassandra got a bad one lol idk but I do not think it smells anywhere near similar to the skin ceuticals. Having tried both I think the Maelove smells perfectly fine. It’s not fragranced but it doesn’t smell bad at all. I actually kind of like it. It’s like a faint citric esque because of the ferulic acid and ascorbic but it’s perfectly fine. If you’ve tried the drunk elephant, Paula’s Choice or the timeless vitamin c serums, they all smell alike. The skin ceuticals really does smell like hotdog water, similar to the cosrx vitamin c.

Sometimes you do get what you pay for. You are comparing dermalogica to a products created by a physician who is also a biomedical scientist and has put over 30 years in the field of regenerative medicine. The whole point of the rich cream is the TFC8® complex, which is not just a peptide but a patented technology comprised of over 40 ingredients. Saying that this is a swap because it works better is literally going against what you claim to stand for which is being honest to the consumers. You can’t compare oranges to apples and you can’t make that claim unless you stop being cheap and spend the $290 yourself and then make those claims. Just because something feels like something else does not mean it will give you the same results. I am a single mom of four young kids and on a strict budget but I have saved money to buy this cream because I actually have seen incredible results. Augustinus Bader has earned 105 awards in only 4 years that on itself gives this company bragging rights. I highly suggest you spend the money and use it for at least the suggested 27 days (come on you know you actually can afford it bc this channel makes a lot of money, but you are stuck in your beliefs) before you support a brand that you are stating you are working with over another one (that is clearly better) you should turn and learn like you say because you missed the whole point of why people are willing to spend this money. Anniversary sale
Is coming up at Nordstrom, they usually have an incredible sale on this cream which is when I restock so try it out for yourself before you make these claims. The intensive clinical trials is what made me buy this product the first time but the results is why I love it. Money is not evil and expensive doesn’t mean it’s a scam outgrow that limiting belief because you are passing those beliefs to your audience. Have a blessed one. ❤

It’s insane that you say you can’t afford it but you are making a commission not

But they offered it to me for $150. It seems sketch. Although when they did a trial on my skin it seemed to really work. Please cover this brand!! 💞

I had an idea for a video that I thought would be fun for you & with pride month coming up
I was thinking of making a skin care routines where all of the products were different colors, this is the one I have thought of
Red- skyn Iceland Icelandic youth serum
Orange- beauty of Joseon Ginseng Essence water
Yellow- stratia liquid gold ceramide moisturizer
Green- glow recipe Avocado Ceramide Moisture Barrier Cleanser
Blue green- biossance copper peptide serum
Blue- Peach & Lilly Overnight Star Night Cream
Purple- Truly Beauty Purple Rain Facial Oil
I have combination acne prone skin so I was curious what kind of routine you could come up with. I watch all your videos so I shall repost this on others lol.

Hi Cassandra! Have you tried Cell Fusion C's Skin Blemish Balm Intensive? It's a Korean brand but might also be a good swap for Colorescience as it has good coverage and it covers redness and it's made for sensitive skin. I forget if it has spf though.

Your video’s are the best because you’re animated but real! You’re so funny and you are so gorgeous and hot!! Feel a bit odd saying that but why not, its the truth. Anyway you’ve helped me since I found your videos as at least Im learning things and its fun learning from you. My son took his life and I am still in bed most of the day and night, doing nothing. Though there are a lot of tears and pain. Thanks for these fabulous videos! Im subscribing… now!

Even "verified purchase" reviews aren't 100% trustworthy. I used to write ad copy for a company that sold beauty products, and they would reimburse me for buying their products on Amazon and leaving glowing 5-star reviews just to get that VP designation on the review.
And before anyone gets angry at me for it, I had bills to pay and couldn't find any other work at the time. Here's how you KNOW 100% for sure something is a scam: if you bypass Amazon or any other 2nd party seller and buy directly from the source, and they have some sort of recurring purchase auto-subscription built into the purchase of their product (ESPECIALLY if it's hidden in the fine print), it's a scam and you're buying snake oil.
