I like that she talks a little about being allergic to gluten, a lot of people look at gluten free stuff as ridiculous and pompous but my mother gets so incredibly sick from even very slight cross contamination and she will actually have a lot of skin issues when she gets “glutened”. I think it triggers her psoriasis but it may also be an celiac related issue. It would be super interesting if you could talk about how things like that can affect the skin cause I think it’s a lot more than people think
I see a lot of people in the comments saying they had products that burned and that they checked and it had phenoxyethanol in it…. Phenoxyethanol is NOT BAD just try products with less in it, it’s a preservative that is essential for a good product that is not going to make your face worse so don’t shun it away from your life but try products that have 1% or less in it

The mist was ok, I think that it was good ( or so I think, I’m not sure cause I didn’t read into it cause I didn’t really care for it), so overall, I was astonished by her beautiful skin may it always be that way, but we’re constantly ageing and losing what made our skin once strong, young, and resilience, so she might later have to change her skincare routine due to it being too harsh, and the ingredients did not live up to the price point of these products, but at least she’s currently satisfied with her skincare routine

Hey Cassandra, I finished esthetics school and I have been watching some of your videos! I love them! I would appreciate so much if you could do a video about why some products are so expensive (for example, Billie uses pretty expensive products but their packaging ain't fancy... So we can't blame the packaging for the price...?) Thank you so much, love you, hope you have an awsome week!
HI Cassandra! I have recently discovered your channel via facebook (I have never been a huge fan of youtube) but now I am pretty much obsessed and have been delving deep into your videos and education regarding skin care products. I just recently in the past few years have really begun to be deligent on my skin care routine. I am a huge sufferer of acne/cystic hormonal acne/and body acne... and it has not improved in my age. I did get wrapped into the Rodan & Fields hype and their products have been helpful but I am not super sure how right for me they are (nor if they are truly worth the price) and would love to see some alternatives that you could recommend (if you are willing because I know you hate the MLM companies). I have already made some adjustments to my routine and would love your input. I am truly grateful for all your knowledge and content and as a nurse becoming a nurse practitioner you have made me realize a passion for skincare and dermatology that I had never realized I had.
I "wonder" when I see celebrity skincare routines. So young and spend so much money. I don't want to imagine what they will do when you are 44 years old like me. Well, if I can imagine it. Aesthetic operations... With my age, I love cosmetics, but I use many of the ones that Cassandra recommends and I can buy in Spain and many cosmetics at a very affordable price and great ones made in Spain and countries like Poland that make wonderful products. Thank you Cass for teaching us the routines of these people. They are so much fun and you make them so educational.
The fact she used a reusable pads for her face but also used disposable make up wipes but to be fair she never stated she like to use only reusable products.

Hope this burning everytime I apply these products , doesn't harm my skin on the long run. Please do let me know if I need to stop using these products and avoid products that have this ingredient in them.

Using a vehicle's air-conditioning system increases its fuel consumption more than any other auxiliary feature. An air-conditioning system can increase fuel consumption by up to 20% because of the extra load on the engine.
When Cassandra came her for using a washcloth, i covered my eyes. I recently moved to Germany and the water has been wreaking havoc on my skin and hair. I felt so beautiful when I was in San Diego and had the best skin of my life, and then moved to Germany and experienced acne like i have never before. So I use a microfiber wash cloth to remove my face wash and masks so I don’t use a lot of the water on my face, and it is finally getting a lot better- i tried using just water a few times again afterwards, and I start getting breakouts again. 🙈😅
Cassandra… Religiously would be an understatement in regards to my viewership of your channel. Check my likes… Can guarantee 97% is solely you. First channel that I subscribe to that even before completing watching a video I can confidently hit that thumbs up within the first few seconds and know it’s gunna be enjoyable, entertaining etc. That said; not trying to get first place fanboy/blind follower award just sayin you’re unequivocally such a genuine, intellectual, humorous, great influence/overall, and presence that I’m so thankful to have been shown by the algorithm almost 3yrs ago. 😇😉 xo
Car AC, it depends, once you get to certain speeds, open windows impact the wind resistance/aerodynamics and use more gas than having them closed with the AC on (far as I know). At least that’s what I’ve always been told ahah.
That's awesome!! Have you considered going vegan? It sounds like you're making your way towards that. I noticed a lot of other health benefits when I went vegan (after being vegetarian for a while). You might notice more improvements too. :)

I’m allergic to nickel, chromium and cobalt. They are metals and they can hide in anything. I can have a flare up and then I do a skin test on the things I have used and I can find out what obscure thing I have reacted to. Makes my life an obstacle course.
Thank you for this. I think I finally figured out what sets my face on fire that is in the elf power grip primer. Going to see if avoiding phenoxyethanol makes a difference.
If it’s the same heavy water as in the nuclear industry, it is H2O where the hydrogen nucleus is made of a proton and a neutron, vs just a proton for the more abundant isotope. I would be super curious what the skincare benefit of this is! It is extremely expensive (although in the small amounts in the skincare it’s probably a negligible cost).
If you read the image of the packaging, it actually says 30 wipes. Idk if she's using a wrong image or she said the wrong thing, but i dont think 12 wipes costs $30 lol
I'm a bit sceptical about the "heavy water" - is that just deuterium oxide? If so, I don't see what application it's supposed to have besides massively hiking up the price. It has interesting spectroscopic applications, but chemically it behaves almost identically to regular water, except tasting sweet for some reason. Not saying it doesn't have benefits, but I'd like to have your take on it in detail, if you think it might make for a good video idea~.
Just starting, but saw the video before... I know you are probs gonna mention the makeup wipes, but wanted to remind you that she has really severe tourettes and make up wipes allow us with movement disorders to more safely and clean our delicate areas like our eyes with better control enough to get the majority off; lessening the likelihood of poking our eyes out by accident. 😬 she's also hypermobile, has celiac disease, severe feed/histamine intolerance (dairy), with tourettes and other comorbs associated with a certain connective tissue disorder that involves the letters EDS. And likely the form that involves classical tendencies like very youthful, baby soft, velvety skin. The "beautiful skin" is in her genes. Hence why you relate in more way that not to her. 👀👀
@@graciousssssly she didn't use any of those near her eyes to the degree that the makeup wipes were. 😬 she only went in the areas around her eyes and not into her eyes themselves, like she did with the wipes. No type of reusable cloth will be as delicate and soft enough comparable to a wipe, unfortunately. Coming from someone who wishes for nothing more than to be able to go without wipes, but suffered a scratched cornea after even trying to do so without within the first try. 🙃
Hello, I’m a longtime beautiful butterfly and I love your content. I know you primarily do skincare, and that you have your Amazon lists, but would you be able to do either a video or post with your favorite vegan products (food, hygiene, make of it what you will)? I’m trying to transition to a climitarian diet due to my morals as well as inflammation issues I’ve been having and I’d like to find better alternatives from creators I trust to be honest about them. Plus, knowing your background and the amount of research done for your videos, I’d know it’s healthy and keeping general vitamin deficiencies in mind. Thank you, and again, I love your content! 🦋💕
I enjoyed watching this video so much. U make me smile and make me wana also be myself. Also makes me wana go clean and do my facial routine at 3am. Hahahah
I actively avoid gluten in products. Once I got some hair care that had wheat in it and I didn’t want to be wasteful so I was like well I will use it and I got open sores on my head. I have celiac disease so I haven’t been tested for a wheat allergy because I can’t eat it anyways but my mom is allergic and so I wouldn’t be surprised if I am as well. So yes even if it is low down on the ingredients list it’s still too much and that was with a shampoo that I would wash off. Like I didn’t even realize it had wheat until I went through my new products to figure out why my head had sores on it. On top of that I have issues with fragrance. Like hello hives. And I don’t know which fragrances because they don’t have to label what the ingredients are in the US because it’s ‘proprietary’ and so I actually prefer eo because then at least I have an idea of what’s in it. However, totally fragrance free is the ideal for me because they’re sensitizing and some of them cause me to break out in hives but like I don’t have issues with liminal (spelling?) is a ok for me
"Damn you power grids!" I feel this. California wants to go completely to electric cars, and I live in an area where PG&E will turn off our power for DAYS basically because they feel like it. Yeah... until THAT problem gets fixed, no electric cars for this house...
Not very relevant but I love you quoting the amazing Caroline Hirons' mantra about wipes! I find it very amusing though because when she says 'fanny' it's meant with the UK meaning not the North American 😂 it just tickled me haha x
Hello Cassandra, thank you for your work! just curious what do you think about for how long you can use an open bottles and tubes? Until the expiration date or for recommended by producer 6 or 12 months since opening? Also fun fact, I noticed, that sometimes cheap creams or cleansers goes much faster than more pricey ones For example I bought a cheap crème for 10 bucks and it finishes in 1 month, because I have to use a lot to cover whole face And more expensive crème for 50 bucks is with me for more than half of year already and it looks like I can use it for 3-4 months more…

But in the last five years or so, I began using oil and liquid cleansers and it totally changed my eye irritation game! I'm still maybe a bit rough with rubbing, but I'm no longer using a cloth that causes more friction than my hands.
To me you are the Gordon Ramsey of skincare and I AM HERE FOR IT.
Biba products are really overpriced and loaded with essential oils. Glad they're not irritating her skin.
"I'm ECONOMICAL, okay?!" *1 day after using/reviewing $630 skincare line*
Phenoxy ethanol!!!!!!!! I have products that I love otherwise but they sting the sides of my nose and upperlip area for a few seconds and then its gone!!!!! Thanks a lot for this information 💖 I ran to my shelf to find out that all these products that sting my face have this ingredient in them. Hope this burning everytime I apply these products , doesn't harm my skin on the long run. Please do let me know if I need to stop using these products and avoid products that have this ingredient in them.
I use unrefined coconut oil and a microfiber cloth to remove my make up before cleansing
Cassandra your personality grows on me more every video I’d def be your friend!!😊
Hi Cass! What do you think off elf skin? Haven't heard you talk about it much?:)
You wanted us to tell you if there weren't videos at the end!
I thought there were a lot of exfoliating steps and drying ingredients and possibly irritating ingredients too. She prob just has great skin to begin with or those creams are superheroes of calming moisture and barrier repair (even tho I didn't see any ceramides or peptides).
Idk it was confusing to say the least but if it works for her (which it looks like it does) then you do you!
Yay, learned why my "sensitive skin" daily moisturizer is causeing a red flush and slight burning.... Like why is that even in a sensitive skin moisturizer? Make it make sense! Thank you so much for the video! 💜🔮🌱🐾
That was an intro! Aldo this 30s-40s top suits you perfectly, You look and are great! Thank you for you channel.
Are you able to get bottle distilled water or spring water to use.
Do you have hard water? Maybe get a water softener filter?
I’m so glad I never got addicted to coffee
You don't need a filter Cass....💚❤️❤️❤️
You forgot the cards to the next video.
Also thank you for such wonderful content 🌺🌼
i was waiting for this!! i really want to know if it was a good skincare
CASSANDRAAAAAAA-I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!!!!!!!!!
😇😉 xo
I’m watching this in the uk and saying make up wipes are for Fannie’s has me ON THE FLLOOORRRF
I just came for the positive vibes
Your Intros are my fave🤪💖
I just loveeeeee youuuuuuuuu ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️hope you winnnnn
Car AC, it depends, once you get to certain speeds, open windows impact the wind resistance/aerodynamics and use more gas than having them closed with the AC on (far as I know). At least that’s what I’ve always been told ahah.
When I cut out dairy, gluten, and sweets my cystic acne disappeared! I can’t go back now!
That's awesome!! Have you considered going vegan? It sounds like you're making your way towards that. I noticed a lot of other health benefits when I went vegan (after being vegetarian for a while). You might notice more improvements too. :)
I recently come to feel that the more ppl who have a vested interest in bees survival the better :) love the review, good luck with the power and detox!
But harvesting beeswax and honey doesn't affect the survival of bees really. Unused honey can be fed back to bees too if their stores are low.
The Purito cica cream is a hg for me. I’m almost 48 with n/d skin. I love it and the price and it’s on Amazon. 💖
There's no video in the card Cassandra!!! Here you go...I yelled 🤭
I can’t get over Billie’s eyebrows. 😍
THESE PUNS ARE LIKE NAILS ON A CHALK BOARD. Love the content, hate the puns.
I have a clay mask that stings my face and I checked the ingredients, guess what? it has Phenoyethanol!! how did you know that?? you're amazing
AH! I’ve been waiting all day for your post ❤️
The did the AC vs windows down test on Mythbusters and if I remember correctly, they came out to basically the same.
The way you say Billie billie this sounds like ballay ballay that is used for showing happiness and in Punjabi songs
Do you think you’ll ever do a stretch mark video for products you recommend 💗
My mum started me out with skin care using Charles of the Ritz. I was about 12 years old.
Oml 13:31 is TOO relatable 😭
$30 for 12 wipes?!🤯 Tf is going on out there? 🤣
If you read the image of the packaging, it actually says 30 wipes. Idk if she's using a wrong image or she said the wrong thing, but i dont think 12 wipes costs $30 lol
@@bluebaconjake405 okay good🤣
I'm a bit sceptical about the "heavy water" - is that just deuterium oxide?
Totally. But, if she’s able to use those skin-picking-sticks and reusable cotton rounds later in her routine, why not at least use micellar? 🤷🏻♀️
She prolly just uses the wipes cuz thats what she likes in her routine....
@@graciousssssly because she may not want to lol tf it's her skin
@@graciousssssly right?
When I ausencia make up wipes I normally add a little bit of oils and I think it helps…
Wondering if you would do a tjmax or Marshall skin care haul?
My comment in the original billie video "oooh i cant wait until cassandra picks this apart"
LOL no video card at the end 😂😂😂
Turning your a/c on only uses up more gas under 35mph. Above that, opening your windows actually uses more because of drag!
However, totally fragrance free is the ideal for me because they’re sensitizing and some of them cause me to break out in hives but like I don’t have issues with liminal (spelling?) is a ok for me
So much anxiety getting my skincare headband on & getting my moisturizer in my hair.... 😵💫🥴I thought it was just me.
The only wipes that clean are water wipes. The Brand “water wipes”. They contain water. Lol I use them for non-makeup removal purposes in a pinch.
"Damn you power grids!"
I feel this.
I love your energy, Cassandra! About beeswax - why is it not good for the skin?
Beeswax is produced by bees, Cassandra is vegan and she avoids animal products (including what comes from bees) :)
Hello Cassandra, thank you for your work!
just curious what do you think about for how long you can use an open bottles and tubes?
Until the expiration date or for recommended by producer 6 or 12 months since opening?
Also fun fact, I noticed, that sometimes cheap creams or cleansers goes much faster than more pricey ones
For example I bought a cheap crème for 10 bucks and it finishes in 1 month, because I have to use a lot to cover whole face
And more expensive crème for 50 bucks is with me for more than half of year already and it looks like I can use it for 3-4 months more…
love this video
What are you on Cassandra? Because I very much need this type of energy x)
Before even start watching this video
Wanna say: love your content so much and hoping you to have a happy life 🤍
Cassie can you PLEASE do a video on Dr Babor Skin Care! I’m an Esthetician at a day spa where we work with and sell Babor products. I LIVE by Dr. Babor but would like to hear your opinion!!
Oh my, good luck with the coffee detox🥲
