My husband and I cruised every year from 1998 to 2019. We loved it but he passed away shortly thereafter and I really miss it so your videos are making me very happy…especially seeing again some of our favorite places!

Did you notice any of the crew in attendance?
Yes, there were a surprising number of crewmembers attending mass. The priest was even in a corner of the theater for a while, doing confessions with them.

My husband and I are planning on doing a world cruise in 2032. We’re starting to look at cruise lines that do world cruises and see what each offers. Curious as to what made you decide on RC? I’d love to see a video about your decision making process and how you went about planning it. I’m really enjoying your videos.
We’ve always been pretty loyal to Royal since our honeymoon in 1988. We know it is a solid reputable company. And we liked all of the amenities such as the entertainment is fabulous in the evening.

I have been following your experience since the start of the world cruise, and I have always had this weird feeling that I had seen Mike before, maybe at work. Low and behold I sent a picture of you to my dad, Curt, who also works at GE Aviation in GR and we figured out you were an exec in the engineering department!! Are there people on the ship who arent on the 9 month cruise? I guess we are weeks behind on vids.Oh my i would have loved that Beatle show..........big fan for many many decades!The Christmas caroling was just glorious! Im judging the weather by the clothing your wearing.
You can actually cruise for bits and parts of the 9 month cruise , some people on TikTok have found out it’s cheaper to pay for the cruise in sections than to pay for all 9 months at once!!!
Yes, there are 665 full world Cruisers the rest of the ship is made up of people either doing one of the four major legs or the 17 many Cruise legs. Thanks for watching

What a shame you couldn't visit Devils Island. I was lucky enough to go there a number of years ago and found it interesting. This however was on a much smaller British ship the Discovery and we were on our way to the Amazon. I had wondered how such a huge ship was going to be able to get there.
Did you read Papillon? I read nature has overtaken most of the structures.

I had the opportunity to be on a Hollon American ship for Christmas of 2016 with my family. It was very similar and lots of wonderful memories. I am really enjoying your adventure!

Just discovered you after hearing about the “drama” (from people who probably have never been in a cruise). I am loving your take and visiting with you, this is probably a lot of work but this will be great memories for you since it will get all mixed after 200 days!!! Midnight, buffets are a thing of the past. Room service is available 24 hours and the park café is open until 1 AM.

Sad you missed Devil's Island, but I get that safety is #1. Maybe someday Guyana (or is it French Guyana?) will build a port that can accommodate cruises. I know it's a popular destination on many long cruises.
I would have found a few dollars in my budget and room in my luggage to fill my partners stocking with on Christmas. A cheap toy, a favorite candy, and an orange from the buffet.

The youngest child doing the full world cruise is age 2.

We are going on a World Cruise 2025. Have just started looking up a lot of information. Do you have any videos on Visa’s? We have one so far, New Zealand, Australia has to be done a year to the date of arrival. Other countries we are visiting are getting complicated. Suggestion would be helpful. Cheaper doing our self. We don’t have any videos on doing visas. So much of it depends on where you currently live, what country. Other things even depend on your heritage. It is different for so many people. We would hate to give the wrong advice.
Did you do your own visas or did the ship help you? Thanks for the advice on vaccines. We made a appointment with the county nurse. Our pharmacy helped us out also.
I would be so so interested to know how the school age children are doing the world cruise? Do their parents home school them or do the parents bring tutors? An amazing experience for all for sure
We see the children working in their workbooks in the mornings. They are getting a wonderful experience visiting all these places.
What are the nail or hair salons like on ship ? Are there any?
You can get those services on a cruise ship in the spa but as far as i know. I don't think it would be any difference for this ultimate world cruise.
Yes there's a full spa and salon on board. But looking at my bald head it's nothing that I really need. 🤣🤣🤣 But Nancy's used the nail salon and hair salon before
