      It depends on his preferences but I can honestly say I've done my research Keith!! I'd be happy to give any advice. I chose Superior Gear for a lot of reasons but a big deciding factor was when a guy named Shug (youtube hammock guru) started using one regularly. It's SO comfy and easy!

    That looks well cool.. love the simple rapid set up and guy line points with the buckles. Great idea!! Especially for those who are maybe not so good with knots etc. Love the under quilt built into the hammock too great idea. Do you know if they do a midge net? Here in the UK and especially if we travel to Scotland the midges are relentless if there is no wind haha. Thinking if they do maybe it could snap into those studs? 🤔

    I have the same-looking Superior Hammock I bought discount from Danny. My 12 foot diamond tarp is a little small. I like the simplicity of the diamond, but it is nice Danny designed the line tensioners & cords real nice, for they can get complex & expensive to outfit the tarp so everything works easy. I am looking at his 12 foot hex tarp. I have a WB Superfly, and it looks like Danny's door tarp is more simple with less hassle of cords.

    • @BackpackingwithBuckley
      @BackpackingwithBuckley  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It had some early design flaws (logo stiched in the tarp). I am pretty sure he has seam sealed that now though or glued it instead of sewing it. Other than that it is an amazing design and really versatile and simple to set up!

    Thank you for including a picture of the kit in the stuff sacks, I could find no pictures of that elsewhere. I am 5 foot 10 and am kind of on the fence between ordering 10 or 11 feet long. Why did you chose to go with 11 feet ? How much heavier is it compared to the 10 feet ?

    • @BackpackingwithBuckley
      @BackpackingwithBuckley  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The weight for an 11 foot is minimal (a couple ounces). Mine are both 11 footers!

      Danny makes a 10 foot option and an 11 foot. I would think the 11 would work fine as Danny himself is over 6 feet and uses a 10. Thanks for the question!
