Hi - Will this part work on an 87 F150 2 wheel? and where did you buy it? I'm haveing a very hard time finding one. Lmc doesn't have them for my year F150
OK OBS Nat., thank you so much for posting this video. I've been looking for one of these damned reservoirs and had the same luck as you, they're made of unobtainium. There are Ford part dealers on-line that show availability for the original OE Part #D5TZ-9E453-A, but after taking your order, (and getting your hopes up), they cancel the order after a couple of days. You'd think that they'd update their sites. After ordering from these different sites several times, you'd think that they'd give you the superseded number, but no dice. I found one guy that had a new OEM reservoir one in the box, but he wanted over $100 dollars plus shipping for the damned thing, but I'm not handing out that much for a tin can and you make me glad that I didn't. I know that it's been almost a year since you posted this video and you probably have the truck almost done if not completely done. Good luck and I hope you're enjoying your ride. You gained a new subscriber for helping me out. Thanks again.
Thank you! Yeah the truck is about 90% done it’s been an awesome journey! This updated reservoir works pretty well, you can tell it holds more vacuum too. AC and brakes work a bit better
Yea they can be but the newer version will last longer being plastic and all the vacuum related systems are more responsive since the newer version is larger and can hold more vacuum reserve
I think you can get them on newer OBS in junkyards. My 1995 Bronco came with it.
Thanks for posting this, I need to replace mine, cabin smells like gas. By chance do you have part #s for the vacuum hose
Changing mine to the 96 plastic one
Yes! It works great, they hold more vacuum reserve too
Will this part work on my 94 f150
Yes it will

It might work on your year, I got mine from my local ford dealer, it’s the updated version from the steel can
Nice
Very nice
Advance auto also sells a canister
I tried that one but it didn’t hold enough vacuum for my liking on my 351w
Where can you get this part now??
You can google the part number and see who sells it online, I got mine from my local Ford dealer. LMC sells them too.

Yea they can be but the newer version will last longer being plastic and all the vacuum related systems are more responsive since the newer version is larger and can hold more vacuum reserve
