I just bought Falcon and found this stream for inspiration/tips... ABSO-Bloody-LUTELY FANTASTIC!!! My head has exploded, I need a lie down and will no doubt have to rewatch and take notes. I hadn't seen one of these live streams of Benn before, subbed now and will be digging through others. Thanks. 🖖💯🎶
This is THE synth. After a year being a SoundPass subscriber, I own it now. Even though I still have to save up for for all the fancy sound banks I love dearly (ASTRROID!!!), my drive to become a master sound designer like you and Cameron is been ignited by this multiverse of a synth
That's awesome! Really impressed by how deep Falcon is. You should do like you mentioned more streams with sound design/experimental anything goes jams. There's always something good that comes out of them.
I'm just starting with Falcon - after hesitating a long time to take the plunge... so powerful, and fun, and great sounding... This video is like an accelerated course, thank you Benn! (any advice for a new Falconeer?) And I'm also a new follower so thank you twice! I really appreciate the content on your channel(s)... Have a nice day! ;-)
I think he used the ai software, that he's involved in developing, to copy the original 303 line, using a human vocal, but with some additional modelling going on. I watched it at 5 in the morning, so it wasn't entirely clear to me, but that's the gist of what was going on, I think.
This instrument is so amazing! In a way, While I was disappointed with how MOTU Mach Five died, I'm glad that this even better product as what came out of the ash heap.
I'm not familiar at all with Falcon, this is basically my first exposure to it, roughly what percentage of the stuff in this video is included in that base $349 (199 atm) and how much are expansions? In general, how much of what it can do can you do with just the base package?
The soundware on the side that Benn's showing like the walking shoes, IRCAM instruments, Augmented Orchestra, Percussion Factory, etc. are extra, and some of those are pretty expensive (though they sound great). But Falcon comes with a huge library of 1600 very usable patches in all varieties. Anything you see him load from the "Falcon Factory" or "Falcon Preset Tour" comes with. All the oscillators he's working with like the harmonic resonator, pluck, etc. and the effects come with Falcon. When you buy Falcon you also get $/€100 voucher, and right now that will get you 2.5 Falcon expansions ($/€39 each), and it's buy-one-get-one, so if you plunked down like $/€20 more it would get you 6 expansions if my math is right. The expansions usually have dozens of extra patches in them and you can customize any of them in Falcon.

I find myself twenty minutes into listening to arpeggiated shoes, and it's the most entertaining thing ever. ((:

valuable teaching in using falcon ...thank you so much
starting approximately at 1:57:00 ....... it gets absolutely nuts! Ya man! luv it (what is it you're using to "vocalize" the groove btw...?)

That vocal sequence comeing from the 303 line. I seem to be missing how that is routed. Will someone please explain this to me? Thanks!

Can Falcon be loaded as an effect (into the mixer track)? Seems like that could also be useful.
Way late to the party here BUT. It amazes me that UVI don’t try to embrace smaller Kontakt developers, who NI are less than embracing towards.
gotta love a cute birb stream
