I am between the c1000 or the delta 2. Both similar in size and power. I just want to make sure my fridge can go for as long as it can during my weekend trips.
I was stuck between the two for a year. They’re practically identical. Ultimately, I bought the C1000. I like the screen better, a little light you can turn on and off, all the plugs are 3 prongs while that’s not the case for the delta, I hear it runs quieter, and I got the unit cheaper at $499. I would only buy these units during a sale. I would recommend getting the Anker C1000 with a 200 W solar panel bundled as it’s cheaper than getting it separately.
I love Anker. And this thing looks solid. We live in Portland and have a Bronco too. 😊 We're planning our major trip to Utah in May. Doing Sand Hollow/Zion for a few days, then over to Moab for a few days, then taking part of the Utah BDR on the way home. We're also doing Overland Expo PNW this year for the first time. Hoping this sale lasts until my work bonus comes in, cuz I'd love to add this to our kit. Great video as always. Long time watcher/subscriber.
I got the expansion battery which will extend my run time and also cut down on the number of cycles for charging. Never getting below 50% using both batteries should give me 6000 cycles 👍
I used this Solis C1000 with the ICECO VL35S Pro driving back from Colorado to Virginia and it only lasted 18 hours or so at 38 degrees. I plugged it into the car socket and charged everything back up to 100 percent during the long drive to the next hotel and left them together overnight again.....the next morning or 12 hours or so later and the Solis C1000 was at 38 percent left. Not sure what I am doing wrong with these devices. It was hot 80/90s but I didn't get near the same output. Ill email the companies and see.
Nice trick: plug EcoFlow Glacier AC adapter into bronco's inverter port, plug XT60 connector into your battery's solar charging port (or fridge) and boom, 200 watts of charging
Does it run your diesel heater? I have the same battery and I had to but a 12v to 110v adapter in order to run my heater. Wish it would run off the 12v socket.
Instead of charging it using the car's cigarette port or solar panels, can you also charge it using a 12V, 100Ah LiFePO4 battery, and also increasing its capacity? It's cheaper than the expansion battery.
I am buying this tonite(prime day) i have a 2024 wildwood rv with a 200 watt solar on top and im wondering if this can be charged buy the secondary outlet on the side of my rv and i just subscribed
This is great and all, but without knowing exactly what you charged over three days it really doesn't give me an idea of how it will work in my world. Nice to know it works for you, but I still have no idea how it will hold up in my world. If I knew what you charged I could say well the first thing he charged is like my laptop and the second thing he charged is like my portable projector, etc. Charged camera batteries... ok great. Two batteries? Nine batteries? Fridge running the whole time... what fridge? How much power does it use? I just have no info other than you charged some batteries and kept the beer cold.
@@OFFTHEGRIND unfortunately not - here is their explanation: Anker customer service = my PC draws about 280 watts an hour so their logic: 1000Kwh divided by 280 so their unit "outperformed" by lasting 4 hours...
@@OFFTHEGRIND no confusion on that - just that it is painted on TH-cam Chanels like the second coming of portable batteries - "it will run your fridge", "your washer", "your oven"... yeah, for 5 minutes...
@@StefanoKlironomos it’s a 1056 watt hour battery. That divided but whatever the appliance draw equals the amount of hours you can use it. So if your pc pulls 250w, then yeah it’ll only run it for 4 hours. In this video I ran my fridge. It only draws when the compressor is on which it is not constantly running. When it is it pulls 60 watts so yeah I got three days out of it. Thought I was pretty clear about all that
I’ll be at the SAVE expo in Starke Florida on March 1st, at the anker booth, booth 104!! Come say hi if you’re there!
I've got the F2000, and I've gotta admit ... while I thought the light was going to be a bit of a 'gimmick', it's actually surprisingly helpful.
Haha dude I thought the same thing. It’s actually really nice to have
Got my C800 yesterday.
Love it😮
HEY!!! You drove off and left your camera!!
Hahahaha shoot!! I knew I forgot something

C1000 easy choice. Hope you made the correct choice.
@@cesarbriones3501 Why is that an easy choice? The two batteries are practically identical.
@@richardfoshee3244 one charges in 56 minutes the other in 130 minutes... you decide.

It's a great unit. Summer starts July 5th. :)
Awesome video, Anker looks great.
Thanks man! Yeah I’m really impressed by it. Excited to see the c800 in person as well
Just what I needed to know. Thank you sir!
Thanks for sharing the information. Shortly will be doing a build on a gladiator and will need a power source.
Thank you for the information!

Crazy that you can get this with the solar panel for $100 less than just the battery box right now. I didn't know this existed but damn do I want it.
I think it would be helpful to test the solar panel on cloudy days
I got the expansion battery which will extend my run time and also cut down on the number of cycles for charging. Never getting below 50% using both batteries should give me 6000 cycles 👍
Oh that’s awesome! I was trying to get the expansion as well but they were out of stock

Were you plugged into the AC port or using the 12 V plug?
Not sure, The trunk outlet in the bronco which I think is a v12 and the front sockets on the solis
I'm interested in one of these. Will it power a 12V mini fridge and if so, how long?
about 30 hours
Can you use it without the app? In the apocalypse we might not have phone use
What temp did you run the fridge?
How many watts does the fridge use?
It uses about 60 watts when the compressor is on

yes
I wish I could post that spiderman pointing meme here
lol it’s true. TH-cam was flooded with these today

Do you plug the battery into your DC plug while driving normally?
Can't you charge it while driving with a 12v socket
Yeah absolutely. Pretty sure I said that in there. But if not you certainly can and they provide you what you need to do so
How long does it take to charge to 100 % off your car socket?
Were you able to charge c1000 while having stuff plugged into it?
are you still using this unit instead of the EcoFlow unit
Yes I am. I honestly prefer this one

I must've gotten a dud - mine dies just 4 hours or so of running my gaming PC. $700 down the drain...
Please let this be a joke…
