The radar has totally enhanced the game for people using hood cam view, the visual improvements are also a big step in the right direction. Perhaps this is peak Forza now. I imagine things will only get better from this point and will continue to evolve over the next couple years. The endurance races are some of my best Forza experiences, it’s been amazing good times on the track lately
@@shitoryu8 really unfortunate that the game couldn’t launch in its current state as many players have abandoned the game. For me the physics were the best in the series from the start but there were too many other shortcomings keeping me from truly enjoying the game. Feels like proper Forza no no doubt

On the braking point thing, as a hard driving line crutch, your often told to brake at that crest. A dab of brakes there also helps settle the nose to turn in for the cork screw. So not super uncommon, but it can catch a faster driver out following someone that doew that
Yes, people have different styles at driving and cars also have different brakes and characteristics. So for me where "your" braking point is, is never a argument anyway for me. Its your job not to rear end other drivers, end of story! He should have kept his distance, going full throttle at this section inches away from a car is just a bit reckless.
I think this would only work the best if you’re in cockpit view or ground view. but no complaints-because GT7 still has theirs in the bottom of the screen

I was driving the Ford GT in this race and it was great battling through the field with you. But up till now I wasn’t even aware that I was racing it bone stock with no tune!! 😂 So greatly appreciate the info about the PI changes to a few of the cars! A subscribe for you my man and I hope to meet you again soon in a future lobby. 🤙

I love the technicality of it especially that little left hand dipper with the sausage kerb before you start heading up the hill towards the corkscrew. Before they split the classes my usual go to for this track was the Aston and with it I was managing mid - high 22s on softs, high 23s on mediums and mid - high 24s on hards so I knew something wasn’t quite right but I originally just chalked it up to not having used the GT there before. So good to know I’ll be sure to re tune it when I’m next on.
As a rig user only inside view this is great, not sure why we can't have mirror as well. Project Cars 2 is still amazing for console but Forza M8 is better wheel physics for me.
I think that when you push the stick forward and the car can't drive straight and the pause at half lock is game breaking for me. It's sad cause the feeling otherwise is superb.

1:43 watch the left side of the car around the rear wing, there's a few proximity arrows that appear to warn about a car going down the start finish straight, hilarious Radar looks great, shame it took this long but better late than never I suppose, hopefully this is the start of an upward trend
The rectangular design looks better than GT’s triangular ones, at least you could see the corners to avoid contact. But popping up on the center of the screen feels weird.
It would be better if it showed tye orientation of the car, because even though you may see a car sideways in front of you, what if there was another in front of it that was also sideways or backwards you didn't see and just thought was going straight because the rectangle only points in one direction? Or for tandem drifting, where angle matters? Or rally[cross]?

Depends on what you call a comeback by realism-oriented racing game standards. This is never going to be more popular than Horizon, no matter how good the game is.

with the Driver Suit changing, I get it with most suits, where it defaults back to that ugly orange one you start with. The Bridgestone suit makes my computer crash to desktop. Makes my Xbox crash to dashboard. Guess that is not on their priority list to fix.
There was a point when I could come back and still find myself rocking the black purple vip suit. I think after the 3rd update it started defaulting back to that ugly orange. Not sure if the change was intentional or not but it definitely sucks. Not getting the crash the Bridgestone suit on series x, probably should report that one

I played in South Africa for many years and the connection I have in Australia is a bunch better than it was there. I don't always have poor network, and actually don't notice it most of the time. And it went away halfway through the race so it wasn't too bad to begin with

I'm having a blast with the game at the moment. It's improved drastically and most of my lobbies are full.

Was wondering why my Porsche was so horrible yesterday. Had so much understeer on a tune that was perfect before.
This should be enabled by default in multiplayer

No. I reinstalled it the other day to have a go on the endurance races, but it is still a game with no soul.
The only thing about the radar is that a lot of people in forza don’t know how to block correctly leading to a lot of dirty blocking

The radar ui is horrid looks like it was just slapped together
I have similar feelings on that, hopefully it gets worked on over time, but for now I'm relieved it exists
