The voice acting for Mordor generals on the battle map and campaign map is somehow one of the most enjoyable parts of this play through. It's so different than the men or elves.
Crazy how much of a difference who the player is playing makes even if the AI was playing Mordor they would have had no direct impact on that area anyway.
I suggest that after advancing two settlements west you send all reinforcements North Rhun looks like they'll need help. Right now Dol Gouldor is dead in 5 turns even with their doomstack. Gondor however will now send their full force southward which is why the next two southern settlements must fall so that you can properly defend non ruin settlements.
I think I can make Rhun safe with what I have going that direction. I can spam out some trash from the eastern city if needed. Focus is still on pushing Gondor and using those great beasts and trolls to maximum potential.
You only took one settlement. That means the 'turn' was a disappointment, right? No, I do not believe 'it' was. You've got three armies ready to use against Khand and you'll use the crap stack, too, I'm sure. You sneaked an army across to be able to take Tolfalas. Dol Amroth's got more settlements than I thought it had. That's good. Once you've defended Linhir, you can send the army to take Barad Harn or perhaps you'll sneak the army in Tolfalas across. Being abysmally untrustworthy makes peace deals almost impossible, as you've already said. You may have to reduce Dol Amroth to one settlement and give 2 back in the peace deal. As long as they are landlocked, they'll disband their fleet, saving you the time and resources to build fleet to destroy theirs. Making Dol Amroth a vassal so their fleet is available to use, is not possible. If you manage it, kudos to you. I think once you've removed the Khandish infestation of Rhunnic land and returned the settlements to Rhun under Very Generous deals that you won't be abysmally untrustworthy anymore. The longer Isengard and Dol Guldur can hold out, the more time it buys you to deal with Gondor and clean up Rhun. Reducing Gondor to a land locked state. so it will disband its fleet, is harder. Khand's going to have a fleet, too. I'm convinced you'll need a fleet to take on the Ardunaim. I am convinced that Ardunaim Admiral thought he was near the last of the Grey Havens. He was only half a map off. I would upgrade Gelebrin. You don't intend to use it for anything other than defence. It should have all the troops buildings, waystation and armourers, so it can upgrade its army out of its own resources. Not so Calenhall. You can recruit an army out of Minas Tirith quickly and send it to reinforce. Good progress.
If I could build a fleet I would unfortunately that isn't an option. I think I'll leave Gelebrin at that tier if it's a border. The wooden towers fire much faster than the ballistas and much better against low armour units (Rohan). Also I prefer that settlement setup to the upgraded stone one for the orcs.

LISSSTEN UP
Eight stacks of Dale and Anduin sieging Dol Goldur is hilarious. Everyone is coming for Rhun as soon as the last couple Dol Goldur settlements fall.

a great episode! do you plan on doing world domination on this one or just securing the south and getting the ring?
No world domination. We'll see how far, probably finish off Gondor. I'd like to get the ring, if only it would spawn on my half of the map.

@@epmtotalwar I'd recommend against that Endwaith is the greatest kyrptoniate while in the north only Lothlorien can counter you in the north
What about Broadbeam marksmen are they considered rangers? They suck though.
I don't consider them rangers whatever the game may say.
@@epmtotalwar yeah they are too bad to be rangers.
