Losing so many trolls, so many great beasts was disappointing, but not as much as the fight that Egalmoth did..... How far Gondor has fallen that they have resorted to name a general Egalmoth, an imposter. They hope to scare them off with the captain's name such disappointment.
You need some chaff to support your trolls to blunt any charge if you're doing any expeditions from your main army chaff are relatively cheap and are good for saving your better units
Love the campaign! Great seeing Egalmoth in his brief return lol. I think it would be nice if they removed great beasts and just added Temple Knights in all those unique Numenorean settlements as well as make the Temple units just more available maybe. Maybe same with Olag Hai. Just spit balling but it was a great thought about the role of Great Beasts in the game.
@@justinhuebsch1713 They are too much right now. I loe the idea of putting the knights to be available. Crazy to me that the knights weren't put in the other settlements because balance nut let's allow great beasts to be as common as snaga. No problems here.
@zackc3767 yeah, also, it's not holding my attention like others, it is enjoyable but it's still pretty much at the bottom, I think I'd put goblins below it.
Mordor campaign: survive until trolls and great beasts then steam roll Playing against Mordor campaign: defeat Mordor before they get trolls and great beasts or get steam rolled unless you manually fight every battle.
Seems like we really do need to send troops northward as the good factions won't cannibalize each other as the Anduin has Goblins and then Angmar, Dwarves Rhun and Gundabad, Dale Rhun and Rohan both Rhun and Duneland.
Maybe you should just console command an army to the ring to get it if it keeps spawning at the other side of the map. Sauron has to return before the end.
small question im playing as the dunedain and i have seen that there is a possibility to get gandalf the white but how exactly does that work do u have to kill of the grey version and just wait a few turn until he respawns as the white wizard?
I'm confused as to why you didn't reload that? Surely it's not about owning a gameplay mistake... it's a missclick on the UI! Or do you just hate fighting Khand THAT much?😂
@Aldonoth Bit of both honestly. Also, I made that mistake in my first campaign on the channel and remembering that has kept me careful, now this is the new reminder. The consequence has to hurt for it to be useful.
Guess I’m staying up until 4am now 😔

@@platitudepete8 Bulldog? 🤣
Egalmoth, Bastion of the bridge of Osgiliath
@@monchiszilla Never forgotten.
Holy Shit its Egalmoth, retreat! Retreat!
Seeing the true Egalmoth rise is Insane
@TheRKG1337 I think general egalmoth has less power than captain egalmoth.

RIP Egalmoth 😆

I thought this campaign was going to be 30 episodes after the first couple and now I think it might be wrapped up in another 5-10.

I'm not going north. I'd like to keep my sanity.
@@epmtotalwar But there are fewer great beast counters there only Lothlorien can stop the beasts other than that you should absolutely trample them.

You've pretty much got it. The grey has to die and about 20-30 turns later he comes back as the white with an arthedain heavy cav unit.
@@epmtotalwar alright thx
