Season 8 Episode 5 "The Confession"
Chase and Taub return to the team, as the team takes the case of a man (Jamie Bamber) who suffers heart problems while having an affair. @@majormana1 probably what lured Wilson to House is House's antics, he is as smart and capable as House but have strong moral compass to remind him what's breaking the law and what's not, meanwhile House just do things for the sake of amusement regardless of legality of his act. So he is interested in Houses pranks and silliness because technically he couldn't do it but he can watch House doing it.

@@beverlyarcher546 Foreman left, and then when he did stuff he normally does with House on his new team, he saved the patient, but got black listed from working with them again and other hospitals. So his only option was going back to the old hospital.

The obsession is also because House always suspected his father wasn't actually his father after he figured out that certain genetic traits he had didn't make sense, and he actually paternity tested his dead father in Season 5 by getting a DNA sample at the funeral which proved his father was not John House.
Omg, really? Did he know that House wasn't his son, or was House the only one that wasn't meant to know? Did he find out who his real father was?

The opening is hilarious.
Immediately Foreman is acting just like Cuddy. Not as annoying, but still just as obsessed with the overall good of the hospital. Chase and Taub are immediately more cynical, more sarcastic and jokey, and more noticed on detail.

How was Cuddy ''annoying''? She was the best boss ever, she walked a fine line between running the hospital, answering to the board and patines, AND dealing with House in particular and all the medical stuff in general. She had a tough job and she was perfect for it.

If House has DNA from both kids, he can look to see if they are half-siblings. If they are, Taub is the father to both. If they aren't Taub isn't the father to one or both. That, is at least interesting.
its that or taub is the father of both and the mother is the different one, since taub was the one being unfaithful originally. (i dont remeber if they do reveal it or not)

@@leonhardeuler675 i was replying to the half siblings idea. it would only show that one of the parents is the same. so i was pointing out that it could have also been taub as the same father (as you just explained to me. i really need to have a rewatch the show agian.) or that the mother was the same, meaning that taub would be the offset, wich i assumed is the angle you were going with as you focused on taub's side of it.
i was more going for the point that it wouldnt really answer houses question since he needs DNA from one of the parents to confirm.
@@megasora4 I think you need to rewatch the episode because everyone knows that tbe babies have different mothers. Taub contends that he knows he is the father to both but House wants to mess with Taub. My point is that given that House already has DNA samples from both children, and it just looking for Taub's DNA (which Taub doesn't give him), he could still just test to see if the babies are half siblings. It would be very likely that Taub would be the father to both in that case because the only other reason would be that both mothers had affairs with the same man (probably Chase :p ). If they are no related at all, then either Taub is father to one and not the other, or Taub is father to neither, which would require a DNA sample to confirm.

I honestly love the ending of house, but I feel like it would have been cool if the ending was the second to last episode. So we got one episode of Chase being House, Forman being Cuddy, and how that dynamic would work. Yet also we get to see just snippets of the fun things House and Wilson do. I feel like that would be a great dynamic to watch, at least once. Plus they could just restart, getting people similar to Chase, Cameron and Foreman. At the end of the episode we see the three of them, reminiscing and talking about how they used to be like those three and the very end we get to see an emotional House/Wilson moment. I do love the ending and feel like the ending definitely fit, just would have loved to see the relationship of Chase being the new House and Foreman being the new Cuddy play out at least once.
No, no, no, stop with this ''they could just restart'' - no, they could NOT. There were already chase, forman, cameron, taub and we didn't need the duplicates. There is no House without the actual House, and we already saw glimpses of Chase being a house 2.0. No need to drag this out for god know how long.
@@yevgeniyaleshchenko849 That’s your opinion, but shows like Grey’s anatomy have literally done this exact plot. They don’t need to be exactly the same but have a major characteristic that would remind them of their past selves. I personally would find that as a much more interesting and entertaining last episode than the original. I do love the original ending but to get to see the three of them do some sort of reminiscing, watching the new dynamic and seeing or at least watching House and Wilson plan and figure out what they want to do next would honestly, I feel like have been a good ending. It puts together everything that was so lovable about House and ties it up with a nice lil ribbon. It’s similar to B99 and how they ended the show with the Heist. It took such a major component of the show and made that the finale. I would have just loved to see them take the dynamics of the show that made it so lovable and revamp them and show not only the similarities but also the differences. Obviously they can’t just “restart” no one will ever be House, but the point is they made Chase basically the new House, and I would have loved to seen that dynamic play out at least once to see not only the similarities but also the differences.

Taub tried to kill himself early in life and it gave him a new appreciation for life so he'd never do it

If I were Taub I'd take a test myself then place my own bet based on the results, House might catch on but at least it would spoil the fun of it for him, and if he goes along with it I get all the money.
