This is one of the rifles on my short list. I find your videos informative. I am after a rifle ,since I sold my HW 77, to pay for a weeks shopping after I moved into my house, having been cleaned out by legal fees and other bills. I also fancy an HW 100. Btw, the tv in the background is a distraction.
I have one with the walnut stock, paid £350 for it , the best £350 i have ever spent, just as accurate as mu fx dreamline for a third of the price, nice review by the way, 😁👍
@MichaelFishfinger You can get the standard version in the UK I have one myself and it is the same price as the carbine (£390) I dont know how accurate the carbine is but my standard version groups a less than 10mm at 50yds!!
Hi Emma, thanks for the info on the scope ! Is this a powerfull air rifle? I have my eye on one but i saw that it's max velocity (on Pyramyd Air website) is about 581fps ! and they have it only in 22 caliber. Is it ok for hunting or not powerfull enough? please let me know thanks...
@CancerapeIts a Chinese tasco I bought off ebay for about £45, they aren’t bad for the money but I would recommend a hawke Varmint, that’s what I use now ;-)
Yes I agree the .22 does drop to much. Who ever it was that call the police told them I have firearms and ammo which it a complete LIE because I don't and never have had and I have never indicated that I have firearms so who ever it was, I guess the police will be paying them a visit for waiting their time!
Hello Emma, great shooting and very informative vids. Just letting you know that you've helped to relieve me of some money. LOL. Iv'e just ordered a HW100s in ,177, should be with me in a couple of days. Iv'e been deliberating for a while which rifle to get between the AA s410 and the HW100s. The Weihrauch got the vote in the end, well engineered/slick loading etc. Is there a particular pellet that you would recommend at all? Thanks in advance and keep making the vids. Regards........Neil.
hi cubbley jubbley, iv just bought the carbine and goin to join field target club, im goin to be using a nicco sterling 6x26x56, do you think this will be ok? good review by the way :)
@mrshitslap1 You need to check your pump on another rifle with a gauge or check the gauge on your rifle with someone else's charging gear! that's to only thing I can think of!
I dont think they will turn up a great deal if they are 12ftlbs, I understand the internals have to be upgraded to get high power. I dont think a standard rifle will go over 14ftlbs!
@cubleycat hi cubleycat great review i used to have a 410 and i loved it but now i have my air wolf and its the dogs nuts lol . ps your every mans perfect woman
Funny you should say that, the police came round a few weeks ago, armed police too all because (I think) someone who I blocked from leaving comments because he was a nuisance and kept leaving childish dumb comments spat his dummy out and called the cops, what a baby ahy?
Not wanting to start a big power debate, but why are people so terrified of that stupid 12ftlbs limit 'ie it's better to be under than going over because you'll get locked up'!!?? Firstly why does anyone need to know you've even got a rifle? 2 I know people that are old school like in their 70s that have their rifles well over ie 16ftlbs and more that live on farms and only use them on said farms who's going to know? I just don't get it? It's like saying oh you better not smoke a joint in your house other wise you'll get locked up, when nobody even knows you smoke! People need to grow a pair as they are just so terrified of the law if they just kept their mouths shut there would be no problems! In terms of hunting you want the most power and accuracy possible as the radius of concussion the destructiveness the pellet causes beings larger and larger with increased energy, I didn't say that credit goes to Ted from Teds Holdover!
Mrjonrc88 I with you there, the police should use common scene when it comes to over 12ftlbs. What I mean is if its an old guy who uses an air rifle and has done for decades he knows what hes doing, if its a gun thats running just a bit over and you are of good character (ie not a know toe-rag known to the cops) then give em a notice to get it fixed and proved proof its been sorted. Anyway as we know who ever came up with this magic 12ftlbs back when ever may not have assessed this limit correctly, perhaps the limit needs updating, if it were a higher limit would it be extremely lethal, would it high power mean less people need to put it for an F.A.C to get a much higher powered rifle to better cleaner more humane shots at their quarry? I mean look at the VCR programme, all hand guns, blank firing or replica hand guns could get you 5 years but you can LEGALLY buy and own say a Desert storm or Colt 45 or PPK etc and its called an air pistol they look like a real hand gun, just shows that we are governed by a bunch of out of touch clowns with no logic! anyway peace out. (not in the scene of a gun peace out style either) ;-)
cubleycat when I bought my Daystate huntsman midas last July it was way underpowered @10.2ftlbs as most of them are as I believe it's a crafty ploy of the government to lower the power limit even more as they know full well if they just reduced it there would be loads of country men out on the protest so by doing it this way they can gradually introduce it. But regards to my own rifle I've had it put on ticket now and tuned it myself to 18.6ftlbs. 22 and seriously it's the way to go for hunting I can take out crows and pigeons at over 70yrs with it, that's why so many people who don't have a FAC get. 177 as you can get more velocity but you loose stopping power and is more heavily effected by wind, but with 22 on FAC levels you get the best of both and I also found the consistency of my rifle is even better max variation between shots is 5fps using JSB jumbo 18.13grains which my rifle absolutely loves.
Hi ! If people from Daystate know, what you did with the airgun in limit, they will must lend you their airgun and they should pay you for advertising ;) 5.
Had mine for 8 months now and it's never let me down, hope you will do some more video on the 400 ;o)
3:13 call the plasterer lol, great review!
@mw2muncher You can buy an Air Arms S410, a ten shot version,

thank you this review was really good. Can the bolt be switched to the left hand side for left hand shooters?.
Chrono it and use the power adjuster,
Mine did only a small 10 footpound out of the box instead of 12, now it does 14

Yes I agree the .22 does drop to much.

do you shoot field target jubbley?
After owning everything" near enough lol for me Air Arms make the finest airguns available now! British engineering at its best!
Its a Chinese Tasco 6-24x50 from ebay so not expensive but it works well.
Did you notice any difference in accuracy between this and your hw100 emma? When doing your tests? FMG
hi cubbley jubbley, iv just bought the carbine and goin to join field target club, im goin to be using a nicco sterling 6x26x56, do you think this will be ok? good review by the way :)
Thanks its a Tasco 6-24x50
Just got one nice to hold go to try it ,something this nice must shoot well
Yes they are very good, many people use them, you dont need a .22
oh cool thanks for the thing about the glue
@mrshitslap1 You need to check your pump on another rifle with a gauge or check the gauge on your rifle with someone else's charging gear! that's to only thing I can think of!
I enjoy using the S410 Carbine, thats a good air rifle.
@pfr108 Thanks all ;-)
Yeah that is expensive there, it does about 800 ft/sec though!
No, i was trying to watch the programme on the TV behind and she kept putting the gun in the way.
Just wondered, why have you got 3 allen keys attached to the rifles action??
Well spotted. They are for swapping the scope etc.
65 constant but will do more without a problem really
I will try and remember to speak louder ;-)
@feiz01 yes that sounds a great choice ;-)
That is pretty much our power limit here, people hunt rabbits and crows etc so yes it is powerful enough for hunting I would say.
great informative video thanks. :)
Thanks ;-)
Yes great rifle
the stiffness will go away from the bolt. Just break in time.
Yeah I bet! sweet rifle ;-)
It is doing 11.8ftlbs now its been used a bit. Here in the UK over 12ftlbs= prison unless you have a license!
I dont think they will turn up a great deal if they are 12ftlbs, I understand the internals have to be upgraded to get high power. I dont think a standard rifle will go over 14ftlbs!
wheres your hw100 bubley
Sexy review!
@mrsquirrelhunter1 English people earn more (Im from England) BUT we're quite heavily taxed.
Nice
@getsome1976 Thanks ;-)
i know about the prison, over 12 ftlbs is like having an illigal fire arm.
Just if you can have 11.9, it sucks when it only has 10
@cubleycat hi cubleycat great review i used to have a 410 and i loved it but now i have my air wolf and its the dogs nuts lol . ps your every mans perfect woman
@feiz01 I used to but I just shoot for fun now :-)

Funny you should say that, the police came round a few weeks ago, armed police too all because (I think) someone who I blocked from leaving comments because he was a nuisance and kept leaving childish dumb comments spat his dummy out and called the cops, what a baby ahy?

You have ruined the wood!!! :(
There isn't anything in them really!
