Just bought an S410 used with scope. You are right. They are a very classy looking gun. Currently in transit so too early to call. Been very happy with my S200 m 2 which by contrast would not win any beauty contest! Love your videos always very interesting. Thanks

@@nickvending9688 Yes you are right it is the CZ design. Nice light gun and very accurate. Be interesting to compare with the 410. Started out to buy a budget PCP but then which one? In the end went for the 410 used for similar cost. Thanks again Nick.
Hi Nick I had an S400 classic in .177 but a later model with the safety button and skip line checkering and it was super accurate with a wide range of pellets. Anything JSB was great and crosman ultra magnums were nearly as good. Treated it to a Custom Stocks CS700 which transformed the handling and it looked even prettier (shame about the pipe cleaner diameter barrel)😄 I found the Weihrauch silencer better than the Air Arms it came with. Did a swap deal on a HW100KS as I only hunted and found the S400 too fiddly to reload if a second shot was needed. I’m sure I’ve got a Rowan trigger for it that I never fitted🤣 Enjoy tinkering with it 👍🏻
Hello Kev, thank you for your comment much appreciated. My old one had the stock you described, with the "rosewood" end cap to the pistol grip. Wish I'd kept it. Thank you for the tip with the pellets, that will narrow it down. Agreed about hunting with the S400, I think Rowan did a magazine for them. Not seen the triggers, will have to investigate that. I sold my S400 and bought a HW98, I've still got that.
Hi Nick, You had a good buy there. Airmax are in my opinion one of the best scopes approved for air rifles. About £200-00 to buy. Gun looks good too. Nice project.

They are great guns for sure. Shame mine turned out to be broken (spoiler alert). Not sure about the scope, it doesn't have any of the usual eBay special knock off features to it, it is just old.
@@PaulMoorhousehankooks the filler valve was leaking, I replaced that but now another seal is leaking too. I'm looking to re-home it as is, if there are no takers then I will look into servicing it.
