Thank you, that is very kind. Yes I was a big advocate all that time ago, I know many people have purchased HW100 rifles after watching my videos, they say so in the comments. I was the first to use a sony handy cam attached to the scope to record videos like this, many people have copied the idea and over the years and companies have used the idea to make specifically designed systems. I am also know as snypercat on youtube, I did many rat shooting videos using the handy cam’s night vision function, no one had ever done this before and I see pretty much all the rat shotting videos are head shots and not body shots now, much more humane shooting. Of course, I got slated for all my videos, people saying they were fake and not possible, the rat shooting was not done to a “good standard” and I never missed, never failed to dispatch 100%, I think many people were and are bitter and jealous. The HW100 is still the best air rifle out there in my opinion. Someone actually called the police on me this about this particular video saying the rifle was over powered and I got raided by firearms officers, all my rifles were tested and returned sub 12ftlbs, I see quite a few videos of others copying this 200 meter shot. When I become interested in something I have to push everything to its limits, I love the challenge! Thanks for your comment. Cubleycat
@@cubleycat That is amazing story indeed ! Hi yes I just set mine up for this again last week :-) so its fresh in my mind. Pack under the back of your scope only by about 5mm to get the elevation, set a target out at 10meters and adjust your scope until the pellet hits 400mm above your aim point. That is how mine is setup with power of 11.3 fpe or 778fps and I used Air arms pellets, I tried some others but they needed a lot more hold over! your 54 should have more power than mine too ;-) good luck!
Just getting used to my HW100, will have to try 100, 150, then 200m. Trouble is, the wife's a better shot than me, and she's just moved up to the Air Arms S510...…………………..! Good on you for sticking to your guns (Ha Ha) when folk knock you. Respect.
Delightful! You are a true shooter;Body,Mind&Soul. Stretching, growing, exploring& pushing the limits of yourself and your equipment. Thank you so much. You are an inspiration to all.
Thankyou for your kind words, usually I get cretins saying this is not possible and calling me assorts of things. I have done the 200meter shot several times to prove it was possible and now many others have done it too so those who say I am lying have now been pwned by ME haha.
Cool vid, I remember shooting my 6.5x55 at 1,000 yards at Bisley for the first time. The zero range is about 10 yards and it's amazing how high you actually have to lob the bullet for those sort of ranges, even with a full bore rifle.
Hello, i,m a New zealander, Living in Denmark , i love airguns, your vids are amazing , please keep up the good work, you give me reason to get my hw 100 out again, Thanks , with kind regards, Thomas.
nice one there young lady, i got myself a hw100 .22 today, as i already have a rapid 17 in .177.... rather excellent shooting there, hats off, i really need to sort out my long range work for both rifles, not for game but for targets, and to get used to the mildots as i aint used my rapid for a while...................but seriously, well done on proving them pesky doubters wrong
You don't need to prove anything to anyone Emma though it was good to see you stick it in those doubters faces. ;-) Great video, you have some awesome toys!
As a owner of a HW100 .177 I can only pull my head. I know my will print me an 1/2" pattern at 50m with 14 pellets, but I thought the pellets would start to spin out after about 80-100m. Guess you proved me wrong! And I need a 200m range!!
@Papakolea464 Feet per second and foot pounds are completely different. Foot pounds is the power generated by the gun, feet per second is the rate at which the pellet/projectile travels, it can vary depending on what grain (weight) pellet you use.
there's no doubt in my mnd that this shot is capable of being made with a 12ft/lb hw100! ive had mine for around 3yrs and have achieved some imprssive shots with it. i check my zero at 35 yards with a piece of paper 15mm in diameter! with a nikkon sterling laserking scope the hunting/target world is easy! well done
Just bought my Wife this Riffle and after a brief intro by the sales lady my wife promptly shot 14 HFT targets out OF 14, 2 of which were reduced to 5cm @ 40 yards using Bisley Super Domes, smiles all round. I'm a believer
@garebear601 For this shot I set my scope 300mm high at 10meters, overall it is about 10 meters above the final target! so put a target out at 10meters and set the scope 300mm above the aim point, that will give you a starting point and I used a JSB 8.4 or anything the same wieght and ballistic coefficient proterties, then pray you manage to hit the tiny target LOL, it is hard to set the scope just right!
@MrPadraigmccarthy No there wont be enough power left with a sub 12fpe rifle, the pellet didnt go threw the tin can most of the time, it was just to odd one!
I Still love them you know! I just did the 200 meter shot again last Saturday :-) do you want me to post it up on youtube. I cant believe its 3 years since I did this video!
@BigDuke6ixx hehe I sure did my friend, they use calculators to say its not possible I say try it! ;-) did you know they had to delete the first thread on their forum as it was getting out of hand but some one started a second one, not sure if is still running though!
Well done very impressive, I have a weirauch hw100k carbine thumbhole, in .22, love the gun, only been shooting about two months, I know .177 are better for accuracy as they have flatter trajectory, but I chose .22 as I decided it would be better for hunting, I can only hope that I can become halff as good as yourself,
hi there after watching your video and i maneged to do it but was a chalenge compered to hft at 45 but what pellets do you use becoz i did not have enuth power to in go in to cared bored many thank look fowered to hearing from you kingkong
Will it be harder or impossible with 12ftlb .22 i like to have a go at joining the 200 mt club but the only 12ftlb .177 i have is a HW80 and i am not a good enough marksman with it ..mind you if i practice and did it maybe i can start a new 200mt springer class! my other guns are a webley raider and a logun s16s all are .22
what distance did you sight in ?...how many mils did you hold for 200 m ?..and pellet weight please...thank you so much im gonna try and rig mine for long range too...VERY good shootin...keep the good work up:)
@snowsk81 It is 800 fps .177 = 16joules/12ftlbs. These rifles are one of the most accurate ones on the market at just over £700, you might think that's expensive (not saying it cheap) but there are plenty which are much more money than that and no better. It is the easiest rifle to cock that I have ever used, it is an excellent smooth cocking system and has the easiest 14shot mag to load on the market too. I sound like a sales rep lol, I wish I had a quid for every time someone bought one :-)
Them 177's have a lovely flat trajectory which means you can be very accurate at longer ranges on the legal power limit. If that was .22 you'd have to aim somewhere near the top of the tree to hit the cans or have it tuned up to FAC levels.
great shooting cubley any doubters out there must seriously be lacking in skill and paitience to shoot at distance with sub 12ftlb all my air rifles are sub 12ftlbs and most manage 200 meters with clever scopeing keep on shooting cubley your a great shot very impressive
Szia! Gratulálok a fegyverhez!! Az előző kommentemet nem kritikának szántam!
@Tristy1987 I guessed you were only messing ;-) I worry too much about where the bullet ends up with 22lr or 17hmr :- [ .A hmr isn't cheap to run either.
In South Africa we dont have power restrictions only caliber restrictions. I have two HW 100's a 4.5mm in 28ft.lbs and a 5.5mm 39ft/lbs. Brilliant rifles. Anything above 5.59mm and power exceeding 6 joules must be licensed.
Hi Jes. cool I am pleased you have done it too, I know what you meen about having your legs calibrated LOL when I pace anything out I end up going further than I think.
Hi great shooting i had Theoban Eliminator and i used to shoot through the neck of dumpy beer bottles and knock out the bottoms at 175yds without knocking them off the fence and that was a break barrel with gas ram
@cubleycat its really weird! we have energy and velocity, but the two only really work in .177 cal since anything above that exceeds the energy law. But then its strange, if a guy built a 9mm air rifle that shot under 495 fps it would be legal, however a .22 call rifle shooting a 15.9gr pellet at 495 fps is legal until someone puts a 14.3gr pellet through since it now exceeds energy laws and velocity because in .22 cal 14.3 gr pellets are a standard. I wish it was just energy!
Sounds just about right for 200 meters. I count roughly 2 seconds from trigger pull to the sound of the hit. The round takes a little more than a second at subsonic speed to travel to the target. Then, less than a second for the speed of sound (343 meters per second) to return with report of the hit.
WOW!!! I have a .22 HW100 Mk1 and it's super accurate and I would've thought 70m would be pushing it. But 200m with a .177? That is incredible. I'll definitely do some more range work now. I use 16gr Logun Penetrators in mine and I've got an MTC Viper 10x44 Mil-Dot on top. I wonder what the BC is with the .177 'cos I bet it loses a lot of sting at that range. Either way that is bloody impressive. Are you on the AirgunBBS? You should put the video on there, that'll generate a lot of interest.
I am so jealous of you guys and your 12ft/lbs law... I love canada, but its drives me nuts that we're so tightly restricted with air guns. In order for me to shoot 200 yards even, I would have a 50 foot drop from my current zero at 45 yards. My barrel would be tilted almost 35 degrees in order to reach that 234" plateau that would literally drop my pellet anywhere close to my target... Sure makes me want to try!!! Good video
I can confirm this, ive done the same with my 177 HW100 at this range. Mine is also 12 ftlb To be honest i don't think we can adjust the power on mine or hers as ours are late 'tamerproof models'
david appleton Hi yes it will, you've got the power in a HW 80K. if you can find somewhere really dry like a freshly ploughed field you will see where your shot is going, thats the only way I managed to do it on the 200 yard shot and that took flipin ages the first time!
cubleycat Yes i have the power (11.8 on AAs)..just not know if i have the accuracy with i springer? it shoots vary nice as fitted with bonnie&clyde internals so no twang and soft recoil ...have a grass field behind me i think if i put target on a sheet of ply or an old door will help
Mark Lawrence Nice. the HW90 is another great weihrauch and you should have a go at the 200 meter, its an awesome feeling when you make the hit, just start with a big target that makes it easier, you will be amazed how long the pellet takes to get there lol.
No mine started at 11.5ftlbs, if you find 3 empty bean cans and line em up you should manage to get threw 2 and a half if not all 3 at close range, thats what my .177 does anyway! you could take it back to the shop and have it checked but give it a full tin of pellets 1st ;-)
Hi Emma, I think you are recognised as the original founder member of the the 200 club.Have you seen the Twig on the Airgungear channel ?,he does it with a Pro sport. Bought a HW100 after seeing you take this shot 3 years ago and got back in to the sport, thank you.All The best Jez
nice shooting, and nice rifle if i had to buy a pcp it would be this one but i love my hw97 and 77, i prefer the liveliness of a springer it feels more rewarding somewhat but i do love those 100's
i use a .177 daystate airwolf mvt and have taken rabbits at 90 yards a few times. wouldnt go any further then that on live targets but shoot paper targets at 150 yards.
Hi the mount was just a cheap ebay purchase, you just need to put packing under the rear off the scope only so the scope is looking down be a few degrees!
Its when your stood up shooting at 200m it becomes difficult. Laying down with a bi-pod at 200m is easy just aim and shoot and hope a gust of wind doesn't pick it up. maybe some scope adjustments but nothing major. good shooting :).
Good grief! Are there still doubters? I paced out 200m with my HW100, it was probably more tbh as my legs have not been calibrated recently ;-), but with holdover off the scope I was hitting an old pig shelter on my permission no problem. So the length thing is in no doubt.
Oh no I hope you like it lol. There are some people (on a weihrauch owners forum) who reckon my videos have had no influence on the HW100 sales lol. I don't claim the HW100 is the best ever made (its the one I like the best) and there are plenty more expensive PCP's that are no better, only thing is they are made in the UK where this is a German import, just like my car which just keeps on and on going ;-) PS have you seen "200 meter shot Weihrauch HW100 with 11.3fpe air rifle by cubleycat "
Only cardboard, about 4mm! Have a look at the latest one I did a few weeks ago called 200 meter shot Weihrauch HW100 with 11.3fpe air rifle by cubleycat ;-)
Arh thats why I only put 2 screws in each cap and didnt over tighten them but I see your problem with a high recoil rifle! Try copy n pasting 200 meter shot Weihrauch HW100 with 11.3fpe air rifle by cubleycat in the youtube search bar ;-)
Hi yes I mean shimming ;-) .I think if you shim or adjust the scope until you are hitting 350mm to 400mm above the aim point you should be pretty much on the cross hair, thats how mine was the other day. Have a look at the new 200 meter video I just uploaded ;-) "200 meter shot Weihrauch HW100 with 11.3fpe air rifle by cubleycat"
i love the hw100..its the best gun i have ever had..have you seen my videos..am shooting mine at nearly 90 yards..in 22 at 12 ftbs. and still smash beer bottles at that range..impressive i no..
@1chronicpls Hello my Canadian friend :-) I am sure it is very annoying. In the UK we have a sub 12ftlbs limit so the lager the pellet the slower it must travel to stay with in the law but as I understand it you are limited to 499fps which is odd as you could fire a 1kg slug which would kill someone I am sure! The people who think up these laws are not the brightest. I had to have a massive amount of hold over for this shot at 790fps 8.4grains
It's not to bad just make sure you got a safe back stop and your sorted. I pay £40 for 500 Winchester sub 22lr and for my hmr it's £11.50 for 50! My 22/250 it's expensive £25 for 20! That's a dangerous round so gotta b very careful with that one.. :)

I can confirm this, ive done the same with my 177 HW100 at this range. Mine is also 12 ftlb To be honest i don't think we can adjust the power on mine or hers as ours are late 'tamerproof models'
how much is your range finder and what make is it ?
Emma ..do you think it possible to do 100 meters with a springer ?..i have a 177 HW 80K i will have a go when we have no wind .when i have time
david appleton Hi yes it will, you've got the power in a HW 80K. if you can find somewhere really dry like a freshly ploughed field you will see where your shot is going, thats the only way I managed to do it on the 200 yard shot and that took flipin ages the first time!
cubleycat Yes i have the power (11.8 on AAs)..just not know if i have the accuracy with i springer? it shoots vary nice as fitted with bonnie&clyde internals so no twang and soft recoil ...have a grass field behind me i think if i put target on a sheet of ply or an old door will help
I did 100 meter with HW90. Same gun with gas ram ☺
Mark Lawrence Nice. the HW90 is another great weihrauch and you should have a go at the 200 meter, its an awesome feeling when you make the hit, just start with a big target that makes it easier, you will be amazed how long the pellet takes to get there lol.
ill try and reply with a video at some point
I do enjoy your excellent videos. Please record more!!
Bought a HW100 after seeing you take this shot 3 years ago and got back in to the sport, thank you.All The best Jez
hi cubbly, what scope do you have on the hw100
what did you pack in the scope mounts?
nice shooting, and nice rifle if i had to buy a pcp it would be this one but i love my hw97 and 77, i prefer the liveliness of a springer it feels more rewarding somewhat but i do love those 100's
i use a .177 daystate airwolf mvt and have taken rabbits at 90 yards a few times. wouldnt go any further then that on live targets but shoot paper targets at 150 yards.
No I haven't tried a .22, something wort giving a go!
what is a fx cutlas like to hunt with?
Great rifle, great!! What is the target?
Hi Krys, I payed £89 off ebay, very good range finder.
Please what scope mounts are you using. Cheers Tippo.UK.
Hi the mount was just a cheap ebay purchase, you just need to put packing under the rear off the scope only so the scope is looking down be a few degrees!
@@cubleycat Thanks. Cheers Tippo.UK.
what is the pellets do you use
wow thats some shooting there cubleycat...most impressed!
i love to watch in your videos again and again, you upload with HD because of the camara?
did someone generally call the police on you?
Its when your stood up shooting at 200m it becomes difficult. Laying down with a bi-pod at 200m is easy just aim and shoot and hope a gust of wind doesn't pick it up. maybe some scope adjustments but nothing major. good shooting :).
Can that be done with a 22 .. 12 lb
well, im going to get an air arms s400 .177 12 ftlbs with a walnut stock.
ill give it a go when i have space.
Someone ACTUALLY called the police? Wow, they have no life. Good Shooting though!
they look like logun penetrators
very heavy for sub 12, very loopy traj but carry far if you point them in the right direction ;)
yes I know it takes ages, just goes to show its is a long way, if those none believers are nerdy enough they could work out how far it is by the delay
@qrx67 Wow yes I know the gas rams are a formidable power unit!
Good grief! Are there still doubters? I paced out 200m with my HW100, it was probably more tbh as my legs have not been calibrated recently ;-), but with holdover off the scope I was hitting an old pig shelter on my permission no problem. So the length thing is in no doubt.
they were also used for their fur.
brought over and farmed by the normans around 1000 years ago until some escaped and bred like wild fire
Fantastic camera work..
I was a Bushnell Elite 6500 4.5-30 x 50 I used in this video !
Only cardboard, about 4mm! Have a look at the latest one I did a few weeks ago called 200 meter shot Weihrauch HW100 with 11.3fpe air rifle by cubleycat ;-)
Do you passes through tin?
208 yards ?
Arh thats why I only put 2 screws in each cap and didnt over tighten them but I see your problem with a high recoil rifle! Try copy n pasting 200 meter shot Weihrauch HW100 with 11.3fpe air rifle by cubleycat in the youtube search bar ;-)
200M sub12ft/lbs who would have believed it huh!? but the proof is in the video! these are some excellent shooting skills no doubts about it
Yeah I know but they should just try it and they will see. there are so many people who just say no its not possible but they should give it a go.
Üdvözlet! Szép a puska de 200méter kicsit soknak tünik!!??
@1chronicpls Hello my Canadian friend :-) I am sure it is very annoying. In the UK we have a sub 12ftlbs limit so the lager the pellet the slower it must travel to stay with in the law but as I understand it you are limited to 499fps which is odd as you could fire a 1kg slug which would kill someone I am sure! The people who think up these laws are not the brightest. I had to have a massive amount of hold over for this shot at 790fps 8.4grains
Thanks I will give it a go early and let you know
@FJTNAT LOL yes they are getting big and complicated now
It's not to bad just make sure you got a safe back stop and your sorted. I pay £40 for 500 Winchester sub 22lr and for my hmr it's £11.50 for 50! My 22/250 it's expensive £25 for 20! That's a dangerous round so gotta b very careful with that one.. :)
