Great video, I was going to go into airsofting as I went the other day and loved it, but when we went to the gun shop, my dad and I fell in love with the air guns!
A pleasure seeing your videos. I'm sure this is very helpful for people who are getting back into it, as everything has changed so very much in this world of airguns, take care.
Great video. A note about CO2 guns: I've got an Umarex PPK/s CO2 pistol (uses some of the gas for blowback, so this one does have some kick to it) and made the mistake of leaving a full CO2 canister in it for a couple of weeks once (manual even said not to do that). It seemed to affect the seals temporarily so that I could hear gas leaking out of it when I put in a new canister. A few canisters with Pellgunoil on the tip run through it fixed it that time and I haven't made that mistake again.
Nice video, my heart was in my mouth when you cocked the under lever, bear trap or not. Keep your hands clear.Old school me. Gonna dust my old guns off. Keep video coming guns have changed a lot since I was shooting ft.
Very lovely and informative video from a very lovely lady. Does my heart good to see a woman stepping forward for shooting sports. :) Also watch a couple of RC videos. Good stuff as well. Cheers from North America!
Spring powered air rifles are harder to shoot accuratley than a "real" firearm. They are very hold sensitive, which requiresmastering the "Artillery" hold. Follow through is critical due to lock time while the piston travels forward. (much like in a muzzleloader). They are a great way to practise your marksmanship.
@6185801 You make some good points, the thing with live fire rifles is the bullet leaves the barrel before the rifle kicks pretty much and doesn't affect your aim anything like a spring powered air rifle that jumps before the pellet leaves the barrel and that does affect you aim quiet a lot so the PCP or pre charged rifle is similar on accuracy to the live fire but as its nothing like as powerful you don't get the kick. Thats what I think anyway :-)
great vid, one thing i would point out though if this is for people new to shooting is the correct way of holding a spring piston rifle when loading, you should always keep a hand on the barrel once it is cocked as if the sear/anti bear trap should fail you may loose your fingers if you dont have a tight grip on it.
Great video , was looking at one at my local gun shop today . Only minor thing . Bar to psi is x 14.7 ( atmospheric pressure ) not 16 unless 2500 feet underground .
I saw you're video on the HW100 i called at you're shop and purchased a HW97. I was looking for the new walther, it was'nt till i had purchased the 97 that i realised you stocked the walther.
I'm new to air rifle shooting. Took your advice and started off with a Weihrauch 97K springer. Very pleased with it. After firing several pellets to get use to it I find the accuracy outstanding. Shooting in an indoor range at 35 yds. I can cover a 5 shot group, not all the time I'll admit, with a nickel. Usually all the time with a quarter. Not sure what those coins equate to in your money system.
+Bob USA Hi Bob its hard to go wrong with Weihrauch ;-) and I am pleased this video helped you chose a rifle you like, its your kind of comment that makes it all worth doing. :-) Emma.
Great respect Emma, for doing your video. It's really great to see a lady into air rifles, though all really rather puzzling! Point one. You never, ever let go of the cocking lever/air rifle barrel, when cocking an air rifle, ever. Point two. The Air Arms Pro Sport, is one of the best spring air rifles ever made. It's British and runs on nylon glides. Given its popularity, craftsmanship and genuis, I'm amazed you had to physically turn the air rifle upside down, to find the identity. Point three. With great respect, I just didn't pick up on any passion/ enthusiasm, at all, being in the company of works of art/craftsmanship. Best wishes, take care, Ian Woods.
Great vid mam 👍 I know it's already been said but yeh it's nice to see a woman and a fellow Brit doing this for a change 👌, Ima weihrauch Hw90 parent here but always wanted a pro sport💚 Myyy goodnes whata beuty he/she is! Cheers 🍻
good informative video Emma as usual but I must say this for the inexperienced shooter....hold the underlever/barrel on a spring gun unless you want to lose a finger at some point
Remember to hold the barrel or underlever whilst loading spring powered air rifles for your own and others safety. the cheap one looks like a smk b2, and dont forget the gas rams :) Happy shooting.
It's so reassuring to see a woman in a house like this.. shooting an air rifle into an old phonebook on the couch. Women are more prone to saying to any bloke in the house with the intention of firing his air rifle the following words: "You are NOT shooting that gun in the lounge. Don't be ridiculous.. you will damage the furniture!!!". Ha ha!! I enjoyed the vid for that reason alone, but the whole thing is encouraging and informative and fun to watch. THANKS! :-)
When you've cocked the rifle for safety's sake keep hold of the barrel/underlever while loading. With the underlever you could lose the tip of your finger if it goes off.
So am i correct in saying instead of buying a big cylindar of compresed air to charge the rifle . You can use a pump instead. As long ad the pump is made for the airrifle
Yes I know it is best practice to keep hold when loading, I do with under levers usually but don't think about it with break barrels! good thing to point out though ;-)
Nice video, I did cringe a little on the second rifle when you put your left hand between the stock and the lever,I know there is a anti beartrap but best to be on the safe side. Hope to see some more vids from you.
Love my stoeger x20 too, gotta v max too both .177 less then £200 and great for hunting and hft goin to get a pcp next enjoy your video s be nice to see a lot of old ones removed now,not yours just goin through em now I meant 1 yr plus by other users.
droopysquire yeh stoeger air rifles are good, depending which version you have if its got a suppressor they are smooth and quiet. Glad you are enjoying the videos ;-)
Perfect video to learn the Basics from as i'm Just about to join an Air rifle club a couple of miles from me and i'm going to Buy a Single shot Air Arms S400 Classice with mod and i'll get the scope etc just for Targets from 8 yards to 25 yards to 50+ yards how do you Keep the guns clean ..Barrel etc and what other kinds of upgrades can you add to the Pneumatic SS rifles? Thankyou for uploading it helped me decide about rechaging too i will get a gas bottle and get it refilled about £5 you say?
Does a pcp need a lot of maintenance.. Also does break barrels need oiling etc regularly, will it damage or shorten its lifetime if you don't oil the major parts, could you make a video on how to and what to oil etc etc.. Thx in advance. Great to the point videos, without any bullsxxt..786
Not really, you just up your precision, PCP rifles will put groups inside 10mm at 50 metres. With the naked eye you cant even see it at that range. It still takes a lot of skill to do, and if that's not hard enough for you you can shoot at 90m at some air rifle clubs. Just holding the reticule steady enough to shoot such small groups is very challenging.
thanks I see a lot of people running patches with oil or cleaning stuff. I thought the only reason to do stuff like that is because of gun powder. Your videos are great keep putting up more.
Trying to get my Mrs into air rifle shooting, however she is very slight and has trouble using my break barrels and underleaver. Any recommendations for a cheap-mid price CO2 or PCP to get her started? Thanks, Mike.
Ppl in the US are still baffled how citizens of the UK let go their basic human rights to be armed... I can appreciate air guns, but damn... I sympathize for sure...
livebyreason its the "Do gooders" we call them, people like politicians who kiss the asses of those who hate guns because they think guns kill when its criminals who kill people and when you take away guns from law abiding citizens only the criminals have guns such as hand guns, even then if the criminals haven't got a gun they just go to the knife draw in their kitchen and find a big F*ck off knife and slit your throat! Not only that we open our selves up to any one who wishes to invade our country, all because of the dumb soft "do gooders" I don't know why we let our government take our right to defend our country away from us either livebryreason!
+cubleycat Yeah well said people need to arm themselves for the coming islamic apocalypse that the politicians are pushing us blindly into. Just look at the shootings in Manchester and London its always the same.
Would you be able to suggest some air rifles and scopes for hunting ? I am thinking of maybe gas ram or pcp multishot. Preferably underlever and 22. I don't mind used/old models refurbished oldey but goody and waiting to find the right one.
Somewhere in the world, there is a person who tried to make a video like this... but who shot out their window in the process, and quietly hit delete without posting it.
Helpfull video for beginners, but to put your left hand at 1.44 where the underlever could snap shut causing injury to yourself.Never put faith in saftey catches etc any working part can fail, but apart from my rant a good infomative clip ATB IAN
I used to have a Crossbow,( Very good for hunting, never needed to buy any more than 4 bolts as I always got them back), I move to U.K and I'm not allowed to hunt with a Bow or a Crossbow. Why is this ???
Great little intro. Many thanks! Particularly liked how you demonstrated how easy it was to work with the PCP rifles.
nice to see a British lady so clued up, will be subscribing
Good informative video ! Its nice to hear a lady talk guns ( nice voice ) instead of the usual geezers ! You are a rare breed here in the UK ! ;)
Really refreshing too see a lady producing this type of video, thankyou very much.
Great video, I was going to go into airsofting as I went the other day and loved it, but when we went to the gun shop, my dad and I fell in love with the air guns!
I bought mine from a gun shop in Belper near Derby, it is an SMK B2, cheap as chips but works!
Just like me, one break-barrel, one under-lever and one pcp. Good combo!
Excellent video, a lot of basic and correct knowledge and information and a pleasant voice. Well done!
A pleasure seeing your videos. I'm sure this is very helpful for people who are getting back into it, as everything has changed so very much in this world of airguns, take care.

They recommend using a silicone spray which makes the seals on them last much longer!🤔👍
really a nice video, very useful expecially for those that are new to our world
well done , many sincere compliments from Holland
Fabio
I didn't know a great deal about pcp's, so I found your video really helpful. Thanks😊
Thanks glad you found it some help.

very useful, thanks for taking the time to share your experience
Excellent video! Good overall view of types of air rifles.
Anyone who wants an airrifle should watch this I had to figure it out myself this is great.
Great video , was looking at one at my local gun shop today .
Only minor thing . Bar to psi is x 14.7 ( atmospheric pressure ) not 16 unless

Great to see a lady making a video, knows more than most men
Great vid mam 👍 I know it's already been said but yeh it's nice to see a woman and a fellow Brit doing this for a change 👌,

Another great review, We Need More Ladies In the sport.
Great quality product
Watched your video again thanks for the help....ended up getting a 95k springer and a bsa and scorpion single shot......
mark hinde Nice choices :-)
Hi Krys I have had about 7 of them now, I go off shooting and sell them but keep coming back and its got to be a HW100 every time ;-) Kind regards :-)
It's been a while since your last vid. I figured you stopped posting, but it's great to see you back,
Very nice video Emma ! The AirArms pro sport is my favorit ! (well, i am a springer freak ;-)
Refreshing to see and hear from the female perspective. Looks like your well into the sport.
You have a nice little collection there, great little video thanks for sharing!🙂✌️
good informative video Emma as usual but I must say this for the inexperienced shooter....hold the underlever/barrel on a spring gun unless you want to lose a finger at some point
@1Equinox1 very good point, yes its a b2. The air arms has a ratchet system to prevent it from closing on you but you never know!
This was very informative, thank you.
Nicely presented.
Remember to hold the barrel or underlever whilst loading spring powered air rifles for your own and others safety. the cheap one looks like a smk b2, and dont forget the gas rams :) Happy shooting.

Thank you for a very informative video.
Great informative video. Cheers.
thanks for the nice selection of air weapons
GREAT INFO.
When you've cocked the rifle for safety's sake keep hold of the barrel/underlever while loading. With the underlever you could lose the tip of your finger if it goes off.
Interesting and informative - thanks !
Thank you . Very much enjoyed the info and the video .
@zippy5081 Yes I know it is much more of a challenge using a spring rifle, The AA prosport is a nice rifle!
Artillery hold is important on a Springer mainly because the recoil of a spring moves the rifle forwards and backwards almost at the same time.
Thank you for your videos I really enjoyed this one and hope to pop into Belper guns quite soon
Very informative video, thank you. what was the model of the second air pistol.?
Very helpful. Thank you.
Thank you, very good presentation x
So am i correct in saying instead of buying a big cylindar of compresed air to charge the rifle . You can use a pump instead. As long ad the pump is made for the airrifle
Handy guide. Thanks for sharing.
Yes I know it is best practice to keep hold when loading, I do with under levers usually but don't think about it with break barrels! good thing to point out though ;-)
do you like silencer gun?
cubleycat are you still around ?
Nice video, I did cringe a little on the second rifle when you put your left hand between the stock and the lever,I know there is a anti beartrap but best to be on the safe side. Hope to see some more vids from you.
Well Done Great to see More Ladies getting into the Air Rifles!😉
@Tristy1987 try shooting a powder burner in a neighborhood, it doesnt go over well.
Thanks for letting me know, it should be back up now ;-)
Lady, your pretty damn cool. I wish I lived next door to you
Would deffo be a good neighbour . Great for a chat and comparisons.
+616Haggard Yeah and she doesnt bullshit like most folks these days! Top burd!
@buddycraigg Yes its a different type of discipline that is required when shooting a springer
Nice video. I'm impressed
@mattblinge
it is a HW 35
Great video.
Amazing video helped me out thanks
Glad you like it, thanks :-)
Nice one Keep them coming Please Cheers Vince

@jordanrussell123 it is pretty quiet but the mic over compensates
My kind of girl for sure..

where did u buy 35 pound one and who makes and what model
i have the hw100s..simply the best pellet rifle money can buy..
well done, all good info
Love your HW100 beautifull rifle umm what hand pump do you use for it ?
good informative vid, thanks for posting.
I was wondering how much maintenance do u need for a pellet riffle . I was wondering if u could up some more videos on the up keep of the riffles.
Its pretty much just keep a coat of light oil on the metalwork to prevent rust tbh
thanks I see a lot of people running patches with oil or cleaning stuff. I thought the only reason to do stuff like that is because of gun powder. Your videos are great keep putting up more.
I have to agree with spring rifles having some kick. My Gamo has more recoil than my 10-22

Perspective is everything, but here in the US - the Israeli influence seems far more damaging...to everyone, globally.

@No1Richman yes it is a b2

Jeffrey Hawkins hahaha ;)
Excellent !!!
is that an air arms pro sport?? i love it.
that pro sport is nearly silent is it like that off camera did the camera make it like that
What would be your own discharge rate.???
Is the last one the one u use in ur shooting vids?
did u consider the theoben rapid rather than the hw100?
Helpfull video for beginners, but to put your left hand at 1.44 where the underlever could snap shut causing injury to yourself.Never put faith in saftey catches etc any working part can fail, but apart from my rant a good infomative clip ATB IAN

how many shots will a fill of gas on the last gun do
@cubleycat well we are glad for it thanks!

+GetThePig Yes you are you just need to make sure no one catches you!
lol
What was the name of that Break barrel rifle? It looked like an smk b2 not sure if it was or not though.
