I just want to say I’ve been doing RC for a long time and I understand the time that goes into things. But this has completely blown my mind. I know now that it’s not just a money thing when these have a mechanical failure or crash. The amount of time invested in triple checking and programming. Everything is absolutely incredible. I must give you praise for the amazing job you’ve done with this one.
What is being shown is just like the training for full scale airplanes. Trust no one. Assume that they didn’t take the time to do it right, just get it gone so you can move on to the next one. Some people would call it anal retentive, others who know will say that it is doing the job correctly. This is a learned skill set that only comes with time and research. Thanks to this marvelous electronic innovation we call the web, information is readily acquired, unlike the bad old days when a lot of these “secrets “ were carefully hoarded and bad practices were more the norm unless you had “connections “ in the industry. Of course you have to have some knowledge to know whether the presenter is doing Justice or blowing smoke. Jon knows what to do! 😊
thank you very much! I completely agree with what you have said. to @codyvirga If you don't do all this stuff now you will do it at the field while your wanting to fly or wish you did it when your putting your plane in a trash bag.
I just turned 50 in September. I have loved AirPlanes and RC AirPlanes ever since I was very young. My Uncle had a Cessna and like 10 Rc Planes so I was hooked at a young age like I said. Your videos have made the RC Bug come back to me so Im not sure if I want to cuss you or thank you..... Thank you of course!!!!!! All of your videos are amazing and your personality is part of it. Just wanted to say Thank You my friend!!!
Yes unlikely. The purpose of it is to prevent the gear from pushing the doors open during high G manuvers. The gear on the F16 doesn't have a physical lock on the gear so it's air pressure holding them up.
@@thelightersideofrc Hello, yes work very very well right .... Please on last video if you can detailled where you fix the drag chute regards adam !!!!!
Well this series has seriously convinced me to not ever go near BVM. The amount of stuff overlooked (ie no loctite) the copious cheap/defective hardware (bent and sloppy pushrods, really?) and their absolute reluctance to modernize systems (pneumatic systems in 2023? seriously?) And they still have the gall to comand 5 digit prices on their planes on top of that, when some parts seem like they've been pulled from a 1990s bottom shelf Hobbico trainer? And then having to invest dozens of man hours, if not hundreds, just to fix their mistakes? No thanks. I'll stick to CARF. They may not have the Top Gun winning eye candy BVM has but the quality especially of the hardware and craftsmanship is top notch. Their instruction manuals are garbage though I'll say that much. I was seriously considering the BVM F-15 after seeing it fly in person but if they have these many QC issues in one of their flagship models I don't want to know that they have in their lower end models.

Beautiful clean plane design 👍👍👍
Cheers from Munich, Sven 🍺
Thank you! Cheers!
Amazing job with modifications to the aircraft sir.
Thank you very much!
Another video that didn't disappoint. Im using you light lense technique. Will any clear coat work?
Thank you! Yes any clear will work.
I'm concerned that those gear lock servos could end up in a stalled situation if the notch does not quite line up correctly.
Unlikely I guess.

@thelightersideofrc yep, it's a great idea for sure.
Hello ! Amazing progress whooooaaaaoooh !! Will you leave the air valves stock system or will you replace with other valves ?? thank Adam ;-))
Hey. Thank you! Air valves will stay with the stock system. It works well from what others have told me.

hello, which snakeskin do you use? I like the look of it
Grey stuff is from Dreamworks. Black stuff is from princess auto here in Canada.
Sir hi, if I may say, the speed brakes are not flushed (Closed), please check this.I am only trying to help you Thanks
Thank you. No air in the system so they won't stay closed.
