    Oh this is a super easy question to answer of the two dozen holsters I have tried the
    JX Tactical
    Fat Guy Holster
    Is the best and I’m not fat but it just works so great at keeping it from printing because of wind etc and it’s comfortable.
    I have given so many failed holster designs away I paid lots of money for after carrying one of these

      I just went and took a look. They look like good holsters Im just not a fan of not having a concealment claw or at least having an option for a light. I have seen some videos about larger guys going with a deeper ride with their holster and it giving more comfort. Ive tried it and its got its perks but at the end of the day I have to have it up high enough to get a solid grip when I draw otherwise I dont feel comfortable carrying it.

      They are good holsters. That’s what comes on the Enigma Express. I think they have a great fit and the retention is just right. The two downsides for me is no sweat guard or ability to customize for a weapon mounted light. If all you want is a base model type holster then the Phlster Skeleton is a great choice. If you need a little more out of your holster then I’d recommend McKinatec

    New Hellcat pro comp owner. I have a stupid question. If I order the talon holster with light and optics ad-one, will the stock gun fit right? I don’t know if I will purchase a light or optics, but want the add-ons in case I do purchase in the future. Thanks

    • @360TacticalSolutions
      @360TacticalSolutions  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Just to be clear, you are asking of the gun in its stock configuration will work in the holster made for a gun with light will still work when there is no light attached? If that is the question…no. A light bearing holster clamps on to the body of the light. A non light bearing holster clamps on to the trigger guard. Without having the light attached the gun will just rattle around in the holster made for a light. I hope I made that make sense lol its been a long week

    I'm about the buy a holster and your videos on the hellcat pro are always so helpful. I'm leaning towards a Talon like yours but I was curious what you did about holding an extra mag. I live in CA so magazine size is limited to 10 and I most likely would need a spare mag. Do you think the Talon is worth it over the Kina flex that has a mag holder?

    • @360TacticalSolutions
      @360TacticalSolutions  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Honestly most of the time I go minimalistic, no extra mag. I spent last Friday in Seattle which is a total shit hole. I did actually carry a spare mag that day because of where I was. Unfortunately it was just loose in my pocket. I have a flex rig ordered and hopefully I see it in the next couple weeks. That would be my choice for days where I need an extra mag

    Nice review. While some may complain about cost, etc... I think you need to think about it as quality, made with purpose for serious everyday carry. Kind of like rifles, the saying for your optics, get the best quality, don't skimp. Same for holsters, cheap holsters suck. This is your support system for the tool that may have to save your life.
    I see so many people invest in very nice, expensive guns and then put very little thought into a good holster.
    Just my thoughts on the importance of a carry system.

      I get dozens of comments daily from people with so many opinions on everything from my style to things like holster choices. It boggles my mind how someone can buy a good quality gun and then put a trash light or optic on it and defend the choice feverishly. Im not against saving money, Im against saving it at a cost of quality, craftsmanship and security. You are 100% right. Im not going to put my $3000 Staccato in a $20 Amazon holster and then trust my life to it.The Mckinatec holster line up are great quality. The only drawback is that the lead times are a bit long. Then again you aren't getting one off the shelf...its being made to your specifications when you order it

    • @360TacticalSolutions
      @360TacticalSolutions  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you take a look at the two pictures the slimline has a single wide belt clip attached at the same point as the concealment claw. The standard Talon has the double wide belt clip mounted in the center of the holster. Really it’s all personal preference and I prefer a wide clip centered on my holster. For me that gives a good balance for the holster rather than having it mounted on the side. I do have a slimline and it’s not bad, I just prefer the other

    I purchased this holster based off your recommendation and I like it so far and the first IWB holster I've owned. It fits really snug with my TLR-7 sub, however it doesn't 'click' into place like some other holsters are designed to. How much does this matter?

    • @360TacticalSolutions
      @360TacticalSolutions  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I wouldnt at all worry about that. If it’s a fabric wrapped holster that is super common. The fabric insulates the sound a lot. The other thing is that light bearing holsters tend to not have that audible click sound. Thats because the retention is set at the light vs the trigger guard. There isnt anything to “snap” into with a light like there is on the trigger guard. As long as your gun feels secure but at the same time isnt so tight that you cant draw it, then you are good. How do you like that TLR7 Sub? Im considering ordering one

    • @ModestOutlaw
      @ModestOutlaw ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@360TacticalSolutions Good point about not really having the ability to click in place with a light, I hadn't thought of that. Still, I'd like it if the Talon came with a retention screw-- might be something I play around with adding myself. I like the TLR-sub, it's size:light output ratio to me is good and pretty similar in output to the Olight PL-Pro I have on my XDM Elite. I also got the hel-port done on it, which I'm a personal fan of, and of course the Apex trigger. I appreciate your recommendations, they've worked out well so far!

      I hadn’t heard of it till you posted this. Looks like they are an exclusive for Springfield. Honestly I can think of a dozen thing to spend that kind of money on before that holster. If it were half that price then I’d buy one. The retention on the trigger guard looks like its going to have a solid click which I love but thats the only positive I can give it. No options for sweat guard, no options for different kydex, built in concealment wing, low end hardware. S&W used to do these range packages where you got the pistol and a couple extra mags and a mag carrier/holster combo. They were super generic and really were no replacement for a good quality holster. I feel like thats what the Dual Point 2.0 is. Save some money and buy a Talon lol you will be a lot happier

      @@210s0uthstar just some advice so you know what you are getting into. With a light bearing holster the retention is on the light instead of the trigger guard. It feels like it’s not as secure because you dont get the same click when you put it in the holster. Thats because theres not a lot of way for the holster to squeeze the light. Thats fine. It’s not going anywhere. The tension created from your belt and pants keeps things where they need to be. Always gotta have the right expectations and a lot of people get upset when they order a light bearing holster and it doesnt click like their other ones. WML is always a good idea, especially if you have to go checking your house in the middle of the night

Because that that 180 tactical crack was incredible. I mean side splitting, shit yourself laughing and not at all just a dig to be an asshole right out the gate. Only a comedic genius like Chappelle could have dreamt up that comedy gold that you supplied us with there.
      Now if we can move past your embarrassing attempt at flaming the channel name and finally feeling some kind of superiority in life....actually I have 3 different lights here in my office that im testing for this gun. I haven't narrowed it down as to which one I want to keep on the Hellcat Pro full time. I ordered the holster a few days before I even went to buy the gun. I wanted to get a feel for the Hellcat Pro first as a gun just with iron sights and then second with a red dot. While going through the introduction period I will commonly switch between different lights till I find the one that I think suits the gun as well as myself best. So I guess the short answer is that I do have a weapon light, you just came looking for a reason to leave a shitty comment so congrats. Hope that made your day 👍

      Mmnnn the holster isn’t meant to protect the glass on the red dot. Actually the only holster you will find that does that is an outside the waistband duty holster that has a hood that covers the red dot. I think there might be two companies maybe 3 that make those. I don’t know what’s going to scratch your red dot while it’s in the appendix position but I feel like you are over thinking it. A good quality red dot is going to take quite a bit in order to scratch the glass and concealing it isn’t enough to do that
