I’m debating to get a pro or not. I’ve been carrying a Glock 19 for a while not but every time I go shoot it; it becomes uncomfortable after about 75 rounds because of that infamous “Glock knuckle” and it becomes unpleasant to shoot. Did you notice this issue with the hellcat?
@@avalentino2386I've got fairly big hands and glocks have never done this to me. Personally I still like and carry glocks. And I like and carry SA too
I’m starting to love the Hellcat Pro. I didn’t like it at first, but then after about 700 rounds I started getting good with it, and now I love this gun. Swapped out the stock trigger for an Mcarbo today and it feels much better. The slide action has eased up a little, but I’m hoping it will loosen up even more at about 1200-1500 rounds. Next my next mod will be the slide lock lever because it is indeed FLAT.
It will definitely loosen up over time. If you are looking for the new slide lock I really like the one Apex is making now. You can find a discount code for it in my Apex video descriptions
I'm now, where you were then. I love the gun, I just can't shoot it worth a crap. I ran another 100 or so rounds through it today and found out I was using my sights wrong. So next weekend I'll be ready with her. Thank you for this.
Bang on in the review. I really like your channel. I just want to hear the facts, no BS, and no overly produced irritating music. I bought the Hellcat Pro as well when it came out and I completely agree about the trigger. Thanks for the Apex link. Will check it out. One thing that is different is that my gun shoots low. So accuracy is off and so is precision which gets worse as your distance to the target increases. I wish the sites were adjustable. Maybe I should get a red dot too? I just didn’t want a red dot for my carry pistol. Anyone else have these precision and accuracy grievances? Other than that…luv the Hellcat Pro.
I really appreciate the comment. I get a lot of shit from people because they want to skip the information and just be entertained…there’s dozens of channels that will show them how many pounds of butter it takes to stop a 50cal, but there aren’t enough channels that focus on providing information and insight. So I just do what I do and try to do it the best I can. As far as your sights go I actually have two HCP. One is totally stock and the other one has all the upgrades. Over the weekend I was filming for the upcoming video on the DPM recoil reduction system and I was sorting my stock Hellcat Pro. I noticed it was a bit low as well. Roughly 25 yards and my shots were tending to hit about 2-3 inches low. I don’t shoot iron sights much so that really fucked with me head lol. With my other HCP, wherever that red dot is that’s where the bullet is going to impact. It never fails. Red dot tech these days is much more reliable than people give it credit for. My advice would be to add an RMR CC or a Holosun 407/507K to your gun depending on your budget and what kind of dot you prefer. If you don’t have a lot of time and experience on a dot, train like crazy at home doing dry fire practice. Draw, aim, fire…over and over till finding the dot is second nature.
I have a number of different pistols I have purchased or inherited over the years ! I purchased the first Hellcat after some research as to its reliability and to cycle all the ammunition ! It works and the price was right ! The PSA dagger sure looks good though !
HCP really shines when you start swapping out some of the parts. I got the extended control set and Type 3 trigger from Apex, compensator from Herrington Arms, threaded OEM barrel, and, of course, light and red dot sight. Idk if I’ll ever need anything else. Looks and feels amazing.
@360TacticalSolutions I agree. Im super pleased with my Echelon especially. And the thought of getting a prodigy has crossed my mind quite a few times! We'll see. Cheers
Thanks for the honest review, new subscriber here. Have the Hellcat, no issues at all. Looking at the Pro now and I'm sure the Apex trigger as well... lol
I decided on the x macro. One of the points you made was that the x macro is a few hundred bucks more only for 2 more rounds. But you also stated that you should just buy a new trigger right when you get a hell cat pro and at that point they’ll both be the same price. I think the sig triggers are solid which is why I went for it. Nice review
Well it’s more than just a difference of two rounds and $300. I think people should buy what feels good to them. Thats number one. For my hand the Sig doesnt feel as comfortable and it didnt feel to have much if any reduction in recoil considering it has a “built in comp”. Even at the same price I couldnt see an advantage to the sig. The Apex trigger for a HCP is like $80 so that still comes in way under the Sig. Again that upgrade for me was a matter of finger comfort more than trigger operation. I have a buddy that has the HCP and he loves the stock trigger. What I really like is that I can buy a Hellcat Pro and the Holosun 407K and be right in the same range as the XMacro without an optic. Also just as full disclosure goes I am working on buying an sig to build out. I think they are great guns…I just feel the HCP holds the all around advantage over it in every category
@@360TacticalSolutions that’s fair. I was able to hold a hell cat pro for the first time yesterday. I liked the way it felt but I hated the slide stop on it, just couldn’t get a good grip on it like I can on the sigs. Would like to see a sig build in the future 👍🏼
I have a hell cat pro and I am a lefty . I really enjoy this gun and agree with your points about how the weapon functions. I have 6 magazines ( 1 in place of the range bag ) for the price and what all I got with it, it’s definitely a good deal. The price is what ultimately helped me decide between the Hellcat and the new sig.
@@roperboy87 well since my post FN has dropped a new 509 and Canik has a new carry model out as well. However I find myself carrying the Hell cat pro daily but may pickup a hellcat.
Hellcat ops and a lefty! I like it better than the sig p365 .. in California the price difference isn’t much maybe like 100$ or less. The spring field for the WIN!
I carry the original Hellcat most of the time when I'm out. Love the gun. I installed an MCARBO trigger kit and it has made my shooting more enjoyable and accurate. Never had a malfunction before or after the trigger upgrade.
I've rented the Hellcat platform, and compared to the Sig P365 platform and although I do like the Hellcat platform, Sig just feels much better, has better sights, and certainly a much better trigger. I wouldn't call the Hellcat lineup a slouch by any means. You can't really go wrong with any of those 2 brands. I made this comparison a few times before deciding my purchase. The Sig felt better when firing, the Hellcat felt better releasing the mags to reload. I'm not a brand loyal person, so I'd say you have to try them both side by side and live fire at the range.
Never buy before live firing for yourself. I will say the original Hellcat, the smaller one..it's garbage. I don't like it at all. Ridiculously snappy. You are right that you can't go wrong between the sig or the HCP but like you said it's all about what works for you. I went out this morning and put another 300 rounds through the Hellcat Pro along with some other guns. I love it, it really just fits me. Too often people watch reviews, hold a gun in hand at the gun store and make a decision based on that. Ive seen people shoot really well and be really comfortable with a S&W Shield...but I have a hell of a time controlling that gun. Maybe its the size or the shape of the grip or who knows what but its not for me. Feels good in the gun store but not so much on the range. Try before you buy lol
I think it is about what feels comfortable as the most deciding factor; ironically, I didn’t pew t that until after being in the Navy…. Anyhow, I was a fan of Glock for nearly two decades, then tried Sig, Springfield, and others… It was really close between the Sig and Springfield; my brother prefers the Sig, but I went with the Springfield XD-E… Personally, not only do I like the the size, but I like the hammer control (DA/SA)… However, I am jealous that more recent handguns have the capability for Red/Green Dot Sights… But, pretty sure my wife would not be too happy with me purchasing another firearms just because I want different sights! Great video, thanks!
My dad bought the 3.1 inch p365 and I agree the trigger felt phenomenal and I was pretty damn accurate too, however with the hellcat I don’t have to slam the mag in & ejecting/reloading is definitely more effortless
Watching your video convinced me to add the Holosun, but i did the green dot. Love this gun. Although i have others i like to carry i don't think any of which are a replacement for the others. They're just something different. Love the honesty of your content.
Thanks. I really appreciate it. I like to watch some of the theatrical type gun content on YT but when im looking to inform myself about a purchase...I need honest information without all the Hollywood bs or the bias that some of these channels have.
First I’d like to say I really appreciate this review and you taking your time to explain how you felt about everything. BUT the second most important thing I appreciate you stating you’re an addict because I’m the exact same way when it comes to firearms and you’re the first person I’ve watched to actually put in words for me to explain to my wife 😂
Haha some people just don’t get it. I’m over here in the corner in the fetal position rocking and scratching just doing everything I can to not go buy another gun. I mean I know I only have two hands but there are so many guns that I want, so many that I must have lol. As soon as I buy one I’m researching the next one. Right now I have 3 on my list and I don’t even feel bad about buying them
alnk.to/fayMYiZ Back in stock but looking at my data for today…people have purchased 6 of them through my links today so if you are in the market for one, click that link and get one while you can. I do have more good stuff coming for the HCP real soon. Thanks for the encouragement
Great video. I am a big fan of my p365 and got a Pro a few months ago. Although I still prefer my Sig for EDC, the Pro has been a great performer at the range. It’s just a little too large for me to edc comfortably. So is the 43x. I don’t care what the wife says, size DOES matter.
I was REALLY excited for you guys when the announcement was made the HCP made your list. Fuck the roster BTW lol...but still, good to see you have access to the HCP now. When you start upgrading just remember 360TS is going to get you a price break at Apex, Optics Planet and Floyds Custom Shop. This gun has soooo much potential
For the slide release issue, they should add material to the bottom and have it chamfered in so it gives more surface area and leverage to release but still minimize the amount it sticks out
I love my hellcat, very reliable, very concealable. Your are correct. I can’t find anything to replace it. So I’m going to purchase an xdm elite 9mm 4.5 with two 35 round Springfield mags for home defense.
They are great guns. I have another video releasing tomorrow about new upgrades and then I have a new recoil spring system that im testing out for review as well.
I have hellcat osp and pro. Both are excellent. Zero malfunctions in either. Impressive reliability and build. The feedramp feels and looks like glass on both.
Well said. Picked one up just recently with the 6 mags. Fits like a glove, shoots like a dream, carries amazingly, and hasn't had a hint of a malfunction after a bit over 500 rounds so far. Great video and well said.
@@360TacticalSolutions Damn man. In GA I get to enjoy my 6 15 rounders (MSRP 42 a pop). Ended up being 550 (600 after tax). They had another set with 5 mags and a range bag--I got this since that's what my favorite local gun store had but it worked out 'cause I just got a maxpedition compact range bag and it kicks ass.
Thank you. I appreciate the comment. Do you have a local range with a rental program that has one? I love the Hellcat Pro but I always advise people to get some shots through a gun before making that investment. As of this moment I haven’t been able to find something that fits my needs better than this gun but you never really know how it will fit you till you fire it
Phenomenal gun. Make sure to check the other videos in my Hellcat Pro playlist. There is more to come in terms of content. The Hellcat Pro is the first gun thats made me say wow since the release of the M&P 2.0
This video couldn't be more accurate. Just like he said, the trigger, if you get a chance and have the extra buck, change it. Overall this gun is phenomenal. I have no issues carrying it, and it feels natural when shooting it (my opinion) super great content, straight to the point.
I use primarily AAC ammo. Usually 124 grain. I’ll leave a link in here for you. You wont find a better price on ammo for a more reliable source alnk.to/aANgcUJ
Still on the fence with the HCP and the trigger is a reason, but I do love the feel of it in my hand. Love Sigs, but the price on the HCP is so much better here in Kalifornistan than the P365 or P320 M18. Will probably buy the HCP in the next few weeks. Thanks for your impressions.
Best advice I can say is get some time live firing it. It’s good to take other peoples opinions into account when considering a new gun but at the end of the day the only thing that matters is how well you personally shoot it. If the trigger is a point of contention for you…well there’s an Apex to fix that lol
Yes, the Hellcat Pro with a holosun 507K is bad ass, a very nice high quality carry gun... Sig is way over priced for no reason... Sig is also good to, but not that good... :)
I recently picked up the hellcat pro and I agree completely with you in that the trigger needs changed. I have a p365x as well and it shoots fine with a decent trigger now the hellcat is every bit as accurate as the sig but not as easily accurate. The hellcat has a very stiff trigger definitely feels like 7lbs and if I’m not in my game with my grip and my trigger pull well I will throw my round completely off target where as this is not a issue with the sig at all. I will be putting the mcarbo system in it as the stock trigger is just awful and once that’s done I believe then that anyone even my wife will be able to easily put rounds on target consistently.
Ive actually used the MCarbo, original Apex and the new Type3 Apex triggers in my two Hellcat Pro's. I have videos for all 3. I find the Apex trigger to be a better trigger but I do like the Titanium striker set from MCarbo coupled with the Apex trigger. I need to order another titanium striker from MCarbo for my second HCP. If you do go Apex you can get 10% off of anything over there if you use 360TS as the discount code. Also im using the Talon Pro Grips on both my guns and that made it easier and more consistent with ease of accuracy.
@@360TacticalSolutions awesome, I appreciate that recommendation and the discount code. I watched all your trigger videos and decided to try the mcarbo just due to cost alone for the combo but if I don’t like it I know apex triggers are great as well since I have one in my M&p
I've been into guns for many years. I've waited a long time for this pistol. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of the CA edition, but since I can't purchase the regular one, I went ahead and ordered the CA version. I currently own and enjoy the Glock 20SF, but I'm looking for something smaller in 9mm while maintaining the same level of reliability. In my opinion, this is the best improved version of it.
I just got one for Xmas, your video is the best and most informative I've seen all week. Thank you! I'll definitely look into swapping triggers after I get a feel for her
It might be stiff but it’s okay,my hand is stiff too but it works for me, bought it 2023, spend for more than 1k rounds and counting, still a little stiff including my stiff hands but it works for me, I like all the the serial numbers all over the gun,if it’s stolen ,it can be trace from you as long as you report it to the authorities right away if it’s lost or stolen, just my opinion my friends ,anyway you’re doing a good job, 👏👏👏👏👍👍👍✌️👏 I like your vlog.
We got her one and we both love it... except that factory trigger. She was hesitant to replace it until she tried my Rival Dark Side, said "Its way to big but can we get a trigger like it for mine?" She finally let me order and install the Apex, and a Holosun green dot. All good now! Best part is we have $700 in it now with 5 mags and something she shoots VERY well and has no problems concealing on her small frame. Now that they have me not edc-ing my Dan Wesson .44 and moved on to the Rival after firing her Pro I think I need one myself, it is just that nice.
I spend nearly all my down time looking into guns, trying to find what's going to be the next big thing, always trying to find the gun thats a better fit. The Hellcat Pro is the perfect mix of capacity, over all size, thickness, weight, optic ready, perfect iron sights, grip texture and length. Really that trigger is the only shitty part and Apex fixed that. I did just add an extended slide release and im testing the apex threaded barrel. Should be another video real soon
Now that I'm really getting interested in this pistol I'm thinking I should just wait till after Shot Show which is coming up in a few weeks and see if there's a revised version. Thanks for the video, very informative. This morning is December 25th so Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas to you. These are great guns and I would be surprised if they came out with a revised version this year only because it hasn't been out quite long enough for that.
@@Shenmue06 you seem really excited about the mc9. I didn't get to shot show because of some family business but I spoke directly with a couple people whose opinion I trust that were there. The one thing that the mc9 has going fort it is its out of the box trigger. Thats it. The people I spoke with said that the grip length was no different than using something like a Shield or the smaller size Hellcat. Even with the included mag that has the pinky extension you end up with a gap in your palm which is going to lower your control over your grip. This gun is built like a thick S&W Shield that has a better than average trigger and a rail. Sure it's only .12" thicker than the Hellcat Pro but that makes a difference. The barrel on the mc9 is 3.18" which means that no matter what kind of springs that Canik uses...it's going to handle just like a Shield. The recoil is going to be snappy as fuck. There isn't a stock gun on the market in that range that can compete with the HCP because it's 3.7" which makes it closer to the 4" guns like a G19 or M&P. I have no doubt that the mc9 will hold to the standards that Canik has set for themself but there's nothing in its design or its specs that even hint that someone will regret buying a HCP. The price of $440 is the only advantage that gun has but if we are really going to put that as an important factor then why not just buy a Taurus G2C. Those guns are reliable, easy to find, and they cost about what I spend in coffee every two weeks. I guess my point is im not trying to shit all over the mc9, im just saying that people should have realistic expectations. If you buy this gun and you think its recoil is going to feel like or better than a gun who's barrel length is more than a half inch longer then you are probably either going to have buyers remorse or will have to just convince yourself you love the gun just because you spent the money on it. I try and be objective as possible. Im actively looking for a replacement for the HCP, not because I don't like it but thats what I do on this channel is try and find the best solutions for YOU guys. I'll try out the mc9 but Its not in the HCP class, its in the Hellcat class of firearms.
I don’t have a hellcat but I am looking at them. I do have a M&P 9 shield plus performance center and it’s phenomenal firearm If you find a comparison video between them it might make your purchase easier.
I gotta say as a long time S&W user the Shield Plus Performance was a let down. No accessory rail just doesn't make sense at all. 10 and 13 round mags with grip extensions? Why do they keep doing that. Just throw that shit out, extend the grip and stack 15 in the mag. I won't carry a gun that requires me to break grip and move my pinkie in order to change mags. It makes no sense considering you don't gain anything in terms of concealment. The Hellcat Pro proves that. Those two things make the Shield Plus Performance a no go for me. My love for S&W isnt stronger than logic when it comes to comparing that gun to the HCP.
@@360TacticalSolutions TY for saying this! I felt the same way about the Shield+ - So many people were trying to sell me on it, saying it was the most popular gun by far, it fires great, it feels great, "I carry two!". So I decided to compare the Sheild +, Sig P365 and Hellcat Pro, and I went with the Hellcat. I felt like it took the positive things from the two other guns I liked without the drawbacks in the Hellcat. I've got around 300 shots down range so far with it, and it gets better and better to shoot it each time I use it.
excellent commentary. I installed the apex trigger before I fired the first round. My finger didn't like the original. I'm very happy now. I'm not a huge handgun type, but this gun is a tool for me, and it is exactly what the doctor ordered for my carry piece. I'm glad that you mentioned the issue of loosening things up by firing a substantial number of rounds through it. Mine is still kind of tight. This is a Well built and reliable unit. It goes everywhere with me. No need to look any further.
Break in period is going to be maybe a few hundred rounds but once you get to that point it's going to be real smooth. My slide is off right now being ported and I'll do a video about that when it comes back in. Still testing some comps on the threaded barrel as well as the DPM recoil reduction springs. There is a lot of good content to come with the Hellcat Pro
I have the Hellcat Pro in the dark earth color. Love the look, feel, and shoot ability of this pistol. My favorite 9 mm and I’ve owned and I’ve owned many including micro and compact pistols including Sigs, CZ’s, Smith & Wessons, and Kimbers.
It's a great gun. I usually take mine out every Saturday but I wasn't feeling up to it last weekend...might have to just put twice as many rounds through it this week
I wouldn’t say there’s a problem with it so much as I’d say it can be improved. I like the extended one from Lakeline LLC so far but I think I’m going to install the apex version just to get a feel for it as well
Have the hellcat osp. Its my EDC. ive got 2500 rounds through it so far and no malfunctions whatsoever. Its a snappy little thing but with a bit of practice its a sweet and very reliable shooter imo.
@mustafamalik5155 bo problems at all. Literally it's never malfunctioned. Runs smooth. I do clean it after every range visit so she's always cleaned and well oiled.
I got the original Hellcat and yes, that 1st trigger safety blade was way too thin. I ordered the Apex trigger for that. A year after the first Hellcat was released they released an upgraded trigger on the Hellcat. I'm pleased with that Hellcat and the Aoex trigger. But I carry the Shield Plus mostly. I just saw the Hellcat Pro bundle- just 3 mags, a range bag, glasses and over the ear protectors- $629. I really wanted it, but I'm retired and only getting a 3.2% SS raise. I know, wha wha wha.
It’s definitely not easy living on a set income. Really I think you are good with what you are using right now. Hopefully that helps. Looking at the way things are going I wouldnt be surprised if a new version comes out in the next year or so. If that happens there will be better deals for sure
@@briansmith6306 the frames are similar but different. The Hellcat has the shorter barrel/slide and grip. You can get 3 fingers on it but in order to have a place for your pinkie to sit you have to be using a mag that has a pinkie extension. Even then it’s a low capacity. The Pro has the longer barrel and slide and for most people they can get a full grip on the gun while using a flush fit 15rd mag.
Get a P365 spectre comp slide and x macro frame and BOOM, 17 rounds, full size grip, compensator etc and same side as the hellcat pro. I have one and I have the hellcat pro. Gotta say I think the 365 is better in every way, but the hellcat pro is a cool gun too.
I’m all for whatever works for each person. For me though, the configuration you just listed is a major overcharge vs the HCP. I think the Sig line is over hyped in order for people to personally justify the cost. I shot both the HCP and the Xmacro leading up to me choosing the HCP. I felt the Sig only slightly handled better but not so much better as to warrant the extra cost. I believe at the time I bought the HCP, two extra separate mags and ordered a Holosun 407k for the price of the Xmacro in its stock configuration with no red dot. I shoot both guns equally as accurately. They both conceal the same. They basically have the same capacity. Same aftermarket support even though there is an argument that more manufacturers are making aftermarket parts for the HCP. Every holster maker out there makes a holster for both of them except with the HCP you don’t have to search for whatever off the wall grip module you may have out on the Sig. I guess I don’t really see the Sig being better in any way. Again…this stuff is always about user preference but for me the HCP holds all the advantage
Just discovered your channel and am enjoying it, nicely done - subscribed! I too, love my Hellcat Pro. I own many pistols and it is my favorite. Most comfortable pistol I’ve ever held. I have the XMacro as well, but the Hellcat Pro feels just a smidge better in my medium-sized hands.
I love the Hellcat Pro. I will say I know people who don't find it as comfortable as I do. Thats why its so important to test guns out if possible before spending that money...you never know if its going to fit you or not unless you try it out
I started with the Hellcat OSP, good weapon, a little snappy the 1st 500 rnds, after that great, a little small in my hands tho, got the Hellcat Pro & I love it, dead on accurate with just iron sights so far. At about 500 rounds thru it so far, No Complaints!
Put the apex trigger and extended mag release. Holosun is still on back order. The grip is the best in the market, but still added sone grip tape. And a springer +4 just to have a 19 round mag. I carry it for semi concealed, the 15 rd for deep concealed. One thing I wish about the pro is I wish it had two night dots on the rear sight.
I wish it were that easy. Not only do I have to wait for them to put one out that comes with 10rd mags but also…I already have two HCP that are both ported. It doesn’t make sense to buy another ported HCP
I like the offerings from Canik but I don't see any advantages with this MC9. It comes with a 12 and a 15 round mag which is cool. Not a horrible capacity. The thing is though in order to have anywhere for your pinkie finger to go you have to have the 15rd mag cause its the one with the pinkie extension. On top of that we are talking about a 3.18" barrel length. Not enough real estate for a solid grip, 3" barrel....thats going to make that gun handle pretty much like the smaller size Hellcat or the M&P Shield or any other number of snappy guns that want to jump out of your hand because of the short barrel and short grip. Concealment isn't a matter of having the shortest barrel or grip. The big factor with concealment is going to be the thickness of the gun. The HCP is 1" and this MC9 looks like 1.12" Really that is a close comparison. close enough to be the same. However...being that close in thickness means Canik could have went with a longer grip like the HCP and certainly could have pushed the barrel length to a full 4", had 15-17rd mags without a pinkie extension and had the ultimate carry gun. The real benefit to a Canik is they have some of the best out of the box triggers on the market especially at their price range. I don't see that as a bonus big enough to overcome the short barrel and grip. Just one mans opinion of course...but I see the MC9 as being just another S&W shield except coming from the factory with a good trigger.
@@jackripper6033 how exactly is it miles better than "any hellcat"? I mean the comment you just replied to breaks down how the Hellcat Pro beats the MC9, the least you could do is throw down some facts or reasoning.
@@360TacticalSolutions a crip rapping about SA and cannibalism is the 80/90s was only going to get so far but he paved the way for Eminem, Tyler the Creator and City Morgue. That said, I’m a shotgun guy shopping for my first pistol and I tried a MP9 2.0 at the range last week. Felt great but probably want a smaller gun for car and concealed carry so I’m looking into the Hellcat Pro. Thanks for the review
thank you for this review. this firearm is going to be my next purchase. I was reading up on the trigger, makes sense to go aftermarket. I kept hearing talk about the trigger being kinda ehh . Thanks! Also, sweet brotha lynch hung poster!
Hey glad to help. I have a lot of Hellcat Pro videos here grouped in as a playlist and im always here if you have questions. Also…that poster was from a show in Seattle years ago. I got to see Tech9 and Lynch and Rittz before he was actually signed to Strange Music. Damn good show. Glad I got to see Lynch at least once live.
Gun owner for 50 years, still looking for that perfect one that doesn't exist. I adapt and over come to any short comings the firearm has except for? Those that are unreliable and only good as a paperweight.
Perfect is a relative term. I often tell people just because it fits all my needs doesnt mean it will fit yours, make sure to live fire test it before you spend your money. For me the HCP is 90% of the way to being the perfect conceal carry platform
Don't understand the comments on the hellcat 9mm correct me if I'm wrong but I personally read that the selling points are magazine capacity and for its conceal ability. It's not a competition handgun. I sold my kimber 45 and I now carry a hellcat more rounds and the carry weight is better and I don't regret any of it. Just my opinion
I’ve never been a fan of the Sigs but I feel like everyone is going to have something that works best for them. For me it’s that Hellcat Pro…for now lol. Who knows when the next thing will come along that I have to have
Great video, love my hellcat pro, I don’t find it overly snappy for a thin gun, I have to agree the stock trigger isn’t my favorite, but i shoot it very well and it works for me for the moment, keep the videos coming !!
I’m at 1000 rounds with zero malfunctions. Flawless performance. My only gripe? There is something about the grip or grip angle or trigger undercut that causes me issues. I have large hands, and I’m a big man. I added the Talon Pro grips and this made the problem worse, so now I’m back to the factory stippling only. I’m not the only man with large hands who has noticed that shooting the Hellcat Pro can be a bit... not exactly uncomfortable, but more like you feel the recoil in an unusual part of your hand compared to the Shield 2.0 (for example). The Talon Pro grips confirmed this, as the grips showed a wear pattern that lined up perfectly with the recoil impulse. And the Pro isn’t a snappy pistol at all! It’s quite nice, even compared to the M&P Shield 1.0 and 2.0 models, which I carried for over a decade before switching to the Hellcat Pro. I think I’m going to allow my gunsmith and friend to do a slight undercut job on the Pro. He’s a wizard with all firearms, and I trust him. Also... I actually pocket carry my Hellcat Pro with a Crimson Trace Rad Micro Pro green dot inside an Alabama Pocket Holster. Yes, it can be done if you have larger front pockets. If you wear tight jeans or skinny jeans, definitely not! I wear a size 38 waist, and I can slip my Pro ( in its Alabama Pocket Holster) inside my front right pocket and it conceals very nicely. Everyone assumes it’s my smartphone, and I’m a journalist who carries everywhere I’m legally allowed to carry, and not one person has spotted the fact that I’m concealed carrying a 15+1 pistol with an optic... in my pocket. And trust me when I tell you that I’m around officers, deputies, and agents on a daily basis. With friends, I’ve asked them if they could honestly tell that I was pocket carrying a pistol. None of them could tell it was a pistol and not a smartphone. I can draw from my pocket faster than I can draw from my IWB holster. Seriously. I was injured in the line of duty years ago, and this makes IWB and even OWB carrying challenging for me, as I’m now disabled with permanent nerve damage in my back and legs. (Plus I’ll carry lots of metal fragments in my back for the rest of my life.) So, bottom line? I love my Hellcat Pro. I’ve been carrying all day, every day since June of 2022. I can mag dump on a four inch steel pie plate at 15 yards (45 feet). That’s not too shabby considering the size of the HC Pro. Now, if S&W ever gets a clue and makes the Shield 3.0 with a 15 round flush fit mag like my Hellcat Pro, I’ll probably start carrying the Shield again, as I never had that grip/trigger undercut issue with my Shields. Until then? I’m a diehard Hellcat Pro believer. For the money, you cannot go wrong with the Hellcat Pro. Buy it. Add an optic and train until you can draw, present, and get on target fast every time. The stock trigger grew on me. It’s no CZ P-10C, but it works just fine. I do, however, plan on upgrading my irons to raised suppressor height night sights and I will also be grabbing that Apex trigger.
I do think the grip can be less than ideal for some people. It feels a bit square and I can see how you may have some issues. At the same time, rounding it would have increased the thickness of the gun. Still…works very well for most people.
There seems to be a lot of Haters on the Hellcat Pro. I’ll tell you this, one of the Best all around Pistols, literally fits like a glove in my hand. Not too heavy, 15 p 1, amazing for its size. Honestly love the way it fits in the hand, Springfield did a Great Design. If you don’t like the Trigger, simple upgrade, it really is all that…
Don’t forget every single HCP is optic ready, no need to buy a specific optic ready model. 1” thick which is thinner than anything else out there on the market and a guns thickness has more to do with concealment than barrel or grip length. People hate on the HCP because they hate Springfield but good luck getting the truth as to why. They all say some nonsense about SA donating to anti gun politicians and lobbyists but ask them for solid information, links to sources…they cant do it. It boils down to roughly 7 years ago when Illinois was pushing a rule that gun dealers not only needed the federal level FFL but also a secondary state license to sell firearms. SA was donating to an organization that was a group of manufacturers. That group of manufacturers worked on lobbying for the good of gun companies in Illinois. They ended up working a shady back door deal to exempt themself from the licensing law as long as they dropped their public opposition to it. SA immediately came out and said WTF fuck these guys, this licensing requirement is bs and no one should have to have a federal and state license to sell firearms. Fast forward nearly a decade and all these people still hate everything SA does and they have no real idea of why or what the origins are.
I have one HCP that I use an adapter plate for and my other HCP I sent to Floyds Custom Shop to modify it for a direct mount. If you are looking for a plate, check out C&H Precision…if you want to direct mount check out Floyds. Both places have 360TS as a promo code
I know this review was a while back, but maybe your next should be the Hellcat Pro Compensated edition. Get all the things you already like, and a little more.
Lol ive had a bunch of people mention that. I already have two ported HCP, I’m not sure my accountant would be real happy with me if I bought another one lol
I hated mine a sold it after 500-700 rounds. Primary reason, it just wasn’t comfortable appendix carry. Second reason like you said, the trigger was horrible. The breaking point, I was shooting my 365 right after and surprised myself because of the trigger difference. At that point I decided I was done carrying it and it therefore had no room in my collection. I actually traded for a G26 and surprisingly think it’s still one of the best carry guns.
@@lorenzoromagosa3828 yeah...Curious too cause this makes no sense....It's a thin gun, with a 3.7 inch barrel. Great for CC. Unless you're a really chubby guy and need something smaller.
I have the exact same set up 407k on hellcat pro very happy with my choice compared to the 365 XL and Glock 43x. I'm also Springfield bias because i love the XDM Elite series so gun felt more natural.
For my hand size, the 365 bit me whereas the hellcat osp felt butter. also tested the shield, 43 and 43x, lcp max 380 and max 9, cr920, a few im forgetting... Hellcat had among the best groupings as well, slow and fast fire Just my 2¢
My Hellcat Pro DID NOT come with a mag loader. I talked to Springfield about this and they told me that some did, some didn't. Seemed pretty crappy to me
Thats not cool. Their reply is super shitty. My guess though is they are used to people trying to get one over on them so they are blowing you off. Yours probably didnt come with one because someone removed it from the packaging. Thats my best guess
I shot that gun and the Smiths and Wesson shield. I like both of them. I did feel that the hell cat had more of a kickback which was causing me to shoot to the left of the target not in the center. However, if you manhandle it a little bit, that’s when I started putting it in the center
People want to dunk on Springfield for some reason. Even the Hellion gets hate despite being crazy accurate for a bullpup and surviving Garand Thumb's torture test better than most of the other rifles he tested. I saw a dude do an accuracy test with multiple Hellcats and he was most accurate with a stock trigger and the Hex Wasp that came with the gun. Not just a little better, way better.
Ive never liked the XD's and stuff but I do think Springfield makes good stuff. Their AR's are way overpriced but again...the guns are reasonable quality. I didn't like the way the stock HCP trigger felt on my finger, it had to go lol...and ive used the Wasp on another persons gun and didn't see any benefit to it. Actually I like the iron sights more than the Hex Wasp. That 6MOA Holosun though, that thing is my favorite carry optic right now. All in all I think people need to give this gun a serious look. I go back and fourth with people constantly who want to suggest better options for a carry gun and all they can really throw out is brand loyalty, no actual gun that has a benefit over the HCP
@@360TacticalSolutions I have the Wasp but I don't mount it on the gun. I don't like the idea of presenting a gun and hunting a red dot over putting a dot into a cup with the irons for up close self defense situations. It is pretty neat to see how accurate guns are with red dots cause it's a better representation of a gun's actual accuracy and not the shooter's ability to hold a dot with even spacing between two other dots or a U or a half circle. I've never had a single issue with my Hellcat either so it's confidence boosting to own it.
Thanks for the Review. Just got mines and I love it. Like you said it feels like and extension of your hand. Definitely will look into the Apex because I do feel the trigger just doesn't feel right.
Remember if you order the Apex use 360TS for the discount code. I think they are giving my viewers 10% off of everything on their website. The Apex was exactly what the Hellcat Pro needed
I have a hellcat pro and I completely agree about the trigger between the weight of it it felt gritty and it just the only thing about the gun that I did not like few months ago I was looking up trigger kits for it spring kits lightning the trigger etc I came across mcarbo oh I went ahead and bought their kit for it it includes things like the firing pin and for the price it would look like it was fine I really really enjoy it with that done
You can smooth it up more by getting PRP sear/spring kit. I put it along with JP guide rod, McCarbo steel striker sleeve, the Apex trigger and sear spring.
Thank you. Im creating a series of videos on my second channel thats like for beginners type stuff. If you want some basic information thats where ill be putting it www.youtube.com/@360tsshorts
I've only put about 300 rounds through mine. The trigger smoothed out a lot. But, just like my hellcat, I'll be putting an apex trigger in the pro as well. For me, it's been a solid little gun.
@@lorenzoromagosa3828 For myself, the pro, by far. I know they are very similar, but the pro shoots a lot softer than the regular hellcat. I'm only keeping the hellcat until Walther releases a slim downed version of its PDP F. If Walther does that, then I'll sell the little hellcat but I'll be keeping the hellcat pro.
@LORENZO ROMAGOSA No, I've had a few hernia surgeries that stop me from appendix carry. I have a recently a a few yrs ago. With a good holster I used to appendix carry my Walther ppq. So I don't believe the hellcat pro would be hard to conceal.
The hell cat pro replaced my sheild 2.0 and I couldn’t be happier! I love it man!! But also wanna touch on the trigger it needs the upgrade 100% it should have come standard in my op haha!!
The frame, barrel, and slide being serialized has been a thing for glocks too. I mean, these are polymer pistols. Theyre not supposed to look pretty, they're supposed to be functional and reliable, light weight defensive tools
It's a European regulation thing they have to serialize multiple parts over there. Just because it's a tool thats functional and reliable doesn't mean I can't prefer the look of something like an American made M&P. Ive never been a big fan of over advertising, I know...not the same thing but along the same lines. I don't need logos all the way around my vehicle so no matter where someone is standing they know it's whatever brand or trim package. I hate that shit. Thats what the triple serial numbers remind me of on EU guns
Relative new to pistol ownership (moved from northern California (need I say more?). This month (3/14), bought a new Hellcat Pro OSP with TB & extra 3x17 mags. Last month I bought a new S/W M&P 9mm 2.0 [it was a LE issued but local LE returned 5 back to S/W (was unassigned/unused)]. Bought 1st of the five (LGS said other 4 sold within 2 days). Now searching and reviewing possible upgrades for both.
Well first and foremost congratulations on the move. Im in WA and all my state does is try to be CA. Im hoping to relocate in the next two years as long as my content creation keeps going the way it is. In terms of the two pistols, great choices. M&P 2.0 was my number one for a long time. Now I have the Hellcat Pro and I go back and fourth between then. So you have come to the right place. Take full advantage of the resources on my channel, I have many videos on both guns although I do need to make some new M&P content. Make yourself a note for my discount code 360TS and thats going to work at Optics Planet, Kore belts, McKinatec Holsters, C&H Precision and Apex triggers. At Floyds Custom Shop my discount is 360ts10 but Im going to send them an email and request it to be swapped over to 360ts in order to match everything else. As you research and upgrade I would say Apex would be a great place to start. The Apex triggers for both of those guns are a great upgrade. Then I would take a look at optics at Optics Planet. The M&P may not be an optic ready model but the HCP is and it's going to need something like a Holosun 407k or 507K. Being new to it I would recommend the 507K because of its dot being easier to see for new people but look them up and see what you like. That of course will require an adapter plate and you can find those at C&H Precision. There are cheap ones on Amazon but it's a gamble with those. Floyds machines magwells and mag extensions for both guns, I'm a huge fan of magwells. If you have any questions along your journey make sure you are subscribed here so you can drop in on a video and ask. Im one of the only channels out there that responds to emails and comments as consistently as I do. All I ask is that you help the algorithm a bit by linking videos that have some value for you.
Hi Mike, Thanks for the prompt response, discount codes (which I shall be using) & suggestions. This is the 1st of your videos I've seen, but will be viewing more as time passes. I moved to Flat Rock (NC) in Jan 2023 for my 71st b'day. Took 4 weeks for CCW approval. Pismo Beach (CA) is my hometown; but born in Tacoma (WA). Spent six years in USAF ('73-'79; T/S SCI & EBI). My authorized sidearm: '75 Colt Python 4" .357 blued magnum. These upgrades I've targeted for my Hellcat Pro w/TB: + Compensator + Holosun 507k green + C&H Precision Adapter Plate (replace OSP) + Streamline TLRI-HR + Apex Tact Flat-Face trigger kit w/spring set + Apex kit (includes): - Extended Slide Lock Lever - Extended Mag Release - Extended Take down Lever - Sear Housing Pin Safety + and maybe a Houge beavertail grip?? As for the S/W M&P 2.0; it's not OR. Have 2 options: 1) buy Dove Mount plate (Holosun 507k), 2) buy another M&P 2.0 that's OR. Any other suggestions & coments welcomed. Greg
@@ViperQQ 71? You are just getting started. What an exciting time in the evolution of firearms to get into using a pistol. It looks like your build list is really good. For the Hellcat Pro I would go Streamlight TLR 7A. Its made more for the size of the Hellcat Pro and there wont be any confusion on the mount. Some of the others can be kind of odd. I havent used the Houge grip but people seem to love it. Apparently it’s a bear to install but once it’s on it’s good. I do like the Apex threaded barrel and Strike Industries Quad Comp for the Hellcat Pro, I have a video in here. It does reduce recoil quite a bit but also I do prefer my ported Hellcat Pro. I have that done through Floyds Custom Shop and they use the same promo code as the rest. With it comped, holsters are a pain in the ass, with it ported it fits in anything made for the HCP. Most of those options can be picked up at C&H, Apex and Optics Planet which is great because you can use my promo and save. For the M&P id definitely go with the Apex flat face forward set trigger and a Streamlight TLR1-HL. I actually have that set up. That was my carry gun for about 5 years. I still carry it on days where im layered up, fall and winter. Great gun. You can actually ship the slide to Floyds Custom Shop and they will cut and refinish it for an optic for I believe $125….dont quote me on that lol. But that will be a direct mount for whatever optic you want to use, no plate needed. Im using a Holosun 507C on mine and then my full size M&P I use a Holosun 507COMP because it has a larger window. Again, Floyd’s discount, Optics Planet for the red dots with the discount. This stuff adds up for sure. If you need anything, if you have any questions feel free to reach out. I leave my contact email in the description of all my videos and unlike nearly every other channel out there Im always here for the people who take the time to watch my content.
Great video man. Very informative so thank you. Glock is infamous for that “Glock knuckle” and I’ve seen a lot of people do the undercut mod to help ease that problem. After 1,000 rounds, do you feel that this was an issue with the pro?
I actually really like the double undercut on a Glock, mostly for the advantage in leverage. I havent felt any rubbing like people experience with the glock while using my HCP but I would almost like to do the double undercut for indexing my finger under the trigger guard. As of today im sitting at 6k rounds in my HCP and the only thing that rubbed me raw was the trigger. The Apex trigger upgrade fixed that though
I have the Hell cat Pro and other guns I think shoot better; BUT they aren"t conceal carrry ad friendly as the Hell cat Pro. PLUS the Hell cat pro shoots just like a big gun, surprisingly. It shoots wild but powerful. I call mine "little cricket" like on MIB. It fukn Kicks! So Hold on!
I have a Hellcat Pro and have put about 800 rounds through it so far. I love how it feels and have not had a single problem. Thank you for the review.
@@avalentino2386 HCP is basically a slim 19 with better ergo either the same capability
@@avalentino2386I've got fairly big hands and glocks have never done this to me. Personally I still like and carry glocks. And I like and carry SA too
I appreciate your unbiased standpoint. This and another of your videos helped me make my decision. Thank you.
I really appreciate the feedback. Thank you
I’m starting to love the Hellcat Pro.
The apex trigger is a game-changer for the hcp, great review subscribed
Thank you
I have a number of different pistols I have purchased or inherited over the years !
I purchased the first Hellcat after some research as to its reliability and to cycle all the ammunition !
It works and the price was right !
The PSA dagger sure looks good though !
I do love my Hellcat Pro
Carried one for 2 years. Great gun!
I haven't found anything that has an advantage for me over the HCP. Love it
HCP really shines when you start swapping out some of the parts. I got the extended control set and Type 3 trigger from Apex, compensator from Herrington Arms, threaded OEM barrel, and, of course, light and red dot sight. Idk if I’ll ever need anything else. Looks and feels amazing.
Its got soooo much potential
Good review dude. I like the tiny slide releases on my hcp and my echelon. They broke in well and I have grown to like the simplicity of them. 👍
Springfield really is making great guns right now. Im going to be buying a Prodigy after the holidays I think
@360TacticalSolutions I agree. Im super pleased with my Echelon especially. And the thought of getting a prodigy has crossed my mind quite a few times! We'll see. Cheers
Thank you for sharing your impressions. I really liked it.
Best regards.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the honest review, new subscriber here. Have the Hellcat, no issues at all. Looking at the Pro now and I'm sure the Apex trigger as well... lol
Hey glad to have you. Ive got a ton of experience so if you have any questions feel free to ask
@@gavincorona8179train slingshot and you won’t regret it, especially with some models not even including an external slide stop…
I totally agree with you and share the same thinking. I like the sig trigger but can’t find a range in my area to rent one before buying it.
I love it. It’s my #1 cry gun right now.
@@360TacticalSolutions it’s my carry gun but I have been considering picking up a FN 509 compact . Any experience with those ?
@@ariesnc6320 I have experience with the 509 compact. I dislike the trigger on it. I do really like the hellcat pro
I love the hellcat. Great gun, no misfires, feels amazing in the hand
I can't seem to put it down. Its my number 1 right now
I've rented the Hellcat platform, and compared to the Sig P365 platform and although I do like the Hellcat platform, Sig just feels much better, has better sights, and certainly a much better trigger.
The sig is awesome, but I did like that U-shaped rear sight!
My wife has p365xl and I hellcat pro I can’t lie I shoot better with her gun tho the sig just feels better less recoil and better sights and trigger
@@360TacticalSolutions do the iron sights co-witness with the holosun or did you have to install suppressor height irons?

I hope you eventually grabbed one. It was a game changer for mine.
Love my hellcat pro!!
Great video. I am a big fan of my p365 and got a Pro a few months ago. Although I still prefer my Sig for EDC, the Pro has been a great performer at the range. It’s just a little too large for me to edc comfortably. So is the 43x. I don’t care what the wife says, size DOES matter.
lol sometimes size does matter. Really it’s all about personal comfort. Theres no perfect solution for all people.
Waiting on my Kali 10 day and i can not wait to break it in and add it to my CCW. Thanks for the video
The triple serial is a European requirement. That’s why Glock, HK, Walther, etc all have them as well.
I have hellcat osp and pro. Both are excellent. Zero malfunctions in either. Impressive reliability and build. The feedramp feels and looks like glass on both.
I wasn't a fan of the shorter version even with the comp but the HCP has exceeded my expectations over and over again
I have had mine for a year and a half and I love it. I run it with the HS EPC Carry.
Excellent choice
Well said. Picked one up just recently with the 6 mags. Fits like a glove, shoots like a dream, carries amazingly, and hasn't had a hint of a malfunction after a bit over 500 rounds so far.
Great video and well said.
I wish I had been able to get in on that deal. Now if I want more mags I have to really get crafty. The mag ban in WA is bullshit lol
@@agayfuzzypandabear damn good deal if you ask me. I can get more mags…I just have to reach out to friends out of state lol.
Great review. I like your review style as well. Subscribed. Thanks.
Thanks for the sub!
Thank you for the further insight into the Hellcat Pro Mike. I've been considering this gun for my EDC. I've also subscribed to your channel.
Thank you. I appreciate the comment. Do you have a local range with a rental program that has one? I love the Hellcat Pro but I always advise people to get some shots through a gun before making that investment. As of this moment I haven’t been able to find something that fits my needs better than this gun but you never really know how it will fit you till you fire it
I love my Hellcat OSP. I want to get the pro eventually. Some people hate Springfield, they say the Hellcat is shit. But I personally love it.
Buying one this weekend. Thank you for confirming my purchase
Phenomenal gun. Make sure to check the other videos in my Hellcat Pro playlist. There is more to come in terms of content. The Hellcat Pro is the first gun thats made me say wow since the release of the M&P 2.0
@@360TacticalSolutions will do sir
This video couldn't be more accurate. Just like he said, the trigger, if you get a chance and have the extra buck, change it. Overall this gun is phenomenal. I have no issues carrying it, and it feels natural when shooting it (my opinion) super great content, straight to the point.
Thank you. Hellcat Pro is my top pic for 2022. I don't think there is a single gun out there that tops is for a conceal carry piece
@@360TacticalSolutions would you mind saying why the Pro over the normal Hellcat ? for IWB purposes
Which trigger you thinking? I was eyeing the apex drop in one.
I have the hellcat pro and 3 other Springfields and yes 3 smiths . My 2 favorite sub compacts the hellcat and the smith shield plus
Hi love the video! Thanks for posting. What ammo do you use for training and carry with this hellcat pro?
I use primarily AAC ammo. Usually 124 grain. I’ll leave a link in here for you. You wont find a better price on ammo for a more reliable source

Ya I completely agree. The sigs are good guns but they arent really worth what they cost
Just bought one. I love it.
Good choice!
This is spot on. Great gun but get the Apex trigger installed to really love it!!!!
Apex makes a huge difference
I've been into guns for many years. I've waited a long time for this pistol. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of the CA edition, but since I can't purchase the regular one, I went ahead and ordered the CA version. I currently own and enjoy the Glock 20SF, but I'm looking for something smaller in 9mm while maintaining the same level of reliability.
In my opinion, this is the best improved version of it.
The Hellcat Pro is hands down my favorite carry weapon. I keep testing other guns to try and find something that beats it…but the HCP is still king
I just got one for Xmas, your video is the best and most informative I've seen all week. Thank you! I'll definitely look into swapping triggers after I get a feel for her
I have a couple more good videos in the pipeline with this gun. Glad to help with my content
@@360TacticalSolutionsDid you install your apex trigger yourself?
@@ariesnc6320 I did. Super easy
@@360TacticalSolutions Thanks a bunch. I really appreciate what you are doing, and will follow your new videos.
Still, a great video even if it's a re-upload... Love your work Mike, keep up the good work!
Thanks. Really appreciate the support. I took a little downtime from filming for the holidays but ill be back on my normal schedule very soon
I loved my Hellcat Pro. Ended up upgrading to a Sig Xmacro. Not because it's $300 better but like you my friend I'm a addict. Great video!
The struggle is real. I want to buy the metal frame M&P even though I know it isn't going to perform any different than the one I already have lol
We call this color “peanut butter”
1500-2000 rounds thru mine. I agree with everything except for me, the slide release/stop is absolutely perfect
I wouldn’t say there’s a problem with it so much as I’d say it can be improved. I like the extended one from Lakeline LLC so far but I think I’m going to install the apex version just to get a feel for it as well
Just found this channel …… love it keep up the great work
Awesome, thank you!
Have the hellcat osp. Its my EDC. ive got 2500 rounds through it so far and no malfunctions whatsoever. Its a snappy little thing but with a bit of practice its a sweet and very reliable shooter imo.
How is your recoil spring after 2500 rounds, is it working fine ?
Does the Hellcat and Hellcat Pro have the same grip? Or are the frames different?
Thats why its so important to test guns out if possible before spending that money...you never know if its going to fit you or not unless you try it out
I just found this channel looking for Hellcat Pro reviews. I put my hellcat pro in layaway today. We shall see
I started with the Hellcat OSP, good weapon, a little snappy the 1st 500 rnds, after that great, a little small in my hands tho, got the Hellcat Pro & I love it, dead on accurate with just iron sights so far.
Take a look at the extended slide release from Lakeline LLC. I’ll be doing a short video about it really soon. Im very happy with it so far
Get the Pro Comp!!! You'll love it!!!😋
I wish it were that easy. Not only do I have to wait for them to put one out that comes with 10rd mags but also…I already have two HCP that are both ported. It doesn’t make sense to buy another ported HCP
Canik Mete MC9 is making a run at my next new gun. I like the feel and the trigger.
The HCP is 1" and this MC9 looks like 1.12"
Really that is a close comparison. close enough to be the same.
@@360TacticalSolutions mc9 is slightly better than the shield plus and the shield plus is miles better than any hellcat.
@@jackripper6033 how exactly is it miles better than "any hellcat"? I mean the comment you just replied to breaks down how the Hellcat Pro beats the MC9, the least you could do is throw down some facts or reasoning.

I have the hellcat for when I love it and you're right it definitely needs upgrade trigger
Great info. Thanks.
Glad it was helpful!

My two favorite EDCs are the Hellcat Pro and the P365-XL.
I definitely have more to come. Im testing the DPM recoil reduction springs for it right now
I’m at 1000 rounds with zero malfunctions.
(Plus I’ll carry lots of metal fragments in my back for the rest of my life.)
So, bottom line?
Great video
Did you direct mount that Holosun to the slide or did you need a adapter plate
I have one HCP that I use an adapter plate for and my other HCP I sent to Floyds Custom Shop to modify it for a direct mount. If you are looking for a plate, check out C&H Precision…if you want to direct mount check out Floyds. Both places have 360TS as a promo code
Picking mine up in 30 days.
Excellent choice
Was the appendix carry on the Hellcat Pro uncomfortable because of the length?
@@lorenzoromagosa3828 yeah...Curious too cause this makes no sense....It's a thin gun, with a 3.7 inch barrel. Great for CC. Unless you're a really chubby guy and need something smaller.
I have the exact same set up 407k on hellcat pro very happy with my choice compared to the 365 XL and Glock 43x. I'm also Springfield bias because i love the XDM Elite series so gun felt more natural.
I think the Hellcat Pro is the best CCW on the market right now. I cant find anything that beats it
For my hand size, the 365 bit me whereas the hellcat osp felt butter. also tested the shield, 43 and 43x, lcp max 380 and max 9, cr920, a few im forgetting...
Hellcat had among the best groupings as well, slow and fast fire
Just my 2¢
It’s my number 1 ccw
Great , fair , unbiased review 👍🏻
I bought the pro and bought the longer mags that hold more bullets
Its my favorite gun on the market right now
My Hellcat Pro DID NOT come with a mag loader.
A lot of people have been going with the M Carbo products. It sounds like they are pretty good
Trigger on mine is horrible. Yes it's broke in. If canik can make a good trigger why can't springfield. Glock like, buy it and start replacing parts.
Apex was a great upgrade on this gun
My stock trigger is great. I love it.
Out of curiosity and point of reference what was your CCW before the Hellcat Pro?
You can smooth it up more by getting PRP sear/spring kit. I put it along with JP guide rod, McCarbo steel striker sleeve, the Apex trigger and sear spring.
I like this channel does channel to help me decide what I want to buy first beginner
Here’s a spoiler for you. Search online for Lakeline LLC. I have their extended slide release and next to the Apex trigger its a must have
which one did you like better for EDC ? regular hellcat or the pro ?
@@lorenzoromagosa3828 For myself, the pro, by far. I know they are very similar, but the pro shoots a lot softer than the regular hellcat. I'm only keeping the hellcat until Walther releases a slim downed version of its PDP F. If Walther does that, then I'll sell the little hellcat but I'll be keeping the hellcat pro.
@@infidel24 do you carry appendix ?
@LORENZO ROMAGOSA No, I've had a few hernia surgeries that stop me from appendix carry. I have a recently a a few yrs ago. With a good holster I used to appendix carry my Walther ppq. So I don't believe the hellcat pro would be hard to conceal.
The hell cat pro replaced my sheild 2.0 and I couldn’t be happier! I love it man!! But also wanna touch on the trigger it needs the upgrade 100% it should have come standard in my op haha!!
Thats how a lot of guns are. I love shooting the M&P but the trigger is trash. Upgrading to an Apex is a total must.
@@360TacticalSolutions I am looking into finding somewhere that sales them haha!!
Love my Hellcat
I test a lot of guns and so far nothing beats the Hellcat Pro
Hi Mike,
Thanks for the prompt response, discount codes (which I shall be using) & suggestions.
These upgrades I've targeted for my Hellcat Pro w/TB:
+ Compensator
+ Holosun 507k green
+ C&H Precision Adapter Plate (replace OSP)
+ Streamline TLRI-HR
+ Apex Tact Flat-Face trigger kit w/spring set
+ Apex kit (includes):
- Extended Slide
Lock Lever
- Extended Mag
Release
- Extended Take
down Lever
- Sear Housing Pin
Safety
+ and maybe a Houge beavertail grip??
As for the S/W M&P 2.0; it's not OR. Have 2 options: 1) buy Dove Mount plate (Holosun 507k), 2) buy another M&P 2.0 that's OR.
Any other suggestions
& coments welcomed.
Thanks. Everything coming together smoothly.
So Hold on!
Ive done a lot of modifications on mine that have tamed it quite a bit. Love mine
Good information, thanks.
Of course. Ive got a couple more real good videos coming with the HCP
