Brave and the Bold was the only show that cared enough about the Metal Men to feature them in an entire episode. There's no words to describe how much I love that.

One of the greatest things about TBATB is how it gave the spotlight to obscure and underrated characters. Stuff like heavily featuring characters like the Metal Men and B'wana Beast makes it clear that the show was made with a huge love and appreciation for DC Comics.

There is also a pretty damn cool "DC Nation Shorts" (2011-2014) in which some of the voice actors for the Metal Men came back for 5 episodes.
(Corey Burton reprises his role as Will Magnus, and Tin is once again voiced by Hynden Walch)
Gotta love those DC Nation Shorts, the Green Arrow ones in particular have a special place in my heart

Dude, I never understood the hate for this show, I loved this show! It introduced me to so many great characters! Keep up the good work

Brave and bold got me to know alot of characters that I've never heard about and till this day to me BnB is truly superheroes at their best. I love BatmanTAS but there is just something about this series that just make me want to read all the comic from that era. I hope in the future we get a show like this again for DC or maybe marvel, movies are cool but animated shows like this is what makes comic book fans.

I completely agree with everything you said!! This show really is one of the best entry points into the comic book world, and there absolutely needs to be more shows like it. I'm really grateful that I got to grow up watching it, my appreciation for comics wouldn't be the same without it

Batman the brave and the bold changed my childhood and was my gateway to liking everything else DC. I would never have known of Detective Chimp without it!

Great list. To me this my favorite adaptation of the DC universe. Really captures a lot of tones while staying true to itself

This is a pretty agreeable list to my tastes. Like you said, there's so many good episodes. But the fact that you did NOT mention Aquaman's Outrageous Adventure is a CRIME!!

I find it funny how even though the Damien in the Brave and the Bold wasn't raised alongside the League of Shadows, he's still super serious compared to every other Robin in existence.

Absolutely and the roadtrip episode with his family was fantastic, we need a spin off sitcom about this Aquaman and his family

Love your videos! *Batman: The Brave and the Bold* definitely blew my mind when it came out... it was right during "the Dark Knight" mega-hype when everyone was so enthralled by Heath Ledger's Joker that most Bat-fans of that time period wanted some dark and gritty stories, and the new cartoon was... _this?_
Sadly I think the cartoon didn't get its dues until much later because if came out during the Nolan trilogy, way before "campy Batman" became popular again
(it might sound weird to newer fans of DC, in this day and age when Adam West & Burt Ward's Batman & Robin are so revered, and campyness in Batman is welcomed once again, but there was a time period during which the 1960s Adam West show & movie were constantly ridiculed for being suuuper-lame...
Thankfully lots of fans ended up changing their minds, and we got the awesome animated movies *Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders* in 2016, and Adam West's last hurrah as Batman in the 2017 *Batman vs Two-Face* movie, which finally gave us Two-Face fans our promised William Shatner two face )
All of this to say that I really wish you could make a video on your favorite *Justice League: Action* (206-2018) episodes, since this show is basically The Brave and the Bold but with the entire Justice League, instead of being mainly focused on Batman.
(But don't get me wrong, their Batman, voiced by Kevin Conroy, is fantastic... it's a bit of a tear-jerker to rewatch the episode *"Time Share"* , which is a nostalgia trip back to Batman:TAS in which he teams up with Blue Beetle to stop Chronos, and... well, you'll see)
It has the same kind of humor as TBATB, and if you loved Plastic Man in the one, you're going to adore him in JL:Action. The episode *"Double Cross"* in which Batman has to work with Plastic Man and Firestorm to stop Two-Face (in a brillant portrayal, really wish he was in more than one episode) and Deadshot.
Another tear jerk for Booster Gold fans is his team-up with Batman in *"Time Out"* , that one hits hard.
And of course as a Riddler fan, how could I forget the episode that got me hooked on that show, *"E. Nigma, Consulting Detective"*
And fans of the short-lived *Green Lantern: The Animated Series* will get a nice surprise in *"Barehanded"* ^^
For clarity's sake I should mention that this show has 52 regular episodes made by all kinds of people, and 22 shorter ones all directed by the legendary Doug Murphy.
The voice cast is amazing, from classics like Kevin Conroy as Batman and Mark Hamill as Joker & the Trickster, to inspired new choices like James Woods as Lex Luthor or Damian O'Hare as John Constantine
(in an era dominated by Matt Ryan's Constantine, both in live action and animated... not that I'm complaining, I loved Matt Ryan's decade of dominance as JC, that I discovered thanks to *Arrow* season 4, but it was nice to have a little change, you know?)
Anyway, if you're a fan of B:TB&TB, give JL:A a chance, you won't regret it!

Great list! Though I would've also included more of the episodes with Captain Marvel and the Marvel Family, not to mention the Freedom Fighters episode where Plastic Man leads singing of his own version of Yankee Doodle!
Also, this show needs a revival, like, yesterday! There are still so many characters Batman never got to meet in the original run, including Supergirl, the Legion of Super-Heroes, Animal Man, the Guardian and the Newsboy Legion, Captain Carrot and his Amazing Zoo Crew, the Unknown Soldier, the Suicide Squad (either original Silver Age or modern version), Swamp Thing, the Seven Soldiers of Victory... and I could probably do this all day!

My two favorite things about Batman the brave and the bold are the team up, Bass structure and the inclusion of many previously obscure characters that are getting the limelight on television for the first time

They were all the best! I was totally floored by the Bwana Beast episode! Magnificent! I started reading B & B with the Metal Men team-up in the early 70s (don't ask how young I was!) and grabbed the regular issues and back issues through the rest of the run. I started writing a script teaming Bats with (so help me!) Electrawoman and Dyna Girl (not DC Characters!) but only got as far as the opening with Johnny Thunder trying to "help" Batman. (One of his lines was "Johnny Thunder! It's gotta be Johnny Thunder!") If they revive it (and they shouldn't, why wreck it?) I would love to see The Inferior Five and The Secret Six. (Not together!) Thanks for the video! -----Mike Mayak

Do have to say that comic book media that tries to be 100 percent IM DARK AND SERIOUS just seems like its rather insecure.
