- We review the 2023 Hyundai i30 Drive N limited edition.
Now a fair few years old, is the Hyundai i30N still any good? Or have another cars - namely the Honda Civic Type R and Toyota GR Corolla - changed the game?

Thank you!
very enjoyable! another great review 😄
Thank you mate!
Wow I’m a proud I30N DCT owner, and never heard so many juicy infos about my car. Thanks so much for digging deep into things
No worries :D
Thank you ❤
Are the suspensions on the stiff side when on normal/Eco mode?
Yes. Always a bit firm
I owned i30N for almost 2 years now. I absolutely love it, BUT there are 2 drawbacks (apart it's a FWD) that almost make me wanna sell it. 1. Brakes - putting single piston floating brakes on a car they claim is made for circuit is just silly. 2. what fascinates me about this car is how inefficient the engine is. Whenever I go for a drive with my friend and his Octavia VRS, his fuel consumption is 10 l/100km and mine is 18. Don't buy this as a daily lol.
We don't have the I30 in America. It almost seems like a mix of the I20 and Kona in terms of styling. That sounds like it is priced quite high being the same as a GR Corolla. Is that limited edition ,much more expensive due to its rarity? Also are you giving the price of the base model GR which lacks some very important features?
It's expensive because it's a limited edition, that's true.
I have a soft spot for these. Being in the mentioned age demographic that commented may have something to do with it!
Nigel.
haha
Or you could save yourself fifteen grand and get an 120n.
