Cult and Classic
Australia
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 22 ส.ค. 2023
Cult and Classic is a workshop and licenced motor dealer located in Mittagong, New South Wales 2575 - a quaint country town up a big hill and an hour-away from Sydney's hustle-and-bustle.
Our activities include importing cars for customers and our showroom, certifying imported vehicles and selling rare and unusual cars as well.
Our host - Justin Narayan - has spent over a decade working in the Australian OEM automotive industry. Working for car brands directly as a product planner, he has also worked in the media as a senior journo reviewing cars for Australia's biggest media company (Nine/Drive/Sydney Morning Herald).
Our head mechanic - Mark Piedziwol - is a fully-qualified mechanic who has spent more than two-decades on the tools with brands like BMW, Audi and Kia. He's also done time at head office as a gun troubleshooter and remembers when E30 BMWs were rolling into his dealership for servicing.
We love cars - hope you enjoy our content!

Genuine ball-tearer? 2004 Renault Sport Clio V6 review
The 2004 RenaultSport V6 is an absolute weapon.
With a mid-mounted V6 engine, a six-speed manual transmission and no traction aids, it certainly commands respect.

Nismo 380RS review - The ultimate Z33 350Z?
มุมมอง 18K7 หลายเดือนก่อน
Occasionally, Nismo will give its fans what they want and sprinkle some Motorsport magic on a Nissan road car - like this Nismo 380 RS. It's one-of-263 ever made and one-of-61 ever made in black! It produces a hefty 257kW/397Nm that is sent through a six-speed manual and then a rear LSD differential. Watch until the end for the drive by! Peak Impreza? 1997 Subaru Impreza WRX STI Coupe V3 Type R review
มุมมอง 9K8 หลายเดือนก่อน
Long-winded name aside, is this the best Subaru Impreza ever made? The 1997 Subaru Impreza WRX STI Type R Coupe was the first two-door Impreza that ultimately culminated with the 22b. This particular model is one-of-228 Chase Yellow examples built - a unique colour that's found exclusively on this model year. Being a Type R model, it has heaps of extra nuance over something like an Aussie-deliv...
One slow, one fast - we buy two Nissan R34 Skyline GT-Rs
มุมมอง 3K8 หลายเดือนก่อน
What's better than one Bayside blue R34 GT-R? Two! Cult and Classic was tasked by an client to buy a pair of Nissan Skyline GT-Rs - preferably both in Bayside Blue. We bought two cars: One standard and mint V-Spec II, and another V-Spec I with 1000 horsepower! To cap it off, both are wearing the same Nismo LMGT4 wheels. I wish the US could have these 😩
the king of 350z’s. thank you for documenting this absolute beast a lot of people don’t even know it exists
Hey, thanks a lot! Also, thanks for taking the time to watch the video.
Wasn't exclusive to Japan. Malaysia had them too.
Delivered new, or parallel import new?
@@CultandClassic Officially launched by Honda Malaysia and sold new from 2007 - 2011
@@haz3004 I will check verify and come back to you
Great presentation style!
@@indykalia8224 thank you!
Grest car. Constructive criticism: you're better off doing static shots outside, particularly with a black car!
@@secretsquirrel3793 thank you - a fair point. We wanted to shoot inside to keep the “look” of the shop and some continuity between older eps, but you’re not wrong. Hope you enjoyed the video!
@@CultandClassic Fair enough. Even the best struggle with this. Harry's Garage is one of my faves but Harry often shows interior shots inside where it's nearly impossible to distinguish shades of black!
The best to ever do it back at it again
@@davidportebeckefeld7415 you’re too kind ❤️
Beater Bomb
@@Nunechka it’s nasty… but you like it
the one on your website showroom is listed as an automatic - is it a different one to this..?
@@mikeg8698 same car, thanks for bringing this to our attention. I will fix it!
@@CultandClassic while I'm all out correcting you, there is a minor typo in your description of the 2006 Lexus :-) nice car BTW!
genuinely entertaining vids 🤣
@@shaybull4538 thank you mate!! We will do our best to put some more out there
Good to see you back. In depth as per usual
Thank you mate :D. We will try to make some more videos sooner.
The bird 😂
haha, a paid staff member now 🤣
Until he invites his mates around 😂
Ask Mischa Charoudin what he thinks about the i20N around the Nurburgring. Proper sorted hot hatch in the spirit of the Clio Sport.
We don't need to ask him, you already told us on his behalf bro.
The RS Q3 in South Africa has electronic powered seats
It does too in Australlia - it's actually just this limited-edition model that has manual seats! It's the most-expensive and highest-performance RS Q3 released, and it has manual pews haha.
I love my 8th Gen Civic Si. It’s the 2 door FG2, it’s only got 23k miles on it. It’s the Ultimate drivers car. With a Catback Exhaust, intake, and a Tune these cars become screamers.
First honest RS Q3 review.. good points about the old school design
Thank you! We always tell the truth
Are the suspensions on the stiff side when on normal/Eco mode?
Yes. Always a bit firm
The presentation is like an Australian SavageGeese! Very nicely done.😃👍I don't think I've ever head anyone describe an engine as nugget before, apart from Wade from Garbage Time (MightyCarMods too, I guess?). 😂
It’s a sydney thing. Appreciate your comments!
Thank you ❤
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 my dream FD2R
The 4 door Version 2 STI type RA is the ULTIMATE IMPREZA
All Champ White FN2's came with LSD and they appeared late 2008. Then from April 2010 most model FN2's came with LSD standard so most 60 plates and all 11 plates. 🤓 Riveting i know 😂
I put my phone in the dash when wearing shorts. Otherwise it falls out in between the seat and console.
Has a purpose then
Very good Review..👍🏻 there’s just one Z which is above of that Z, the 380RS Superleggera. Just 20 were Build, its quite the same as this one but over 100kg lighter.
Cool car, but it was built by Amuse and not a factory-sanctioned Nissan.
@@CultandClassic oh really ? I’m sorry 🤦🏼♂️

This or the i20N ?
If I had seen this review I wudn't have bought the car. Would have missed out on a lot of fun. The review is a bit misleading IMO.
Yep. But I guess not everyone is going to appreciate the car for what it is.
well, you cant get powered bucket seats on a GT3 either so
Bro, that's a two-door sports coupe that belongs on a race track. This is a family car that doesn't go near a race track, it should have electric seats. My 2004 BMW E46 325Ti has electric seats with two-position memory for christ's sake!
How does a 350z rs compare to a 370z or nismo in speed and power? I imagine it can hold it's own. The regular nismo can barely compete with base 370z.
I love the 2000 model till this day the 2000 model still looks hot
Thank you for a proper good review in aus! Had one of these when I lived in Japan but now back in aus and have finally convinced myself I don’t need a big ute as a tradie here
Hey, weclome back to Australia! What Kei ute will you be buying here do you think?
Quality review I've got a 1992 HA4 Acty. I only would out about the extended cab models after I bought one. Would definitely have been the favorable option.
❤❤❤❤
Those definitely look sharp
6:31 "First impressions, love the ergonomics.." Camera Man: "how am i gonna finish this take..."
Very interested in this mini truck Where can I buy this car in Sydney? Any clue?
www.cultandclassic.com.au
Needs a stage 1 tune
Not wrong, and a downpipe too... with a PPF delete haha
I test drove one and completely agree, I also own an M2 comp so I'm probably spoiled. I had a mk 8 Fiesta ST before and remember it being much more fun and put a smile on my face even back to back with the m2, i20n just puffs out for me and felt kinda dull. What are your thoughts on the ST? I think I may get one again, the brakes were just weak as I recall.
I owned an ST for a while and loved it - I think it's a better road car overall. The Hyundai is superior out of the box on a track; but yeah, most of us drive on the road meaning the ST is a better pick.
Great video!
Thank you!
Finallly someone reviews this car 😢❤
It’s not a bad car… just lacks some features
Not sure what’s better the super carry or the review 😂
You’re too kind ❤️
You're a handsome enough guy, but your face is taking up too much screen time. We want to see more of the car and less of you.
Nice Vid!!! I'm an original owner of a 2002 Bugeye STI with 33,000km on the clock (Blue, gold rims, big wing) its my pride & joy!! I absolutely love the Subaru brand and will buy a V3 Type R like this one to park right beside the Bugeye!!
Good point about the key. Like a R35
Could be better!
Wait until you realise NISMO 380RS has better overall performance than the new Z PERFORMANCE model let alone 370Z NISMO
This is a really good review. Having seen may others that talk about how great it is, and I myself owning one i always thought - its OK and even really good BUT... Its not fast in a straight line - in the bends it comes alive and is awesome. Its firm for daily - but that was a given (however after a while is noticeable). Its built to a price - and that's not a negative - the value for money for what its to be is second to none. it not noisy on course chip roads on the fwy. just don't think its perfect.... that said i look forward to driving it tomorrow.
So you love ❤️ the little i20n ?
Appreciate your kind words. We're on the same page :D
Enjoyable review. Nice to have a couple good lads having an honest chat about it. Thanks from NZ. Edit: Get some more vids up gents. You're good to watch and listen to. I want to see your hijet review and comparison.
Impreza without the big table top spoiler, is shit
These are really popular in Rarotonga where the speed limit is 50km and they are CHEAP to run. I am going to buy the super carry because of the bigger cab and I don't need the bigger tray. Great video content!!
Fun and informative review, guys! Wasn't expecting to watch the whole video but you hooked me.
Aw, thanks!
Have you tuned the car? You can still extract performance from the K20A
Would absolutely love a video with this level detail on the Suzuki Spacia Custom Turbo and Honda N-Box. I'm considering one of the new kei vans because the technology level is super impressive but cannot find videos of them doing highway km's or just how hard you gotta push them to get up a hill.
