How to make a very quick, simple, easy miter saw station. For this project, I used just under 16 8-foot 2x4s and a 4x8 sheet of 3/4-in plywood.

The mitre saws cutting surface doesn’t have to be flush with top of table? I noticed it’s a slight bit lower does it matter?

For everybody who wishes to complain about no measurements and no commentary in the video... The man spent his time and money filming and editing the build for this video. Why not just drop the $2.00 for the PDF plans? You then have your measurements, RJK has some very small compensation for his time and effort, and you have this video to supplement the plans. Everybody wins.

@Brad210UIW 12 ft, plus whatever length you need for your particular miter saw. But easily modifiable to whatever length you want, it’s just changing 1 dimension in the plans.

if they can't figure it out by looking at the video then they shouldn't be working with tools. Some things just takes common sence.

There are thousands of ways to build a bench. I’ve got a new workshop and have had construction plans in my head for weeks. I tend to over engineer, so this is a godsend. Simple and it will do the job. Love it.

Cool and nicely laid out plans. Thx.I have been using my job site dewalt stand with my mitersaw in my garage and it's a major pain. Always needs to be moved. The jobsite dewalt table saw is also on it's own mitersaw stand, and even more in the way, and too tall for the portable outfeed support things. I've been wanting to set up a quick sturdy and simple essentially permanent, but on wheels, station and this was the one I decided upon this morning. Very cool.

Just buy the plans! Totally worth the $2 to have all the materials and cut list with color coordinated materials. Just built it last weekend. We don't have a truck to bring the materials home, so we had Home Depot rip down the 4x6 plywood and rip one cut on all of the 2x10s to get them to fit in the car. All in all, I think it took me maybe 4 hours to do final cuts and attachments. I took my time and made sure the boards were flush by hand before screwing fully. I don't have clamps to hold them together. Luckily, just taking my time and by feel, I didn't have any issues with the table being wobbly, thus no need for the leveling feet.

I've been going back in forth in my head for a while about how I'll build my workbench for the garage. Decided to go with your plans. Just downloaded the pdf and heading to Home Depot for the materials. This is what I've been looking for. Will let you know how it turns out.
