This! He’s said $15-20 per sheet of plywood and my jaw dropped. Looks like Baltic birch, that’s over $110 a 19mm sheet in Southern California. “Cheap” birch ply is $70/4x8 sheet.
Thanks, Drew! Heavily inspired by your shop cabinet-video. Always learn a lot watching your videos, both with woodworking, but especially with video-production. Your storytelling is top class!
Nice job! I'm also looking at this type of modular drawer system for a miter station. I've probably watched Drew and Dennis's videos 100 times each! Glad I found yours.
You know it’s crazy that this miter station is based around Hooked on Wood and Drew from Wittworks miter and I literally just watched both of those videos yesterday because I’ve thinking about changing my miter station.
Nice build. You definitely won with the plywood quality. Just need to pay attention to the varying thicknesses. I noticed at the end of the video you pointed to the corner but no video link popped up.
Pierre and me were in Arendal for a surprise party for our friend Marius Bodvin . So glad your coming to makers central yes both me and Pierre will be there it would be great to meet up can’t wait
Looks awesome. Just to be sure, there's no protection against sliding the drawers out accidentally by pulling them too far out right? Isn't that annoying, or is that in practice not an issue?
I got here looking for ideas for my miter saw, stuck around after I saw the disc golf basket! Sadly I couldn't find any disc golf content on your channel :(
On the fronts of the drawers, you could have chosen to make a hole, like on the doors. Less dust inside the drawers and it would have been faster :)… hugs from Lisbon, Portugal
What camera do you use? From the looks of the microphone maybe a dji camera? Do you record everything yourself?? And what equipment with tripods and stuff
Hi Are, quick question for us Norwegians. Where on earth do you find plywood that cheap? I've looked in all the "big box stores" we have in Norway, but I cant find anything at that price. What store do you use?
4 minutter inn i videoen, og må spørre. Hvor handler du kryssfiner platene du bruker her?
Great work, still don’t understand how the plywood is so cheap. Perhaps I should move? @wittworks provided me with a lot of background for my upcoming project, but you filled in the gaps perfectly. The blend of your two projects is going to be amazing if I can pull off what’s in my head.
Hej Are, I am from UK but live in Sweden actually not too far from the Norwegian border. I have been looking around for plywood from the likes of Beijer or K-Rauta etc but really expensive and especially for the amount of sheets you suggested. Where did you get yours from? And what is it called. Saying it in Norwegian is fine as easier to translate to Swedish then. I know you have used Optimera before, did you get it from there? By the way loved the bench and yes also follow Dennis from hooked on wood. Unfortunately he uses top quality baltic birch ply and that is now mega expensive considering how crazy the World has gone on sheet material and wood prices. By the way love the channel and great ideas you have to make a bit of money doing hobbies we love. 👍👍👍
Are, your videos are always a breath of fresh air. I always look forward to seeing new videos released! Thank you for producing these awesome videos. God bless you my friend!
I checked out your plans and, sadly, they are only in metric. If you had provided and SketchUp files, they could be converted be the user. Thanks for sharing your build though.
18 sheets of mediocre plywood would be about $1000 in the US. I would not even mind the prices if we could get real Baltic birch plywood again. Thanks Putin.

Hei, hvor fikk du tak i kryssfineren?
I envy you for your plywood availability. Your 'junk' plywood looks better than our 'premium' plywood here.
Right
Our premium plywood here in Aus (19mm) is $200 a sheet. 😢😢
@@EastAvenueWoodWorks wow.
Where the hell are you buying your plywood if the "premium" is worse than what he is said junk 😂. Please don't say lowes or Home Depot 😂

I think youtube knows that i want to build a miter saw station, but i'm glad i got this video on my recomendations today. very good video.
Thank you!
that looks great! finding $15 plywood here that looks that good would be a dream
Well done Mate. Love the handles you did. I wish I did that on mine. You had me at Makita track saw. 🇳🇴

Nicely done. I think you will be very happy with this mitre saw station and it's storage capacity. 👍👍
Thanks for the video.
Thank you, Jerry! I think so too :)
The comedy at 1:48 mark was brilliant! 😂😂😂😂

@DavidMcCabe that's where all my views came from. makes sense now. thank you. check is in the mail.

Feel free to watch my video 100 times as well 😁

@@AreBaloni no worries, just looking in YT for MITRESAW fence design styles.
This was fantastic to watch. I pulled a lot of inspiration out of your vid for my own setup. Thanks
incredible job on the design, execution and video presentation!
Great video and congrats on such low cost sheets of plywood. It didn’t look like junk at all.
Har fulgt deg en stund og må si jeg er imponert over filmene du lager. Super kvalitet og gøy å følge deg blant alle andre «woodworkers»! Stå på💪
Takk for det, Per Gustav! :)
I love the new Mitre Saw Station what a Fantastic Build, well done.

Thank you, Barry!
Great stuff, Nice build and 100% correct, it doesn't have to be expensive to be what is needed.. Nice Upgrade.
Thank you, Scott!
Terrific work as usual Are! 👍👍🔨🔨
Thank you my friend!
This is absolutely beautiful
It's beautiful Are. Excellent job. 🥰
Thank you, Skippy Lippy!
Your $15 plywood is nicer than my $90 plywood I get here in Canada. It appears to be nearly on par with my $155/sheet plywood

Love the quick shot of the disc golf basket.

Great looking station and the drawer system is genius. Quick question: What purpose does the hood serve?
Riktigt snyggt. Bra jobbat!
Tusen takk!

Thanks! Agree.
Actually thought about doing some sort of project with all the left-over plywood.
Looks great, and that price is blowing me away! I haven't found anything below $50 here in Vestfold😮

Hvor kjøper du denne typen kryssfiner?
Vanlig byggevarehandel.
Takker! Litt dyrere enn i Norge da! Dette er 12mm pakkeplater, så de er en del billigere 👍🏼
nicely done
Thank you, Courtney!

Do you have plans available in imperial measurements?
No, unfortunately not
Rank in order by frequency of use: Bandsaw, Planer, Jointer, Miter Saw, Router Table, Drill Press, Spindle/Belt Sander

Takk! Kjøpte på Byggvell

These are called «pakkeplate». I’ve bought them at both optimera and Byggvell :)

Does anyone know where we can get similar plywood like this in the UK?
What is the sheets called in Norway? I only find stupid expensive plywood with that kind of finish when I'm at the local Montèr 😅

The perfect miter station. Unfortunately we have to deal with a lot more expensive worse plywood than your "junk" plywood in Norway.
Has anyone seen plywood sold like this in the US? It’s cheaper and nicer than the cheap building stuff at big box stores.
First thing I thought, too. I'd like to know where to get my hands on some.

the only thing I do not like about the drawer design is that you pull too far and they will fall out.
