I just found your channel and watched every video. You're building my dream jeep. You do a great job, keep up the good work. Can't wait to see that beauty on the trails!!
If you’re going to buy a plasma cutter I’d recommend getting a Everlast storm 215c. $1300. It’s mig/stick/plasma cutter. It’ll come in handy when that miller is in the shop.😉
As always man you killed it!!! Idk why you and Cody don’t have a ton more subscribers but y’all deserve it!! Love both your channels! Keep up the good work man! We are all taking inspiration from y’all!!!
Thank you for the kind words! I enjoy the slow and steady approach with no clickbait and bikinis haha! Im glad I can help motivate everyone to get out in the shop and dream!
Hi Sam, I’m enjoying your videos immensely. It would be good if we could have longer to look at what you have just worked on, i.e slowly pan across the front axle so we have time to take in your great handy work. Many thanks and keep up the great work ! 👍🏽😎
what a great video man. Been practicing my welding to one day fabricate as you do. Hope the project is going well Are you using fluxcore or mig in the video? Would you ever use fluxcore for this application? Thanks and be well
Hey brotha! This is all traditional Mig with a 75/25 gas mix. I personally wouldn't use flux core on a rock crawler or any motorsports application, but the Fluxcore is a great way to get started in the fabrication and welding hobby. Keep an eye out on marketplace, you can pick up a used mig pretty cheap! side note: a lot of dudes really like the Vulcan mig welders from harbor freight. For the price, I wouldnt be afraid to run one!
@@SamMatter Sam, yes, I replied to your comment on my video. You can contact me through email, and you can find my email on my home page of youtube. Love your build, by the way. Lots of great choices, and skillz!
hah he didn't give up, he just has plenty on his plate! Trust me, soon as he gets his ducks in a row ill be helping him bang out that yj! And yes, everyone needs a cheap jeep to play with!
Yes your the man!! 2k burn out 🔥 🔥Man i just got my nv4500 manual trans now the engine and axle truss. I need a transfer case any idea on a good one to put behind it?
I believe its a 2.5 or 2.75 ram. And the GM pump actually works good for a budget friendly setup. That being said, im ready to take the next step and switch over to a radial dynamics pump and reservoir. I just want a little more power when its bound up in the rocks.

What side of hydraulic ram u using, seen like the stock steering pump working well for that ram after watch some of your videos?
