Jeep Bumper Modification and Radiator Protection for my Rock Crawler
Watching this vid thinking about needing to fix the passenger cowl on the CJuggy...Similar rationale; little too much "character" and the windshield doesn't fit with the out of position/bent hinge. Nice work!
also, man those are some great boatsides, wonder where all those awesome ideas and pointers came from :D
I copied the homework but changed a few answers so no one would know!
im wearing that same exact shirt.. right now... just thought id let you kno.
Please can I have the plan for the jeep Chassis .design and measurements
Link appears to not work
Hmm, I just checked it on my end and its showing the Free Shipping working at checkout through the link. What machine/product are you looking into purchasing?
amazing work man. just wondering, how much in tubing do you think you spent? total length used? thanks and hope it's going. saw that you finally took it off road - take care 😎
100 foot is always a safe bet for a full tj cage with seat tie in. Might use a little less, might use a little more but that will get ya rolling! At the time I built it I was roughly $1000 in materials
@@SamMatter you’re the man, thank you boss 🙏🏽
Nice work man!
LUV the color!! wanna do my 99 wrangler the same or a little more turquoise...
Nice work man! I just bought the Lightning 225, and haven't received it yet. Nice to see people pleased with the Everlast products. Keep up the great videos!
License plate holder looks great! but I’m looking for some mirrors for my rig, I was wondering where you got yours from?
Motobilt universal mirrors!
I ran onto this video again today. You are right. It is perfect! Glad I got to watch it being built.
I like both. It’s nice to see your hard work out on the trails. Thanks for taking us along for the ride.
Great video! Are you interested in off-road lighting stuff sponsorship?
I’m here for the build and the wheeling content!
If you just flip the hardware it would be better
A license plate??? Yeah, that Jeep is street legal in PA. 🤣😂🤣😂 I'm glad my YJ is old enough to get antique tags.
haha ice cream cruiser! We run it around town from time to time and have been pretty lucky. I keep it registered for when we go to Utah and got to run out to dinner/walmart/gas station whatever.
12:35 I’m here for the wheeling too
License Plate Bracket looks great man! Dig the old plates!
Thanks! adds a fun little touch to it
Hey I made a comment about the grille but I want you to know that this TJ has it going on! The simplicity of the cage, the subtle dove tail, the wheelbase, the proportions are just right. Great work dude.
Thanks man, I appreciate that. There are a few things I still want to change cosmetically, but overall im happy! Pretty simple fun rig
padding looks schhaaawwwweeeeeet on the inside. nice little touch. now dont be shy on the wheeling video!
ill see what I can do!
Damn Sam where have you been bro?
Hibernation I soppose, Need another project that's for sure! ready to start building something new and exciting
Looks good! I like the black back plate. Make it pop a bit more and HELL YESS to wheeling content! Hit or miss it's always fun to look back on the good times.
for sure! see ya next weekend!
I'm a license plate hoarder as well haha!
Only reason I go to antique stores with my wife!
I like the build stuff, and I’m always up for some wheeling vids. As I work a lot of the times and don’t get to get out and wheel mine. So I wheel vicariously through y’all.
hah, that's how I felt when all my friends would go wheeling on Saturdays while I worked!
New subscriber here... good video
Thanks for the sub!
I´m up for some wheeling content!!!!
Hotdamn, I was just wondering about you this morning. Good to see you are well, and working in the shop. I'd consider rivnuts for the license plate to make the inside smooth so it doesn't rip up your pack-outs. Maybe put in stainless button head bolts from the inside and have the nuts on the outside, or rivnuts on the outside. Or bolts on the inside with a drilled, tapped and polished metal strap on the outside. Or maybe one of your friends could machine something. ;) Love the sticky padding! BTW, I like your wheeling content.
Im still kicking around, just a bear coming out of east coast hibernation! Thanks for the ideas, I have something planned to solve the exposed nuts inside the gate!
Do you have a link to the marine matting?
Hop on amazon and search " boat padding" and it brings up hundreds of different options, from colors, designs, and brands! I went with a cheaper product and it has seem to hold up decent on the doors so far.
Looks good. Maybe us button head screws on the inside and acorn nuts on the outside. Rivnut the license plate mounts so its easier to swap plates. Glad to see a new video.
so eventually I want to do a small Molly rack on the inside of the gate so I won't be too worried about the nuts since they will be hidden, but super good idea about the rivnuts!
Get the wheeling content!!
Looks good. And I’m In for the wheeling video! ⛰
Film the wheeling!
Lookin good man! Still one of my favorite builds on YT 🫡
Appreciate it brotha!
I don't dig the wheeling content. I prefer the build content.
Thanks for the input! hoping to be able to afford a new project soon to start pumping out more interesting content
We want some wheeling content give the people what they want 😆
Can you tell me more about your tube bender? Who makes it and the model? It looks like it does an awesome job!
JD squared Model 32 bender with a SWAG off-road air over hydro ram. Its a great unit for the price!
One more question loll I’m trying to go low like you I’m curious if your tubs just on the frame ? Or if you have a small spacer ? I’m trying to find a small spacer but can’t find one
The tub is on factory body bushings, with aftermarket frame side mounts. But, the tub sits at factory high off the frame. The magic all happens in the suspension layout and modified frame
Magic is an understatement, this is my first rig I’m 21 and trying to get it all done definitely found my inspiration build !! Cheers man thanks for all the info
What 4link kit did you get ???
Barnes DIY
I’m curious on how much the rear and front is stretched I’m looking on Barnes and they have a 4 ft link kits or em I looking at longer links ?
@@chaddeforge3028 I just used their kit and made my own links. I want to say my physical link bars are like 38" inches long. the wheel base is 113'' from center of front axle to center of rear.
Congratulations 🎉🎉
Good job, i star to see you now, hi from Spain👍
It's kinda like my jeep only a hood, half a tub and windshield frame I'd have to worry about painting 😂
haha I really want to paint my whole jeep at least one more time and then I can let it go down hill.
That’s a nice sweatshirt guy
personal fav !!
THE ROCK IS STILL THERE!!!
Still waiting on an autograph!
Looks great! Nice job. And fast!
Thanks, trying to become more efficient with my time!
I'd say you did a pretty good job. Looks good!
Thanks, I appreciate the input
Awesome work brother!! I’d let you do body work any day haha 😘
Deal!
That's a minty repair 😂👌
"Mint condition, never abused, I know what I got" Ha, thanks for checking out the video!
Now you just have to fix that grille!
Its going to stay around for awhile! Who knows what version 2.0 will look like !
Good job when my ride was in accident Fix auto did the repair and did horrible job so your hired !!!
I appreciate it!
From another "not body guy" looks pretty dang good to me! You come to Windrock let me know and lets wheel!
Windrock is on my 2024 list of places to wheel! If I do go, ill make sure to announce it first.
