Hi Ate Ica! I have always been passionate about drawing anime and people, mostly girls and faces. Your videos are one of the things I can relate to and Ive always wanted my manga characters to move! I know it right from the very start, that Animation is for me! It has always been my passion. This yr, I am going to Lyceum for multimedia arts and I not only wanna stick to drawing and animation, but also get honed with film, photography and motion graphics! I know that I am meant for MMA. Thank you talaga for helping me through your vids and you saying that this course is an in demand job! I am very passionate and excited to enter MMA in my 1st yr college journey!

Hi! I'm an upcoming animation student and tbh I don't even remember why I chose this course but I do know that I want to pursue it. My main dilemma is school is starting in a week and a half; I don't really know how to draw I mean if someone asked me to draw on the spot I might not be able to do it. I've been practicing since the beginning of august, but I don't think it's enough and would most likely make it more difficult for me. Do you think they'll teach us how to draw better?? Or do they just expect students to be good at it?? I'm literally scared bc I feel like I might get fun of for my lack of skill 😭😭💀

Hope I'm too late to reply to this one! Don't worry, your professors are there to teach you. Keep on practicing and at one point, you'll find yourself getting better and comfortable doing it. One tip I can give you in college is don't get pressured if your batchmates are really good in a skill you feel like you are lacking. Go with your own pace and practice harder. Ask help from your professors and batchmates. I wasn't good in drawing and I always ask help from friends who are good in traditional art. Through that, I was able to learn and I found myself getting better at it. Good luck and don't forget to have fun 😁

I can only draw the basic anime but I'm not really good at drawing 😢 I hope I can do this when I pick animation.

I can't even draw basic anime 😫 But I managed to survive animation. The fact that you can draw means you'll do great!

hello po! just wanted to ask if i should be in BA Communication instead of being a MMA student since I lean a lot on filming rather than traditional and digital arts? (which is zero skills huhu) i know that doing arts takes time and the school that I am applying for said na they are teaching students na marunong na. So I'm kind of scared to not keep up. Thank you so much po!

Depends on how you envision your career. Kapag focused sa animation or film yung gusto mo, I suggest to go for the specific course. Pero if gusto mo mag trabaho sa iba't ibang industry with a specialization, suggest ko MMA. 😁

    • @IcaLansang
      @IcaLansang  2 ปีที่แล้ว

If editing is more on movies, short film, commercials - I suggest film production. But if you want a wider scope for advertising and corporate videos, I suggest MMA :)

ate huhu question lng po sana masagot kagad
I know this is late na but hopefully ate mabasa mo pa ren since I'm currently a grade 11 student in 2nd semester and still confuse and complicated decision on what I should take in college
I want to be a motion graphic designer or motion designer as a career pero if I'm gonna take animation I expect na pagaaralan ren naman maganimate nang character which I'm not actually into po sa paganimate nang characters and environment specifically... I actually don't know if I should take animation sa college course or multimedia art? huhu (but I know some basic editing skills, but I don't know how to do graphic design, I don't know much about animation but i want to learn it in the process of studying, I am also more on the visual art side)

Hello po ate, about sa design under the comment, anime, characters, etc. Will it still be found in just multi media arts
My issue is that, i am for digital art, design, characters, such as riot, genshin, insert gaming company splash art artist. Thats my passion.
But i chose multi media rats because it is more versatile in terms of jobs, is there still those factors in BAMMA bachelor of arts in multi kedia arts?

Hello I'm still confused on which to take between bmma and ab film... I would like to know which should I choose if I want to learn in depth visual fx, compositing, and post production techniques... (Bonus nalang if pwede pa matuto ng 3D animation)... Also I intend to work in the fields of filmmaking, music videos, and advertising for sports... preferably....

I think Film suits you better since you already have a clear vision. Although di ko sure if may 3D animation, definitely may post editing and visual effects.

sorry if this question is too personal, no need to answer if ever, but during your time in MMA, how much was the monthly tuition fee of the school u were enrolled into? whats the average tuition fee for an MMA course, and what are the good schools that offer said course?

    • @IcaLansang

I think it was about 60k per term in Benilde. Tuition will differ per university. Other known schools for MMA would be CIIT, iAcademy, Mapua, Lyceum.
