Before you leave a comment saying “use the chaos abilities” This is the last episode I recorded before learning that info (again, accidentally turned off tutorials which is my bad). I’ll use them if we end up playing as shadow again in the near future. Got yall 🫡
Absolutely agree brudda that was one of the most fun stages in the game so far. Insanely cool ideas and great implementation of homing attack chains. Amazing overall.
I love how the titles are "This game is not so bad!" and the comments are eating up, meanwhile the actual video is actually him getting mad at how crappy the game is. Truly a "youtuber fan hivemind' moment
Bro I meat ride the game the entire second half of the video LMAO. The majority of the content in this game rangers from decent to really fun, with only the bosses and plane sections really sucking mad dick and that's the minority of content in the game.
There are 4 chaos ability’s: chaos blast witch obliterates everything in a radius, chaos spear witch shoots a projectile, chaos control slows down time and chaos dash lets you dash in any direction even up if you hold the jump button and the dash at the same time.
"These levels are too long"... No, you're just playing them for the first time. Of course you're going to take ages, you aren't used to the level yet. This happens in literally every Sonic game, ever heard of the SEGA learning curve..?
@@OverZeelous How can I glaze this game like nuts and still have you out here pissed that I said one negative thing about it 😭 SEGA learning curve is real but name me one Sonic Generations level, even including Planet Wisp, that would take even a FRACTION of 10 minutes on your first run. My criticisms are perfectly valid even accounting for the shortened time given skilled play. And just for shits and giggles, I looked up world record time for United Railroad... it's over 3 minutes, like fuck out of here with that "you're just not good enough" take, it makes no sense.
@@SendoDX Over 3 minutes is not 10 minutes+. You're still inexperienced and that's why it took you that long. These levels are not that long, a full playthrough of the game is just 2 hours if you know what you're doing. How many Sonic games can you say (besides Forces) are that short?
@@OverZeelous *world record time* indicating the fastest known completion of the stage with perfect execution is still over 3min, which is around the time most people say good Sonic stages should end when experiencing relatively skilled, yet normal, play. I also think bringing up the speed it takes to complete a Sonic *fan game* (in its entirety) and then comparing that to games produced by a studio isn’t particularly helpful nor valid, especially when discussing individual level length. If anything, 2 hours to complete a full fan experience is still pretty long in the grand scheme of things - and even then, total length indicates little about individual level length. Over just not a super helpful metric to bring up.
Is it just a damaging more or like… what’s the vibe? Haven’t used it yet since I haven’t recorded anything beyond this episode, so idk haven’t had a chance to fuck with it yet

that's quite literally the OPPOSITE take I've heard from everyone else LMAO. The tornado fight is piss easy even on a first run, the rest of these fights take a decent amount of mental focus/fortitude. Completely disagree with your take here gang (outside of me not playing effectively).
@@SendoDX Dude, you contradict yourself with your own play. Yes, it was rough seeing you screw up so much. That I still stand by. But eventually you got better and was able to beat these bosses by (somewhat) understanding their attacks and weaknesses. If you had that level of understanding from the start, these bosses would've been so much better for you and you would've enjoyed them a lot more. I recommend looking up a video showcasing an optimal attempt on these bosses. That way you'll see how they should be fought and take some tips for your own play. Once you understand them more, you'll realize all the stuff you complained about being "annoying" or "unfair" actually isn't that way at all.
Have you played these bosses bro? Those attacks are awfully telegraphed and the window for hitting them all is insane, the only ones kind of not complete dookey are the shadow ones and that's because you have a screen wipe, not to mention their insane amount of health? And the. tornado one is literally a worm, which is literally the easiest enemy archetype to fight because of how easy they are. What are you yapping about?
@@yummynubs3646 Skill issue. When the Egg Dragoon attacks, you boost to the side to avoid the attack. When Shadow's boss against the omen in chapter 4 uses laser attacks, you either jump around them or hide behind the stairs. there wasn't an injustice, the creators are super weirdos, they tried to make money out of a stolen IP, they sexualized maria who is a 10 year old child, they treated their voice actors like shit. Ouroboros studios does suck ass, but the game is great
@@Just-A-Clown111 they have made a response document to the main one that people refer to. Apparently their explanation for Maria was that one of the girls on the team put it in as a joke. While I find it better that it means they weren't attempting to sexualize her, I still feel that joke was just in poor taste. Not everyone is going to get an inside joke like that, and more people are going to be offended by it, so regardless, they are very much at fault for that. As for the money situation, Sega did intervene and tell them they can't make money off of the IP, but still did ok them to continue their work on the game. While I'm not going to pretend they weren't responsible for their poor actions, I do want to point out that most of the team seems to be from Russia, so I don't know which of our laws or cultural values apply to them. Still, I find it important to note that the game was always going to be free regardless of their patreon. It could be possible that they tried to make a quick buck off of the people that wanted early access to unfinished builds of the game, yes, but it could just as likely been an attempt at rewarding the people that wanted to financially support them, it just so happened to be illegal.
