There were so many people kitted out in Best Athletic gear at the Aviva 10k in London this weekend! As a long time viewer who hadn't done a big event in a while, it was so cool to see :)

Glad they fixed the upper! Say, Pro 4 v Pro Evo - is that contingent on weather or a feeling of somehow “getting an unfair advantage”? Probably doesn’t matter, since without putting in the work, a pb wouldn’t happen.
That’s true, as the margins get tighter these give us tiny improvements but ultimately putting in the work makes the most difference 💪🏻
As a heavy runner AP3 was perfect, if AP4 is lighter and softer foam it will not suit for me, sad.
Pro 4 will be released on the 1st Jan 2025
Pro 3 and pro 4 are priced the same at the moment. Hope the pro 3 drops a bit
Adidas often give a huge discount on they own website every month I saw Pro3 $100 two weeks ago. I also bought my pro3 $125 from adidas online store last year.
The 4 isn't widely released yet. It releases in January. My guess is the 3 will stay the same until spring of next year.

I love this in theory but I do think I'm probably not fast enough (3h30 marathon) to really warrant this one
@@LukenotLuc I think you are, is it a matter of resources given their price? I’m barely Sub3 and I’m in running carbon fiber shoes. I’ve had 3ish in non-carbon shoes as well, but they do make a difference if time is your goal.
At that speed you’re definitely fast enough 👌🏻

Never found an Adidas running shoe that fit my feet. Asics seem to generally fit me the best but also depends on model.
Asics midsoles are light but unresponsive!
@MyCommentsAreFictional Superblast isn't unresponsive and neither are the Sky and Edge Paris shoes
@JustBrowsing777 Asics Sky is awful, it's just squishy foam. Adidas lightstrike is responsive, light, and lasts longer.
It's what puts me off trying Adidas.

Do you ever think of going without socks to go faster?
Na I’ve always worn socks. I think that could cause chafing and blisters
@@justalilbester my Nike streakfly don't give me blisters, my takumi sen 8 do unless I use a little tape, all my 5k season bests are without socks 20grams is 20grams!

Yes indeed. Half a size bigger in the adidas range vs any other shoes out there, for me.

I’ve actually never tried them, sorry. I only run with shoes in the adidas range. So you can ask my any questions on those and I should know
