In my opinion, you can't go wrong with lily pads in a pond if you're fishing for bass. In fact the more the better! Just got to figure out some kind of soft plastic weedless, and you've got it made!
Good idea I might have to try that. My thing with the frogs is I'm so nervous and I jerk so fast that I pull it away from him when they're bulging up on it. I saw where one Pros advice was you look the other way when you're reelinf in your frog when and you wait to feel him.

Yeah I usually miss a couple before I get my frog dialed in cause I set the hook too fast
