When we arrived at 10pm, we explored the city Kyoto but it was empty! It was a peculiar but pleasant experience, with the city alight with streetlights and an atmosphere of mystery. We felt a ghostly presence at a closed shrine but all went well and on the way back to our hotel we even met some lost Westerners as well. We would never forget our city explorations. So adventurous 😊! Later at daylight we would visit the Fox shrine and it was overwhelming. The ancient buildings and the masses of ppl. Kyoto is one of a kind. When we went back we figured out how many ppl could fit in a bus. Oh man, what a memory before that Covid shit. Kyoto- a must visit to any Japan traveller. Bring some time!
This again is such an immersive experience with your videos! You have captured the surreal beauty of the Kyoto sunset and the stunning temple so very well. And this must be a rare chance to see the sights of Kyoto without the usual crowds. Looking forward to the rest of the trip.

If there one place in the world that I would visit only once would be Japan; the history, culture and architecture are of utmost uniqueness.
