Wow, you already knew!!! Unfortunately I didn’t! The train to that stop got destroyed by a landslide, so just took the bus to kifune. But I will for sure return for Kurama-dera!! You seem to know a lot of places! Do you have any other recommendations???

Of course, my knowledge of Japan comes only from my love for this beautiful country and from reading, browsing and watching superb vlogs like yours. My wife and I have been long planning to visit Japan and looking forward to our trip for some time now. Hope to visit as soon as the pandemic scene stabilises. So, as someone who has only "virtually" travelled Japan (pun intended!!), I feel honoured to be asked to share more offbeat place names! Near Kyoto, besides Kibune and Kurama-dera, we would like to do Enryakuji, Yoshimine-dera and Miyama village. Around those parts of Japan, also hoping to do Mt.Shosha during our Himeji trip and, of course, we won't miss serene Koyasan.

No Honda, and maybe one or 2 Suzuki (Suzuki still making cars?). Korean cars none! You immortalized the poor lady that was about to fall due to her tall shoes!

By the way, in the video information you meant a "bamboo chute" for the Somen, not a "shoot". I'd like to try that, but Somen is a summer thing and I generally visit Japan in winter.
