I have that exact blender, and it is a BEAST. If you don't hold it down it tends to jiggle a bit when the blades have to really work. If you use less water you basically get a soft-serve ice cream, but you have to tamp the ice down every few seconds, so I just go for the frosty/milkshake.
if you put the cup on the scale and zero it out "tare".. add your cream, scale calculates; Tare again to zero, add oil (if using) scale calculates. Zero again, add powder, scale calculates. Zero again, add water...la-la Don't need lines on the cup or separate measurement "bowls".
at like 9:11 you say more water = thicker, less water = thinner? is that right? I feel like it should be the opposite? less water to absorb the powder wouldnt make it thicker?
I just tried my first Keto Chow Starter Packet (Mocha). I mixed it with a scoop of collagen, and about 1 tbsp of Irish butter. I heated it and it is like drinking a thick hot chocolate. It doesn't taste too bad but seems a little salty.
On the blender bottles, mL is on the left and oz is on the right. The very bottom line is the 4oz line, aka 1/2 cup. The lines a molded into the plastic and are quite faint. I use a marker to make mine darker.
The issue with almond milk is that it has very few calories - if you use just that you are going to be pretty hungry. if that's what you're wanting then it would work well. There are some other alternatives on www.ketochow.xyz/ufaqs/alternatives-heavy-cream-lactose-intolerant-can-keto-chow-dairy-free/
I just got my Ketochow (savory chicken soup) and I cant be any more excited! I made it as described on the package and used an electric whisk. I found it to be very frothy and difficult for me to get it down... I must be doing this wrong. Can you help me? ( I made it with butter and warm water)
No, because you already have the fat and the powder in the bottle, filling it to the 14 ounce line would give you gloopy thick pudding. You need to add 14 ounces (or so) of water. How much you add is largely a matter of taste but for me, I put in the 4 fluid ounces of heavy cream, add the powder, and then fill up the bottle to the 20 ounce line. That gets it to the viscosity that I personally like. My wife fills hers to the 16 ounce line but she's typically using 2 ounces of avocado oil instead of 4 of heavy cream.
I really liked the idea slider idea of mixing fats (say butter and avocado oil) in each shake as it shows in this video (2018). However, I can't seem to find this on your current website. Perhaps it is no longer there?
The flavor of Extra Virgin Olive Oil is pretty stong and most people don't like it in Keto Chow. There's nothing wrong with it, though, so if you like the taste - more power to you!
@@KetoChowTH-cam thank you. I figured out what I was doing wrong. Made a pumpkin spice and it’s delicious. I was using heavy whipping cream and a blender and it was making butter. A shaker is all I need to use. Thanks again
At $3.80 a meal in the Bulk Meal bags or $5.00 a meal in the Single Meals, Keto Chow can look more expensive compared to a protein shake that's only protein. However, Keto Chow isn't just a protein shake snack. It's a complete meal with 1/3 of everything you need: vitamins, minerals, electrolytes, protein, fiber, and fats. It's specifically designed so that you can completely replace an entire meal. Joe and Rachel of 2KrazyKetos did an analysis of Keto Chow vs. other keto foods. You can read that at 2krazyketos.com/2020/09/23/is-ketochow-expensive/ or watch the TH-cam video they made at th-cam.com/video/WhnW3kAUBVM/w-d-xo.html

Has anyone tried to put prepared Ketochow into a cuisinart ice cream maker? I might try it. Who doesn't want to eat ice cream for dinner???? ;)
After watching this, you make me wanna get a blender so I can make a Frosty. I hope it really does taste close to the real thing.
Great assistants!!

wow, yeah that's the opposite of what I meant. See what happens when you don't write a script?
I'm looking forward to trying some of the samples when the 2.1 becomes available. And mixing it with ice... I may even get hubby to try that. Whee!!!

It is a little salty. It is designed to be salty.
@@KetoChowTH-cam Well, if the Keto Chow is already salt...then I should not be using salted butter. Thanks.
Great tutorial!!!
Thank you!
I just ordered a sample pack of 6 flavors, I tried super body fuel (keto) and just did not like the flavor at all so I'm hoping this tastes better
How much butter for 1 serving
You can use up to half a stick, depending on your desired calories for your Keto Chow. Learn more at: info.ketochow.xyz/prepare
I know I’m a little late but I just learned of keto chow. I want to use coconut oil is that equivalent to avacado oil as in how much I should use?
You would follow the same measuring instructions for avocado oil, but the mixing instructions for butter.
There is no line for oz in mine that came with the 5 samples

what about almond milk over heavy cream/avocado oil?

WE ARE Working on a MASSIVE keto push. We have lost 65lbs so far! We would love to team up with yall!
Are you putting water in to a 14oz mark? How is that 14oz when you have the other ingredients already added? Or are you actually measuring out 14oz?

I think that calculator was from the old website. There is a link to calculate your fats on this page of our website: info.ketochow.xyz/prepare

Where is the 4 oz line
On the blender bottle, the two bottom marks are 100ml and 4oz

I wish this stuff wasn’t so expensive. $5 a meal is pretty pricey.

Still very confusing listening to this😱
We have additional information about mixing Keto Chow on our website: info.ketochow.xyz/prepare.
Why does everyone in this family seem like they're being held hostage??
Artbug probably just nervous and uncomfortable being infront of a camera
Because they are :-)
