Woman arrested after allegedly stealing rare baseball cards at MAX station

Aggravated theft in first degree? From the story it seems he dropped the bag himself I guess she happened to find it. Is there a duty to return found items or something. I guess finders keepers isn’t a thing. Well I don’t think she deserved criminal charges for what she did. If she was smart she should’ve just stashed it away for a few years and not try to get rid of it so soon. The guy should’ve told the cops don’t press charges cuz he’s as much to blame for the loss as she is. Be more careful with your stuff if it’s so valuable. And why wasn’t it inside the suitcase to begin with.

Those 10 cards aren’t worth 40k. Not even close. Police should be on his tail for lying about that. When you’re a victim of theft, you can’t lie about the value of the stolen goods or you can be charged with a crime too

You are familiar with the vintage card market? You seem more upset at the price of the cards than you are about the theft. Are you just a thief trying to change the subject away from how a horrible person tried to victimize an innocent person? How much stuff have you had stolen? How much stuff have you stolen from your neighbors? Please be honest because with the tone of your original post it's clear you're just a scummy human who likes to kick people when they're down, so you obviously would steal from someone if you felt you could.

You know not of what you speak of. You have no idea what condition those card were rated. I have a rookie Ricky Henderson card that depending on it condition could be worth $300 or $250,000. Any one of those cards in mint condition could be worth more than $40,000.

@@UURevival you are uneducated. You don’t have a Rickey Henderson worth 250k. And it doesn’t matter what condition they could be in, it matters what condition they are currently in. And for insurance purposes they will never credit you as having the nicest example of each of those 10 cards. With raw cards they will classify them as being somewhere around NM to NM MINT. And if you add up the value of all of those cards in that condition it’s not anywhere near 40k, it’s not even 10k. You’re a more on, get lost. Your momma needs to slap you

I have a trading card shop for over 28 years now. Those cards shown are nowhere near $40k. Maybe there are more cards that wasn't shown in the picture? I don't know the full story but there is something not right with the whole scenario. I am just glad he got his stuff back and the culprit got caught.
